SCH 'A' PART-XII "MISC ITEMS"

Demolition cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n. exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) etc complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of stone slabs and tiles laid beded and pointed in any mortar of any description or thicknes in floors , aprons etc complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches,n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for foundation etc and getting out in hard /dense soil any type of soil etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded aggregate) as in foundations,filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster or lime plaster on walls /ceiling of any description from concrete or brick wall etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water and disposing off the retreived debris out side MD land including necessary scaffoldings etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of brick work /stone bouldersbuilt in cement mortar including all quins, arches, pillars etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B2(20mm graded aggregate) as in surface channels and drains etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Framed work such as grills, gratings etc., with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forget into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe 410-0 or Fe 310-0 etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer including preparation of previously untreated steel surfaces of steel and iron exc 10 cm width or girth etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in hold fast, bed plate etc including necessary form work etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for walling of random rubble, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in CM 1:6, as in wall etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: PCC bond stone and face work shall be measured and paid separately

Extra over stone walling for hammer dressing to face stones with maximum depression on fair face from straight edge held against the dressed surface not exceeding 20 mm for granite or trap stone of face beds & joints as specified of random rubble walling uncoursed or brought upto course etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC block masonry with solid blocks grade C (5.0) exc 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:6 etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:6) on brick/concrete surfaces of walls, finished even & smooth surfaces without using extra cement etc complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in with approved earth obtained from excavation after removal of grass, vegetation etc. including spreading, levelling, watering & well ramming in layers n exc 25 cm thick in each layers, etc complete all as specified and directed.

Removing and disposing off the excavated material/soil out side MD Land, etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: For payment purposes, quantity of excavation after deduction of the quantity of returning filling, shall only be payable under this item.

M&L 75 mm thick Cement concrete type D2, 1:4:8 (using 40 mm graded aggregate) as in sub base of flooring etc complete all as specified and directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, mounds, mitred/stopped end etc complete all as specified and directed.

Add or deduct for each 25 mm girth or part thereof over or under 30 cm ditto etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for factory made precast Cement Concrete (1:2:4) type B-0, using 12.50mm graded stone aggregate making rounded or chamfered on edges as required fixed in position as in kerb stone using cement mortar 1:4 including demolition of PCC,excavation and earthwork and ramming etc complete all as specified and directed.
