REPAIR TO GROUND RUN POINT, TAXIWAY MARKING AND ASSOCIATED WORK IN TECHNICAL AREA AT AF STN OJHAR UNDER GE(AF) OJHAR

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15 cm thick above or below ground level and removal of entire debris as ordered outside MD land complete all as directed. (Notes: (i) Water sprinkling shall be carried out continuously during demolition to suppress dust.(ii) The demolition area shall be properly and closely barricaded to prevent the spread of dust and to ensure safety, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include all costs towards water sprinkling, barricading, debris handling, transportation, and disposal outside MD land).

Removing existing PU flooring by grinding, bringing to required level and surface finish to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including removal of debris as ordered outside MD land complete all as directed.

M&L for 5mm total thickness PU Flooring on concrete surface with the following specifications complete all as specified and as directed. (a) Roughening/ preparing the concrete surface substrata as required for base coat as per manufacrturer's instruction. (b) Laying of 1st coat primer (200micron) of (CIPOXY-18) with consisting of two component solvented epoxy resin based primer suitable for priming concrete surface before laying of the primer the surface drying & loose particles. (c) M&L for application of body coat 4.5mm thick of CIPOXY 17 with combination of base, sealant hardener mixed in ratio of base:hardner:Filler (aggregate) 2:2:8, 2kg per 1 sqm for 1 mm thickness. (d) Top coat of FK 333 300micron thick with glossy finish

M&L for repair of damaged/broken edges of existing expansion/groove joints (GRP) in taxi tracks, pavements, hardstandings, and other flexible pavement areas by carefully removing the existing sealing compound from the joints using suitable rakers to the full depth, as required. The joints shall then be thoroughly cleaned by compressed air to remove all dust, loose particles, and foreign matter. The removed sealing material and debris shall be collected and disposed ordered outside MD land & the prepared joints, 40 mm to 70 mm wide, shall be primed with a polyurethane-based primer and sealed with cold-applied, fuel-resistant polyurethane sealing compound (EPISEAL/CIPOXY-16 or equivalent approved product). The sealant shall be applied over a suitable compressible backer rod, wherever required, to maintain a uniform sealant depth of 20 mm, strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. (Note : The quoted rate shall include all materials, labour, tools and plant, joint preparation, primer application, supply and fixing of backer rod, sealant application, finishing, cleaning, disposal of debris out side MD land ).

M&L for repair to damaged/broken edges of joints in tarmac taxi tracks, pavements, hardstandings, and similar flexible pavement areas by carefully removing the existing sealing compound from the joints using suitable rakers to the full depth, as required. The joints shall be thoroughly cleaned by compressed air to remove all dust, loose particles, and foreign matter. The removed sealant and debris shall be collected and disposed of to a distance out side MD land & the prepared joints, 25 mm (±3 mm) wide and 20 mm deep, shall be primed with a polyurethane-based primer and sealed with cold-applied, fuel-resistant polyurethane sealing compound of approved make. A suitable compressible backer rod shall be supplied and fixed wherever required to maintain a uniform sealant depth of 20 mm, and the sealant shall be applied strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations & the finished level of the sealant shall be maintained 3 mm below the adjoining top surface of the tarmac pavement, hardstanding, or taxi track complete all as directed. Makes: M/s Choksey, Pidilite (Dr. Cipy), or equivalent approved make. (Note : The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of joint preparation, primer application, supply and fixing of backer rod, sealant application, finishing, cleaning, disposal of debris out side MD land ).

Scrapping/deletion of old runway/tarmac marking by mechanical means complete to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of previously treated surfaces by scrapping down with wire brushes to receive painting and painting lines,arrows, letters etc on road ,pavement, hard standing and the like not exceeding 10cm wide with two coats of water based exterior acrylic emulsion marking paint on a coat of primer in colours of white, yellow, red or orange as ordred by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preperation of surface of any description over 10 cm in width & paint Yellow / White / Red marking to be done with aromatic PU Coating , FK 666 as per manufacturer instruction complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Pavement quality concrete(PQC) of minimum 28 days field Flexural strength of 45Kg/ Sqcm or 4.5 Mpa, aggregate gradation as per Table 3 of IRC 15-2017, coarse aggregate of clean , hard strong, dense, non-porous and durable pieces of crushed stone or gravel, fine aggregates of clean natural sand or crushed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 360 kg/cum of cement with non-circular , virgin synthetic fibre of 12-18 mm length, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable, alkali resistant, with equivalent dia 15-40 micron, minimum melting temperature as 240°C and minimum tensile strength of 300 Mpa and at the rate as specified by the manufacturer. PQC laid, spread and compacted with slip-form paver of minimum 7.50 m width , including curing and tining by Texturing cum Curing Machine complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Required surface texturing to be done as specified in Clause10.1.14 and Table 9 of IRC' 15-2017).

M&L for 10 mm thick sand cushion with clean river sand duly clear of residual , organic and deleterious materials spread evenly to uniform thickness laid over PQC layer as specified and as directed. Note : No additionaI amount will be paid for overlap)
