NIT 1328 QDP 1448 Procurement of ERS

Electrical Items :

Emergency Restoration System (One set comprising total 6 no. towers of 400KV i.e. 3 no. Suspension Towers and 3 no. Tension Towers) as per HVPNL Technical specification & scope of BOQ. Note- Total FOR amount should include two sets of ERS comprising total 12 no. towers of 400KV i.e. 6 no. Suspension Towers and 6 no. Tension Towers), necessary spares other equipment as per HVPNL technical specifications. The TOTAL FOR rates should be equal to the total rates of equipment in detailed BOQ of ERS attached.

Description of Work / Item(s)

The tenderer shall offer supervisory services, per event, for erection and commissioning of ERS. The tenderer shall quote their rates on event basis category-wise (i.e. for 400 kV, 220 kV, 132 kV & 66 kV transmission lines). The rates quoted should be valid for at least five years from the date of successful completion of supplies.) NOTE: To ensure the quoting of reasonable prices under "Supervisory Charges" the following is to be exercised while comparing the prices quoted by the firms/ bidders: 1. The occurrence of 2 no. events for each voltage level is to be considered during price comparisons as a standard reference. 2. The prices thus quoted by the tenderers are to be taken as a part of BOQ and the same is to be accounted for while preparing the cost comparisons for deciding the lowest bidder.

Required number of Empty 20 foot long Ocean cargo containers shall be supplied for storage of all other items except column sections, for transportation of the same to restoration site.
