Disconnecting and dismantling of DG set of 380 KVA carefully without damaging any parts and to be kept at site

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of diesel engine driven, water cooled, electrical start silent Generating Set 380 KVA capacity, 6/8 cylinders, liquid cooled, turbo charged with after cooler, developing 470 hp @ 1500 RPM, 4 valve per cylinder, electric start, compressor ignition, 4 sroke engine designed to run continuously at 1500 RPM confirming to time rating ISO-3046 standard with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in every 12 hrs of operation, diesel forms to present CPCB norms complete including common base plate, floor mounted , factory asembled complete fitted in and including acoustic enclosure (sound proof canopy of suitable capacity or size) alongwith standard manual panel approved by National Physical laboratory with inbuilt standard panel, in built fuel tank suitable capacity for 12 hrs running at full load continues running, with fuel lines of heavy duty MS pipe duly painted, including PCC foundatin / platform for generating set as per manufacture's instructions / conforming with drawing complete Make - Model No KG1-380WS of KIRLOSAR (KOEL Green) or Equivalent model of CUMMINS / GREVES COTTON / ASHOK LEYLAND all as specified and comprising with and including the following :- a) Flywheel with starter ring for generating set. b) Air filter. c) Lub oil cooler assembly with accessories. d) Exhaust air manifold. e) Expansion bellow. f) Fuel filter. g) Lube oil filter. h) Exhaust gas turbo charger with after cooler. i) Radiator with pusher type fan, with fan guard, coolant pump. j) 24 V ( 2 x 12V) electrical starting system with starter motor and battery charging alternator. k) In-line monoblock fuel injection pump with electronic governing & Iscchoronus capability. l) Bore x stroke - 130 x 150 mm. m) Engine cubic capacity - 15.92 ltrs. n) Engine mounting supports. o) Engine control panel - microprocessor based controller model 745. p) Engine safeties, alarms and trips. q) K cool super plus corrosion inhibitor coolant for cooling. r) Engine operator/ maintenance & spare parts CD. s) Engine warranty certificate and test cerificate.

(A) Alternator Alternator rated at 380 KVA, 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, 0.8 p.f. (lag), 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, in accordance with IS 4722 as per following specifcations : i) Type : Salient poles, single bearing, Brushless type, suitable for direct coupling engine. ii) Rating : Guaranteed to deliver reqiured output at the ambient temperature conditions of Bathinda. Suitable for an over load of 10 % for 1 hour in every 12 hour of operation. iii) Voltage regulation : Provided with fast response thyristor type electronic automatic voltage regulator, which holds output voltage within desired limits.(+/-1%). iv) Excitation : Self excited self regulated. v) Alternator loading : Suitable for taking rated load immediately after machine reaches rated voltage and speed. vi) Equipped with AREP ( Auxilary regulation Exiting Principle) winding to give performance equivalent to PMG as standard scope of supply. vii) Vibration: Suitable for direct coupling with Engine and mounted on common fabricated sheet metal base frame. viii) Enclosure: Screen protected drip proof enclosure with IP – 23 degree of protection. ix) Cooling: Air Cooled type with radial fan mounted on Rotor. x) Winding and Insulation: Insulation class H as defined in IS – 4722. (B) Diesel Engine Adequate capacity of diesel Engine of suitable BHP to give out put of 380 KVA by alternator , liquid cooled to drive independently above alternator and after considering duration as per site conditions generating and reducing power consumed by accessories. Directly coupled through flexible coupling multi-cylinder , multi stroke direct injection , cold starting 1500 RPM as per with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in any 12 hours continuous running complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation. Make– Model No DV8TA-G1 of KIRLOSAR (KOEL Green) or Equivalent model of CUMMINS / GREVES COTTON / ASHOK LEYLAND Note : Paid voucher for the complete DG set shall be from the same OEM only.

(C) ESSENTIAL ACCESSORIES Following set of essential accessories are supplied with each DG set:- i) One No. MS Base Frame suitable for mounting of the offered engine and alternator. ii) One No. fuel tank of standard capacity 850 litres complete fuel gauge, inlet/outlet connections, drains plug,etc. iii) Two No. 12 Volts DC Battery of suitable capacity with leads. iv) 1 Set of AVM Pads fitted in Base Frame. v) All above accessories are housed in acoustic enclosure

(D) MANUAL CONTROL PANEL The Control Panel body shall be fabricated out of 16 SWG MS sheet. Panel shall be suitable for inside Canopy mounting, indoor installation, Copper Control cable of suitable size and required length shall be used. Cables are ferruled for proper maintenance/checking/wiring of panel. Detachable cable gland plates are provided. The panel shall be equipped as follows: i) One No. Moulded Case Circuit Breaker of suitable capacity. ii) Aluminium Bus Bars of suitable capacity provided with termination. iii) 3 Nos. Current Transformers of suitable ratio. iv) One set of instrument MCB’S.

(E) Civil Works. : - All civil works related to foundation, installation of panel and equipments including making good of existing structure if disturbed during installation and commissioning of Gen Set . NOTE : (i) PCC foundation 1:2:4 , b-2 or DG Set including excavation and earth work as per manufacturers standards with drawing shall be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Necessary testing equipment and heater load/water load for testing before handing over the work (Phase I and Phase II test) shall be carried out by the contractor to the entire satisfaction of the Accepting Officer or any person authorised by him and the satisfactory results shall be kept in MES records duly signed by the Contractor, Engineer-in-Charge and Testing Officer. (iii) Phase I test shall be performed for 1 Hour without load after completion of installation by Engineer-in-Charge. (iv) Phase II test shall be performed for 12 Hours by the rep of Accepting Officer. (v) DHPP for the test will be arranged by the contractor on his own cost. (e) Supply and fix Acoustic Enclosure factory made floor mounted factory built modular in construction for Engine and Alternator consisting Acoustic panels of tubular / angular in section fabricated out of 16 SWG cold rolled steel sheet packed with 1.5 mm PVC film with 25mm thick PU foam of appropriate density so as to reduce noise level 75 db measured from a distance of 1 metre from enclosure as per the norms of pollution control board suitable for 380 KVA Diesel Generating set approved by OEM Make of Accoustic enclosure shall be as per OEM's Recommendation.

(F) AMF Panel : Supply, install, test and commissioning indoor type of automatic on mains failure type with necessary relays for automatic starting on mains failure type factory made as per manufacturing design and specifications - 01 Nos ( Note: 01 Nos of AMF Pane for existing 380 KVA Dg Set Kirloskar Make)

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of indoor type AMF panel, totally enclosed, dust, damp and vermin proof free standing floor mounted type and front operated. It shall be made in to sections such that as far as feasible, there is no mixing of control power DC and AC functions in the same section and they are sufficiently segregated except where there bunching is necessary. Hinged doors shall be provided preferably double leaf for access for routine inspection from the rear. All indication lamps, instruments meter etc shall be flushed in the front. All meter wiring shall be carryout using 1100V grade, 2.5qmm flexible PVC insulated copper wire. Suitable Bus bar extension shall be provided for terminating 400 sqmm 3.5 core cable both in the incoming and outgoing compartments. Specification of the AMF panel shall be as per manufacturing design and specifications for existing 380 KVA DG Set Kirloskar make and shall accommodate the followings :- (i) Aluminum Bus bar of capacity not less 900 Amps. (ii) 630 Amp MCCB, Ics = 100% ICU, 4 Pole contactor for alternator with Thermal O/L relay. (iii) 630 Amp MCCB, Ics= 100% ICU, 4 Pole contactor for mains. (iv) MCB for short circuit protection. (v) Microprocessor based AMF module incorporating functions, Supply failure timer, restoration timer, 3 Impluse automatic engine start/stop logic and engine fails to start lockout mains/ generator voltage and Frequency sensing. (vi) Additional feature : Combined meter for voltage/Amp/Frequency, combined meter for KW/power factor/KVA, Electronic KWH Meter (Counter display), current transformers. (vii) Earth fault relay (electronic type) (viii) Indication (LED) for DG on, load on DG, Main On, Load on Mains, Battery charger. (ix) Push Buttons (AMF Module by pass mode) Engine START/STOP, Generator trip, fault accept/reset. Note: All civil works related to foundation including making good of existing structure and electric work for installation, testing and commissioning of panel shall be included in quoted rates.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide, and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth in soft / loose soil for laying of cables and geting out complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of LT XLPE Cable of cross sectional area 400 Sqmm 3.5 core, suitable for earthed system stranded aluminium conductor , 1100 Volt grade , heavy duty with XLPE insulated PVC sheathed with Galvanized steel strip armoured , conforming to IS-7098 (Part-I) with latest amendments laid in trenches / fixed to wall / pole / laid in floor including necessary connections and suitable size of thimbling complete including taking out old cable complete all as specified and as directed (Note : Exacavation & earth work, cable cover / brick & sand cushioning shall be measured and paid for separately under relevent item of this BOQ.)

M & L for sand cushioning, with dry river and clean sand, for under ground cables in trenches, ducts for cable protection including consolidation, 80mm thick to the authorized width as per SSR-Part-1 before laying of cable and 150mm thick after laying of cable and punned down to 180mm after laying complete. Note :- Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose.

M & L for sub class 'B' , old size Brick , laid in trenches for cable protection , perpendicular to axis of cable including taking out old bricks / cable covers complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading , leveling, watering and well ramming in layers each not exceeding 25cm thick in soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx6.0mm buried directly in ground, vertically to depth not less than 2.25mtr below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at depth not less than 1.5 metre below ground level surrounded from all sides with alternate layers of charcoal and common salt and connected to GI strip of size 24 x 4mm by means of GI bolts, nuts washers & check nuts electrode connected to main switch board or main control board or on poles or on transformer and GI pipe medium grade 20mm bore for watering, 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade for protection of GI strip upto test point including providing funnel and wire mesh GI frame and 10cm thick suitably reinforced RCC pit cover, PCC chamber pit with PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregates complete including excavation and earth work in any type of strata, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr, all as specified and shown in Electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-1 (PCC pit shall be provided at least 50 cm away from the earth pit and not just on earth pit) including testing on completion complete.

M & L for 100mm bore GI pipe, light grade, with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in trenches or buried in ground for protection earthing lead wire complete all as specified.
