Dismantling /taking out existing textile coverings including frames (if any) or hessain base felt or any other existing water proofing treatment from roof including cement plaster and exposing the top surface of RCC slab including removing of dismantled material etc. complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Roughening/cleaning surfaces of roof/top surface of RCC slab etc. with wire brush, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc. complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 (20mm graded agg) in padding for levelling course of roof, rounded or chamfered edge sloping, coving all around at the junction of parapet and the roof slab etc. concrete mixed with water proofing compound etc complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for screed bed 15mm thick using WPC on concrete surfaces on roof top in CM 1:3 finished fair and smooth (without using extra cement) complete all as speified and directed. (WPC shall be measured and paid seperately). Note: Water Ponding Test to be carried out after cement concrete/Plaster work for roof for min 72 Hrs

Material & Labour for water proofing treatment by applying oil bound bitumen primer, having a density of 0.87 - 0.89 kg/lit, at the rate of 0.40 ltr/Sqm, providing and laying 4 mm thick APP modified water proofing membrane weighting not less than 3 kg/sqm of approved make including minimum 10cm side lap and 15cm end lap, laid and pasted with blue flame torching applications and finally finishing with solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint at the rate of 0.1 kg/sqm complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for Plain cement conrete (1:2:4 ) type B-0 using 12.5mm graded aggregate as in roof kerbs or mud stops rounded or chamfered edges complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of single layer Mangalore pattern or similar tiles in roofing complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour roof tiles, Mangalore pattern class 'A', interlocking at side joints, laid dry complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for Ridge or hip tiles to suit Mangalore pattern or roofing tiles, bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for applying two coats of water proofing coating system by applying shalicryl-215 of STP Ltd or Rain coat 601 of DR fixit or Barrier coat of Araldite over a coat of respective primer including preparation of newly/old plaster surface by complete removal of existing treatment including filling of crack with respective crack filler all as per manufacturers instructions all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition of concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and removal of debris outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: (i) Before quoting the tender, the bidders are advised to ascertain the distance outside MoD land at which the excavated material/ debris are to be disposed off. No extra claim what-so ever shall be entertained on this account. (ii) This item shall be considered as per the requirement at site.

Treatment of sunken floor slab compriases of the following specifications and all as specified :-

(i) Material & Labour for cleaning the sunken/lowered portion of RCC slab surface (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush, chisel out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely. 40mm thick average PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5mm graded aggregate as in padding conc to achieve proper slope. (ii) Rendering of uneven surfaces with 5mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @ 3% BY WT OF CEMENT CONSUMED. Fill it with water and check dampness and seepage. Where dampness/seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting to be carried out (WPC shall be measured and paid separately). (iii) All junctions points of side wall where CI/GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty. (iv) After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean. (v) Material & Labour for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufacturers instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level +100mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1mm. When the second layer is still sticky,, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (This item shall be measured and paid separately). (vi) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @3% wt of cment consumed as per manufacturer's specification including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout. (WPC shall be measured & paid separately). (vii) All pipes laid in sunken portion shall be covered with 50mm thick PCC 1:3:6 etc complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Test the water proofed area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hours and tested for leakage seepage and to the entire satisfaction of GE. Test shall be done in presence of reps of PMG and record for each sunken slab shall be maintained. The treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicators of chemicals. Cost of testing is included in the rates quoted above.

Material & Labour for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufacturer's instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level+100 mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supply only Integral Water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for PCC in 1:5:10 type E2 (using 40 mm graded agg) as in sunken floor of toilet complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Taking up or down GI tubing and connections 15mm bore including cleaning or removal to store complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for digital coloured ceramic tiles 300x450x7-8 mm thick in vertical surfaces (including designed borders) such as skirting and dados set and jointed in neat cement slurry pointed in coloured cement to match over rendering 10 mm thick on fair faces of brick work in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Rate of Designer border in vertical surface shall be deemed to be included into quoted rate.

Material & Labour for non skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (Square/ rectangular), area of each tile exc 0.06 Sqm but n.exc 0.11 sqm (size of tile 300mm X 300mm) as in floors etc laid over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 and set and jointed in neat grey cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for Non Skid coloured ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thk (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exc 0.18 Sq.m but n exc 0.38 sqm (size of tile 600mm X 600mm) laid in floors with neat cement slurry @ 3.00 kg/Square Metre over and including 15 mm thick screed bed of cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement with pigment to match the shade of tiles etc complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer In Charge.

Material & Labour for Non Skid coloured ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thk (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exc 0.11 Sq.m but n exc 0.18 sqm (size of tile 400mm X 400mm) laid in floors / steps with neat cement slurry @ 3.00 kg/Square Metre over and including 15 mm thick screed bed of cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement with pigment to match the shade of tiles etc complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer In Charge.

Material & Labour for cement concrete tiles 25cm X 25cm X 22mm thick, machine pressed, (with grey cement & no pigments), set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors over and including 15 mm thick bedding layers in CM 1:6 all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down chowkats or frames exc. 1.5sqm but not exc. 4 sqm each but with shutter (without taking off shutter from the frame) including making good disturbed portion to match the adjoining surfaces etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
