SCHEDULE "A" PART-I (REPAIRS TO ROAD AND ALLIED WORKS)

Repairs to potholes any depth not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to atleast 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat of paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 at 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premix as specified for SDAC well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of SDAC) depth of potholes exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, loose materials etc., sweeping with mechanical blower or brooms to remove all loose dirt, materials etc., and Applying evenly using pressure sprayer a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer of paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 at 5 kg / 10 Sqm over bituminous surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. complete all as specified and as directed

Bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC), 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% minimum binder content by weight of total mix, (paving bitumen VG-30) and filler of 2% cement, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete using mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform, smooth surface using Tandem vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed.

(a) Contractor shall quote his rate by considering 5.5% bitumen content. If it is less than 5.5% by weight of total mix, the amount shall be recovered for the less weight of binder only at the rate of Rs 42/- per Kg if technically acceptable. No other claim whatsoever on account of this will be allowed.

(b) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used / approved in the execution of work under this item.

(c) Cement shall be used as filler at a minimum of 2% by weight of total mix. In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of filler content on plus side, nothing extra shall be paid.

Preparing road surface including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc and applying 2.5mm thick road marking strips (Retro reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material conforming to IS-164(1981) by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser including glass beads, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions all as per BS EN 1871, BS EN 1423 and BS EN 1424 complete as specified and directed.

S&F Cat Eye Solar reflective type of double side metal body alloy of size 100mmx100mmx20mm with PAMA strip lens reflectors of model No DA 972.0 or equvalent make approved by GE fixed with and incl MS Stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions and all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floor and paving not exc 15 cm thickness below or above ground level complete all as specified.

M&L Plain cement concrete 1:4:8, type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate 100mm thick as in Sub-base of floor complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 75mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in flooring,finishing the surfaces conrete topping even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L forming contraction (Dummy) joints 65mm deepx10mm wide ,filled with Grade A sealing compound all as specified and directed.

M&L Forming construction Joint 30 mm deep x 10 mm wide filled with Grade A sealing compound compound all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar in floors,aprons etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L plain cement concrete 1:5:10 type E2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Chequered cement concrete tiles 30cm x 30cm x 25mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors with grey cement and pigment incl 20mm thick cement screed bed in CM 1:4

M&L Brickwork with fly ash bricks , straight or curved on plan to exc 6m mean radius built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:6 on surfaces of brick /concrete wall surface all as specified surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces and applying three coats of white wash on walls complete all as specified and directed.
