Taking out old existing unserviceable copper/aluminium strip/wire any type from wall/roof complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix aluminium strip of size 25x3.15 mm for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall/ roof with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground or any other indicated situation complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Two lengths of strips shall be jointed together by overlapping not less than 100 mm both ends through welding/brazing.

Supply and fix copper strip electrolyte grade having purity not less than 99.9 % of size 20x3.15 mm for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed wall/ roof with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground or any other indicated situation complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Two lengths of strips shall be jointed together by overlapping not less than 100 mm both ends through welding/brazing.

Supply and fix GI strip of size 32x6 mm for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed wall with saddles and fixing screws etc. or laid underground as in grid connection of earthing complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Two lengths of strips shall be jointed together by overlapping not less than 100 mm both ends through welding/brazing.

Supply and fix Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on saddles or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 4mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire complete all as specified and directed

Taking down old unserviceable single pointed termination rod any type over the roof from PCC block/GI pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix single pointed termination aluminium rod 12 mm dia, 300mm long on roof top including fixing/fitting of termination rod and over the roof in PCC block/GI pipe and making connection with roof/down conductor with Al strip by proper bolting/brazing etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : PCC and GI pipe shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of sch.

Material and labour for carrying out soil resistivity for earthing at in accordance with IS 3043 : 2018 by wernner's method and issuing a complete report at certain locations within the premises Ammunition Dump and AWC area as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge. NOTE : The job to be executed within 1 month of issue of work order.

Dismantling/Taking out old unserviceable earthing any type/size complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 Metre deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Metre below normal ground level connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4.0 mm dia by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts, washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 03 of SSR Part I connected to earthing test point including excavation/ earth work in any type of strata, removal of surplus excavated material, GI pipe for watering and funnel, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 use 20 mm graded stone aggregate chamber including necessary formwork / mould for fair and even surfaces, precast RCC 1:2:4 type B0 use 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate chamber cover slab, GI funnel, with GI watering pipe 20 mm bore medium graded, wire mesh, protection pipe 15 mm bore GI pipe light grade for earth lead upto 7.50 metre long salt, charcoal including testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) Earth lead beyond 7.5 metre will be measured and paid sepeartely. (ii) Test report shall be prepared and submitted by the contractor in triplicate duly obtaining signatures of MES JE / AGE & user. (iii) The earth resistance should be less than 5 Ohm..

M&L for bore holes for chemical eathing upto 150 mm bore to the depth of 3 Meter deep in any type of soil/starta including hard stone boulders by means of any method getting out and disposal of soil to a distance of n exc. 50 m complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement UL Listed / CPRI tested maintenance free , low carbon copper coated earth rod of 3 Mtr length electrode having diameter of 17.2 mm with with molecular bonded with 99.9% electrolytic copper with minimum coating thickness of 250 microns With thread for linking together additional rod as per site requirement. All relevent tests as per IEC 62561-2. Rod should be tested and certified for Short circuit current withstanding capacity of 20kA Irms from CPRI. Earth electrode shall be undergone the following test as per IEC 62561-2 and report of the same to be submitted to Engineer in charge before placing purchase order :- Electrical resistivity test, Tensile test, Bend test, Adhesion test, Coating thickness test, Salt mist test.

Supply and fix universal clamp of SS to connect earth rod with flat conductor complete all as specified and directed

M&L for earth conductivity enhancing compound shall be tested as per IEC 62651-7, for retaining and maintaining moisture content in the soil, Earth Enhancement Compound is required. Thus such enhancement compounds are supposed to be technically suitable for the condition of use in the field without creating any hazard to the environment as well as the earth electrode, Conductive compound producing low resistance of an earth termination system. Earth enhancing compound shall be so designed and constructed that in normal use their performance is reliable and without danger to persons and the surroundings. The material shall be chemically inert to sub soil and shall not pollute the environment. It shall provide a stable environment in terms of physical and chemical properties and exhibit low resistivity. It shall not be corrosive to the earth electrode itself. The resistivity of the Earth enhancing mineral compound shall be less than 0.1 Ω-m and should not dissolve, decompose and pollute the environment. 25Kg of compound mixed with required amount of water and sand in slurry form to use with earthing system. Note : Earth enhancing compound shall be undergone tests as per IEC 62561-7 and test report of the same to be submitted to engineer in charge before placing bulk order.

M&L for heavy duty chamber of 300 mm X 300 mm X 200 mm made of Polyethylene / Polypropylene material. Flush Mounted, removable and lockable cover of the earth pit should be able to withstand 5KN(5000Kg). The area inside the inspection chamber should be such that, the UNIVERSAL CLAMP/EBB/Bus bar is not too deep inside the inspection chamber or projecting out of inspection chamber. The chamber should have facility for marking earth resistance and latest testing date by paint at the cover and previous recorded values inside the cover. Inspection chamber should be tested and complied as per IEC 62561-5. Permanent fitting (like a screwed-down plastic label or copper label, or one that can be threaded onto the cable) shall be used at the connection point that is clearly marked with the words: “EARTHING LEAD -DO NOT DISCONNECT” or “EARTHING CONDUCTOR - DO NOT DISCONNECT” all as specified and directed. NOTE FOR SER ITEM NO 12 to 17 : (i) The work is to be carried out through OEM/ authorised vendor only. Proof of which is to be submitted to Engr-in-charge before execution of work. (ii) The earth resistance should be less than 2 Ohm.

Supply & fixing in replacement 40 mm bore bore tubing, Light grade,galvanised, with all fitting,screwed,and fixed complete to walls/ceilings and laid in floors for earthing strip protection/ fixing of air terminator rod including taking out old pipe complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & fixing in replacement 15 mm dia bore of tubing,Light grade,galvanised, with all fitting,screwed,and fixed complete to walls/ceilings and laid in floors for earthing strip protection/ fixing of air terminator rod including taking out old pipe complete all as specified & directed

M & L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-2 (using 20 mm aggregate) as fixing of pipe on roof for air terminators etc including form work & finishing the surfaces even & smooth with out using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for improvement of earthing value upto the desired level as per requirment of equipment by pouring of mixture of salt/charcoal dust/magnesium sulphate/ bentonite in proper ratio including watering complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in replacement of galvanized iron steel water tubing 15 mm bore, medium grade for watering to earth pits, laid in trenches, including all fittings and fixtures complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F 32 mm medium grade PVC pipe ISI marked, burried earthing strip into the ground for proper insulation of building and equipment complete all as directed.

M&L for fabrication of earth pit indicator made of MS sheet of 3mm thick (shape as directed ) welded on iron strip of 32mm x 6mm thick x 900mm long (150mm in below GL) dully painted with synthetic enemeled paint over a one coat of redoxide primer complete with writing earthing nomenaclature including excavation of suitable size for holding indicator as specifed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: PCC will be measured separately.

M&L in replacement for test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex.head screw complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
