Dismantling of single layer Mangalore pattern or similar tiles in roofing all as specified and directed.

M & L for roof tiles, Mangalore pattern class 'AA', interlocking at side joints, laid dry complete all as specified and directed.

Description all as per item No 2.00 above but except tiles.

M & L for Ridge or hip tiles to suit Mangalore pattern or roofing tiles, bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and any position all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete type C0 1:3:6 (12.5 mm graded aggregate) in roof kerbs or mud stops, or beading for tiles etc chamfered at edges complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing 15 mm thick rendering over roof slab in Cement Mortar (1:4) mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement, finished even and smooth surface without using extra cement all as specified and directed.

M & L for applying two coats of water proofing coating system by applying shalicryl-215 of STP Ltd/Rain coat 601 of DR fixit /Barrier coat of Araldite over a coat of respective primer including preparation of newly/old plastered surface by complete removal of existing treatment including filling of crack with respective crack filler all as per manufacturer's instructions all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and removing all the rubbish as directed by Engineer-in-charge complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for coloured glazed ceramic tiles (1st quality) of size 300 x 200 x (6 to 7) mm thick on vertical surfaces such as skirting, dado and risers to steps etc. including 10 mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:3 set and set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or colour cement to match the colour of tiles complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for non skid ceramic coloured tiles (1st quality) 7 to 8 mm thick (Square/ rectangular), area of each tile exc 0.11 Sqm but not exc 0.18 Sqm as in floors etc laid over and including 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 and set and jointed in neat grey cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match complete all as specified and directed.

Treatment of sunken floor slab comprising of the following specifications complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge:-

(i) M & L for cleaning the sunken/ lowered portion of RCC slab surface (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush, chisel out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely. 40 mm thick average PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5 mm graded aggregate as in padding conc to achieve proper slope. (ii) Rendering uneven surfaces with 6 mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @ 3% by wt of cement consumend. Fill it with water and check dampness and seepage. Where dampness/seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting carried out (WPC shall be measured and paid separately). (iii) All junction points of side wall where CI/GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty. (iv) After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean.

(v) M & L for applying two coats of polymer modified cementitious water proof coating as per manufacturer's instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level +100 mm height. The thickness of two layers shall be 1 mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed. (This item shall be measured and paid separately). (vi) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20 mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @ 3% wt of cement consumed as per manufacturer's specification including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout. (WPC shall be measured & paid separately) Note :- Test the water proofed area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hours and tested for leakage seepage to the entire satisfaction of GE. Test shall be done in presence of reps of PMG and record for each sunken slab shall be maintained. The treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicators of chemicals. Cost of testing is included in the rates quoted above. (vii) All pipes laid in sunken portion shall be covered with 50 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 all round after painting with anticorrosive paint (Black paint shall be paid separetely).

M & L for applying two coats of polymer modified cementitious water proof coating as per manufacteror's instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level +100 mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1 mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed.

Supply only Integral Water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC in 1:5:10 type E2 (using 40 mm graded agg) as in sunken floor of toilet complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or concrete surfaces of wall/ ceiling and likes including racking out joints, hacking for keys scrubbing down with water etc any description including removal of rubbish outside MD land, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: The rate quoted by the contractor is deemed to be included necessary scaffolding and form works.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick on brick or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:6) finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM (1:4) on fair faces of concrete surfaces and finished even and smooth without using extra cement and mixed with waterproofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement all as specified and directed.

M & L 10 mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in CM 1:3 as in ceiling complete all as specified and directed.
