Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep as in soft/ loose soil and getting out, trimming sides and bottom to required level/ slope, watering and well ramming for foundation etc. not exceeding 10sqm on plan complete all as specified and directed.

Brick work with sub-class `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius built in cement sand mortar 1:4 complete in and including demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc for the area where unservicable bricks retrived and removal of rubbish to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Servicable bricks retrived from demolition of this item shall be used after proper cleaning and washing of old bricks under item No.09.00 below.

Brick work with sub-class `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius (except bricks) built in cement sand mortar 1:4 complete in and including demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc for area where servicable bricks retrived and removal of rubbish to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Servicable bricks retrived from demolition of item No.08 and this item shall be used under this item after proper cleaning and washing of old bricks.

Plain cement concrete (1:4:8), type D-2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in sub base ,foundations, filling and mass concrete, in and including demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Plain Cement concrete75 mm thick type C-2, 1:3:6 by using 40mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in floor/hardstanding/Plinth protection etc ,laid in panels of approved size and finishing the surfaces of concrete topping even and smooth (without using extra cement) in and including demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- The concrete shall be laid at a stretch not exceeding 3 metre in length and width of joint shall not be more than 12mm.Quoted rates are inclusive of use and waste of formwork and to devide the area in panels.

Plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-0 by using 12.5 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in benching, coping in manhole including forming channels, finishing even & smooth (using extra cement) in and including demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Quoted rates are inclusive of use and waste of formwork .

Salt- glazed stoneware drain pipe grade ‘A’ 150 mm bore, ISI marked jointed with cement mortar (1:1) , laid in trenches and tested including pipe fittings such as bend, junction etc. of same grade in and inclding demolition and breaking up PCC and breaking up of existing drain pipes, (salt glazed stoneware/ AC/ reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar including bedding and haunching concrete and removal of rubbish to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Reinforced concrete pipes class NP-2 ,300mm Internal diameter of pipe conforming to IS laid in trenches and jointed in cement mortar 1:3 complete with collar in and inclding demolition and breaking up of existing drain pipes, (salt glazed stoneware/ AC/ reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar including bedding and haunching concrete and removal of rubbish to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in bed to 150mm dia SGSW /RCC pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of after they are laid and tested in trenches, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Vitreous China squating pan, 'Orissa' pattern, size 580x440mm white, with integral foot rests, including 100mm cast iron 'P' or 'S' trap and 100mm cast iron sanitary connection socket to fit WC outlet including connection to trap, to flushing pipe, anti-syphonage pipe etc. complete including making good to floor fixed as in repair , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in -Charge. Notes :- (i) Qty and Rates are inclusive of for both P type and S type Traps as on actual required basis on ground. Cleaning, desilting of manholes of dia 1.5metre to 2.0metre and depth exceeding 4.5metre but not exceeding 6.0metre from solid liquid/ liquid mud etc. including pumping out liquid and liquid sludge with pumping arrangements, labour and machine as required and removal of sludge/waste to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note for serial item Nos 54 to 61: Contractor shall arrange the sewage suction machine or sewage pump of minimum 5HP along with the equipments to clean the sewage line, MH, septic tank & soakage well etc. and cost in this respect shall be deemed included in the quoted rates of respective items and no extra payment on this account shall be made.

Cleaning solid/ liquid mud deposited in underground sewage lines upto and including 200mm bore of any type between consecutive manholes by hydraulic jet pressure machine through connecting manholes complete including men, machine and water as required including removal and refixing of manhole covers and removal of sludge/waste to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning solid /liquid mud deposited in underground sewage lines upto and including 300mm dia bore of any type between consecutive manholes by super suction machine through connecting manholes complete including men, machine and water as required including removal and refixing of manhole covers and removal of sludge/waste to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down existing PTMT/ SS grating for removal of blockage from floor/ Nahani traps including removal of white cement, complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (a) the work will be carried out on day to day complaint basic as recorded by the users in complaints register. The contractor/ rep of the contractor will collect the complaint slips from B&R complaint cell located near GE (AF) Chandigarh office by 9.00 AM and submit the compliance reports of the same each day by 1730 hrs after rectification failing which penal recovery @ Rs. 50.00 per complaint will be recovered from contractor's dues. (b) Urgent manpower for removal of blockage of any type may be required to be provided by the contractor in day or night (including on Sundays or holidays) on a short notice. If the contractor fails to provide manpower for the specific work, manpower for the same work will be hired from any other source for that urgent job by the department & shall be paid in full by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

Removing blockage from water closet (Indian or European type), urinal, WHB, Floor/ Nahani trap, gully trap etc. including getting out solid/ liquid/ foreign matter/ mud to make the sewage waste/ sludge waste flow free upto first manhole and removing the same in the hygienic manner to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (a) The work will be carried out on day to day complaint basic as recorded by the users in complaints register. The contractor/ rep of the contractor will collect the complaint slips from B&R complaint cell located near CWE office Chandigarh office by 9.00 AM and submit the compliance reports of the same each day by 1730 hrs after rectification, failing which penal recovery @ Rs. 100.00 per complaint will be recovered from contractor's dues. (b) Urgent manpower for removal of blockage of any type may be required to be provided by the contractor in day or night (including on Sundays or holidays) on a short notice. If the contractor fails to provide manpower for the specific work, manpower for the same work will be hired from any other source for that urgent job by the department & shall be paid in full by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

(c) Grating(s) removed during cleaning of blockage will be re-fixed in existing position with white/ grey cement after clearing of blockage from traps. (d) The contractor will ensure cleaning/ clearing of all the complaints (irrespective of No.) within 24 Hrs by deploying additional sewer man/ safaiwala if needed and Nothing extra will be paid on this account. (e) Contractor shall be solely responsible for supplying all the safety measures required by the sewer man/ safaiwalas during working hours. (f) All the waste material/ sludge shall be disposed off out of MoD land.

Cleaning of rain water harvesting pits by removing of broken bricks bats/ coarse aggregate of any shape and size from it and filling the same after cleaning of rain water harvesting pits and removal of rubbish to a place as earmarked by civic body for this purpose outside of MoD land, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
