PHE/SWSD/EE/NIeT- 04 of 2026-27 (SL.NO. 01 )

Operation of water treatment plant commencing from Inlet chanel of raw water with continuous supervision of the functional aspects of the following individual units including routine maintenance of the mechanical installations as per instruction and satisfactions of the Engineer-in-charge 8 hours X 2 shifts in a day any time depending upon availability of power (normally between 6.00 A.M. to 10.00 P.M.) In terms with following modules:

(a) (i) Running of flash mixer along with lubrication and minor re-alignment (if necessary including re-placement of fuse wire and all other minor maintenance of mechanical installations for 2 nos. flash mixers.

(a) (ii) Running of clarifier bridges, driving motors gear pinion etc. along with lubrication and minor re-alignment, re-placement of fuse wires and minor maintenance of electrical and mechanical installations for 2 nos. clarifiers.

(a) (iii) Running of flocculator drive motor, gear pinion etc. along with lubrication and all other maintenance of mechanical / electrical installations for all the flocculators.

(b) Operation of alum tank agitator paddles of 3 nos. alum solution tanks with supervision of the functional aspects of the following units :(8 hours X 2 shifts in a day any time depending upon availability of power (normally between 6.00 A.M. to 10.00 P.M.)

(b) (i) Running of alum agitator paddles, drive motors, reduction gear pinion shafts etc. as necessary along with lubrication and minor re-alignment including replacement of fuse wires and all other maintenance of mechanical / electrical installations for all the 3 nos. agitators.

(b) (ii) Loading of alum cakes from the alum storage godown to the alum solution tanks by the help of alum hoist / manually along with lubrication and minor maintenance of alum hoist mechanical and electrical parts.

(c) Operation of the chlorinator and chlorine booster pump with continuous supervision of the functional aspects of each individual units including routine maintenance of mechanical and electrical installations as per instruction and satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge including hypochlorite dosing if necessary.(8 hours X 2 shifts in a day any time depending upon availability of power (normally between 6.00 A.M. to 10.00 P.M.)

(c) (i) Running of chlorinator with its ancilliaries including running booster pumps for 2 nos. chlorinators or running of hypochlorite dosing system along with lubrication and all other maintenance of mechanical / electrical installation for all the chlorinators, booster pumps, hypochlorite dosing system.

© (ii) Handling & changing of empty chlorine cylinder with skilled personnel keeping the same to the chlorine storage godown including minor maintenance of mechanical / electrical installations and proper maintenance of chlorine leak detector.
