Sub-Head : Concrete Work

Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor, etc., up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing :

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level in all shapes and sizes in :

Sub-Head : Flooring

Providing and laying rectified Glazed Ceramic floor tiles of size 300x300 mm or more (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of 1st quality conforming to IS : 15622, of approved make, in all colours, shades, except White, Ivory, Grey, Fume Red Brown, laid on 20 mm thick Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete.

Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in floor in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS:15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade, with cement based high polymer modified quick-set tile adhesive (Water based) conforming to IS: 15477, in average 6mm thickness including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc. The tiles must be cut with the zero chipping diamond cutter only . Laying of tiles will be done with the notch trowel, plier, wedge, clips of required thickness, leveling system and rubber mallet for placing the tiles gently and easily.

Providing and fixing Antistatic homogeneous poly vinyl chloride sheet of approved quality ( Wonderfloor or equivalent make ) in flooring on a smooth and damp proof base using rubber based adhesives of approved quality and manufacture like Dunlop S-758 Fevicol SR-998 or equivalent including cleaning, levelling & drying of base and rolling with light wooden roller weighing about 5.00Kg, connecting the carbon layers of sheets with copper strips of minimum size 75x25mm at ends of all joints and connecting the strips with copper wire of approved dia. for making earthing and seamless welding, in all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade :

New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm).

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :

One or more coats on old work.

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required, to achieve even shade and colour.

Sub-Head : Repairs to Buildings

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground , all complete as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge.

With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand).

Renewing glass panes, with putty and nails wherever necessary including racking out the old putty:

Float glass panes of nominal thickness 4 mm (weight not less than 10kg/sqm).

Hacking of CC flooring including cleaning for surface etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out existing wooden door shutter, repair by cutting, painting etc. and refixing of repaired door shutters to existing door frames, including replacement of hinges with screws, takingout & refixing of grills where required etc. as required, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system on the exterior side upto seven storey height made with best quality bamboo ballies 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal and vertical ballies joining with best quality coir ropes, 38 mm thick local hard wood planks for working platform and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.

Engaging labour for cleaning of open surface drains of any size, roof, terrace, chajjas at any floor at any height including all T & P, removal of debrishes, sullage and disposal all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Grinding , Cleaning & Polishing old Kota Stone floor by using polished machine with help of appropriate carbondum stone / Oxalic acid and to remove all dust and dirt from the floor surface and finally polishing complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Cleaning of wall and floor tiles of bath & toilet by applying appropriate cleaning agents like harpic / salt and vinegar / soap solution and scrubbing the surface using brush to remove all dirt / spots from the floor / wall surfaces and final cleaning by water complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

Cleaning of aluminium members and glazed panells with sponge or wet cloth using approprate cleaning fluid / agent and then squeegee from top to bottom to remove the foam to remove all dirt / spots from the surfaces complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge.
