SPL REPAIR TO POWER TRANSFORMER AND ALLIED WORKS AT OLD MRS UNDER GE (E/M) LUCKNOW

Disconnecting all electrical connection from transformer and dismantling the components of transformer for easly loading (making the transformer air tight, packing) and unloading of defective 5 MVA, 33/11 KV copper wound transformer from Old MRS Sub Stn to workshop and back incl installation, comissioning and testing after repair all as speified and directed. Make of Transformer : C&G Note:(i) Any damage during transportation/loading/unloading or at any stage occured contractor shall be responsible for that and damege shall be made good by the contactor at his own expenses. (ii) Transit insuarance will be made by the contractor before despatch of power transformer and necesary documents will be submitted by the contractor.

M&L for opening the top cover of transformer and carrying out the folowing work/repairs by speacialist technician/engineer at factory work shop :- (a) Removing of transformer oil from transformer into seperate container & filling the new transformer oil. (b) Taking out the core/coil of transformer (c) Cleaning the transformer inside properly by used transformer oil as per manufacturers guide line and painting with one coat zink painting as per manufacturers norms. (d) Ovening in vapour phase drying oven at factory workshop for 72 hrs. (e) Re-tanking and assembly of core coil (f) Replacment of bushing,spindle,oil level indicator, winding temp gauge, oil temp gauge, drain valve of transformer. (g) Refixing of the transformer top cover with ,gasket, nuts, bolts and washers (h) Repair of radiator & replacement of defective plate of core as per existing size.

Supply only gasket/hardware/consumables during the rectification work for 5 MVA, 33/11 KV transformer at Workshop complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for re-winging of HV leg copper coil wire with new tripple paper cover (TPC) as per specification of copper conductor for transformer of capacity 5MVA & matching with existing gauge and same number of turns including best quality insulation, varnishing by vaccuum impregnation and baking of coil assembly complete all as specified and directed to achieve designed voltage ratio all as per manufactures instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only transformer oil (Naphthenic) as per IS 12463 (1998) dielectric strength should be upto 60 KV breaking voltage complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only new HV bushing 33/37.5 KV for transformer 5 MVA complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only new LV bushing 11 KV for transformer 5 MVA complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only new LV spindles (metal part) of brass with nuts and washers for 5 MVA transformer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only new HV spindles (metal part) of brass with nuts and washers for 5 MVA transformer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only new silica gel breather unit for 5 MVA transformer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only new magnetic type oil level gauge for 5 MVA transformer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only new winding temperature indicator gauge with trip and alarm contacts for 5 MVA transformer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only new oil temperature indicator gauge with trip and alarm contacts for 5 MVA transformer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only new drain and filter valve for 5 MVA transformer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only new steel pressure plate (Total 06 Nos) for 5 MVA transformer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair earthing for transformer with 600x600x6.3mm galvanised steel earth plate electrode burried vertically in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate at a depth of not less than 1.5m below ground level, connected to and including GI strip of size 32x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts and check nuts and washers of galvanised steel (and 50 mm dia GI light grade pipe for protection of GI strip) to the extent of 7.5 meters as earthing lead and connecting to the equipment viz transformer etc charcoal dust and salt packed all around the earth, plate in the earth pit all as per electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I 2009 including PCC 1:2:4 type B1 with MS angle iron frame and CI cover with provision of locking arrangement and 20mm dia light grade GI pipe from top edge of the earth plate upto MS funnel with wire mesh provided inside the concrete earth pit for watering complete including excavation and earthwork in any type of soil strata and testing complete all as specified and directed Note: Copper strip/GI wire more than 7.5m will be measured separately. Note- (a) Test result should be less than 1 ohms (ii) Charcoal should be min 60 kg and salt 100 kg (iii) If result not come less than 1 ohms, contractor shall re do the test at his own cost complete all as specified and directed.
