SPECIAL REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF WATER SUPPLY PIPE LINES, SLUICE VALVES, NRV, VALVE PIT CHAMBERS, GATE VALVES ETC AT AF STN BIHTA

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 mtr wide and n.exc 1.5 mtr deep in loose / soft soil and getting out for under ground cable/Pipe lines / erection of poles, stays etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in soil including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavated material (soil) not exc 50 mtr away and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old unserviceable GI tubing with all fittings from trenches, walls, floors etc, complete all as specified and directed for the following size of pipes: - (Note : Excavation & earth work will be measured & paid seperately under respective item ). (a) 80 mm dia bore

b) 50 mm bore

c) 25 mm bore

d) 20 mm bore

M & L for GI pipe medium grade with all fittings laid in trenches 80mm bore medium grade ISI Marked with all fittings, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for GI pipe medium grade with all fittings laid in trenches 50mm bore medium grade ISI Marked with all fittings, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for brick masonry valve pit internal size 1200mm x 1200mm x 1200mm with one brick thick wall using sub class 'B' brick in cement mortar 1:6 over 20cm thick PCC platform with 15cm off sets on every side of 1:3:6 type C-1 including plastering of internal surface and exposed surfaces with 15mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:4 and PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in coping for grouting MS frame including 3 mm thick MS sheet cover with locking arrangement including 50 mm padlock with double key arrangement, MS frame shall be made out of 50x50x6mm thick angle iron including painting of steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including necessary excavation in any type of soil, returing filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m, complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in replacement 15mm bore bib taps, cast copper alloy with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed down, high pressure, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Fixing in replacement CI Sluice valve with flanged ends of size 150 mm dia, PN 1.6, complete with gun metal or stainless steel spindle and cast iron hand wheel including rubber / fiber board gasket, nuts, washer, welding work etc including taking down old/ unservicable Sluice valve, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in Charge.

Description all as per item Ser No 17 herein before but for 100mm dia sluice valve, complete all as specified and directed.

Description all as per item Ser No 17 herein before but for 80mm dia sluice valve, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement non return sluice valve of size 150mm dia and PN 1.6, conforming to IS-5312, including provision of suitable size of adapter of pipe made of CI/DI/GI pipes with double flange ends etc, matching with existing pipe line, welding work etc, including taking down old/ unservicable non return Sluice valve, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable DI/CI water supply pipe line with all fittings from trenches, complete all as specified and directed for the following size of pipes:- (Note : Excavation & earth work will be measured & paid seperately under respective item ). a) 150 mm dia bore

b) 100 mm dia bore

c) 80 mm dia bore.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of DI pipe of 150 mm bore ISI marked, spigot and socketed type, Class K-7, centrifugally cast, suitable for rubber tyton joints, laid in trenches including all necessary fiitings and complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Description all as per ser item No 22 here-in-before but for 100 mm bore pipe, complete all as specified and directed.

Description all as per ser item No 22 here-in-before but for 80 mm bore pipe, complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of existing cast iron pipe and reducing the length upto required level for insertion of new tee, branch connection or any other means etc.upto 150mm dia, complete all as specified and as directed.
