TESTING OF EARTH PITS AT BPCL MCI

Testing of the earth pits at BPCL MCI Mangalore Coastal Installation (MCI) located at Baikampady, near APMC yard, Mangalore of Karnataka. MCI caters to different sales areas of Mangalore Retail Territory, Gulbarga Territory, Calicut territory, Rescue loads to Belgaum Territory and I&C. Earth pits, or grounding systems, are essential in POL locations to ensure safety and operational efficiency. They protect personnel and equipment from electrical shocks and faults, manage voltage surges, and prevent static electricity build-up, which could lead to explosions. Every six months, earth pit need to be tested as per BPCL policy ensures that these earth pits continue to perform effectively. Through this tender, we intend to conduct testing of earth pit at MCI.
