SCHEDULE 'A' E/M Works

Supplying, fixing, testing, and commissioning AC 240 volt single phase tamper proof electronic whole current energy meter (Polycarbonate body LCD display), accuracy class 1.0, rating range 10 Amp to 60 Amp, with pilfer proof meter box and sealing screw, The meter shall comply with the latest version of IS-13779 with atleast 2 anti tamper LED indication of line load reversal and earth loading indication and shall work satisfactory with guarantee acuracy as per limit of IS-13779. The meter shall be fixed in existing steel box on wall including cable connection (inlet and outlet) and proper sealing with KWH lead sealing tablets & wire including taking down old meter and deposited to AGE E/M-V office with details such as building No., old meter No., New meter No, initial reading, date of installation etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Supply and fixing in replacement Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long at roof of building/ESHs at any height including taking down old unserviceable air termination rod any type complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos, 8mm dia 25mm long hex head screw including taking out/down old unserviceable test point with box any type, including making good to disturbed surfaces of wall complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) Box shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ

Supply and fixing in replacement Aluminium strip 25 x 3.15 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors (building/ESHs at any height) above ground including taking down old unserviceable aluminium strip any size from roof and wall and making good to disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Porcelain, vitreous insulator shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ

Supply and fixing in replacement Copper strip 20 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors (building/ESHs at any height) above ground including taking down old unserviceable strip any type and size from roof and wall and making good to disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Porcelain, vitreous insulator shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ

Supply and fixing porcelain, vitreous insulator of suitable size for aluminium/copper strip down conductor with one metre intervel fixing/secured with and including suitable screws and PVC rawl plug/gutties at roof and along wall complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 3.15mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including earth continuity copper strip 20x3 mm (upto test point from earth plate, i.e. 7.5m minimum) by means of GI bolts/nuts/washers and including protected by 40mm dia GI light grade protection pipe from earth plate to test point. Earth plate shall be surrounded by packed layer of char coal/coke & salt all around bottom and top with alternative layer. 20mm GI light grade pipe for watering (should be 10cm above GL) and including socket, plug, funnel, wire mesh, CI cover 10mm thick hanged to CFI frame, using PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in earthing pit chamber including necessary form work, excavation & earth work, all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR (Part – I) including taking out/dismantling old unserviceable earthing system complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) Test point shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ

Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including earth continuity GI strip 25x4mm (upto test point from earth plate i.e. 7.5m minimum) by means of GI bolts/nuts/washers and including protected by 40mm dia GI light grade protection pipe from earth plate to test point. Earth plate shall be surrounded by packed layer of char coal/coke & salt all around bottom and top with alternative layer. 20mm GI light grade pipe for watering (should be 10cm above GL) and including socket, plug, funnel, wire mesh, RCC cover and (including steel for cover) PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in earthing pit including necessary form work, excavation & earth work, all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR (Part – I) including taking out/dismantling old unserviceable earthing system complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15cm thickness below or above ground level of any description and in any position including removing rubbish material from the site to a distance not exceeding 100 metre and deposited as directed complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping, bed block, for embedded termination rod & similar work etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
