Uprooting rank vegetation and weeds by digging the area to a depth of 60cm, removing all weeds and other growth with roots by forking repeatedly, breaking clods, rough dressing, flooding with waterm uprooting fresh growths after 10 to 15 days and then fine dressing for planting new grass, including disposal of all rubbish with all leads and lifts.

Digging holes in ordinary soil and refilling the same with the excavated earth mixed with manure or sludge in the ratio of 2:1 by volume (2 parts of stacked volume of earth after reduction by 20% : 1 part of stacked volume of manure after reduction by 8%) flooding with water, dressing including removal of rubbish and surplus earth, if any, with all leads and lifts (cost of manure, sludge or extra good earth if needed to be paid for separately) a) Holes 45cm dia and 45cm deep

Providing and laying Neelgiri/Mexican grass turf with earth 50mm to 60mm thickness of existing ground prepared with proper level and ramming with tools wooden (Dhurmos) and than rolling the surface with light roller make the surface smoothen and light waterning with sprinkler and maintenance for 30 days or more till the grass establish properly, as per direction of officer-in-charge.

Cutting of Hedge/Edge including removing of cut material, cleaning, hoeing of hedge/edge bed watering, manureing and applying insecticides and fungicides etc. (excluding the cost of material which shall be supplied by the department) and as per direction of officer in charge. Note : Cutting & Hoeing of Hedge/Edge to be carried out minimum once in a month or as and when required and applying insecticides / fungicides once in a Quarter or as and when required in a month as per the direction of the Engineer in charge. Cost includes all above operations in a month per sqm (Top plan area of Hedge/ Edge shall be measured for payment)

Topairy cutting/ shapping of plant removing of cut materials, cleaning, hoeing of plants complete design hoeing of trees (Topairy) watering manure etc. (excluding the cost of material which shall be supplied by the department) and as per direction of officer-in-charge. (a). Height of Topairy above 120 cm. Note : Topairy cutting/shapping to be carried out once or as and when required in a month as per the direction of the Engineer in charge. Cost includes all above operations in a month per tree.

Plantation of Trees, Shrubs, and Hedge at site i/c watering and removal of unserveiceable material’s as per direction of officer in charge (excluding cost of plant & water)

Pruning, trimming, shaping of trees /shrubs (ht 15 feet and above) i/c removal of cut materials upto 50mt. Lead, as per direction of officer in charge. T&P shall be arranged by the contractor.

Drawing water from sump and other necessary arrangements for supply of water up to point of Plant shall be done by agency. Cost includes all above operations per month per sqm of garden features. Area of Garden features including terrace area is around 4000sqm. However Contractor can visit the site and know the garden features and area covered before quoting. Topiary cutting and Hedge/Edge cutting shall be paid for separately.

Cleaning of Cascade including removing the dirt, Algae with the required Bleaching powder, chemicals etc., and relevant tools /plants, without any damage to the structure once in a month including operating the cascades for Half an hour as and when required on monthly basis all complete as directed by the officer in charge. ( Cleaning of Each cascade with all operations is measured as one job )

Supply of Horticulture pesticides,materials,etc for the Horticultural work and maintenance. ( The issue and consumption retgister shall be maintained at site and got it signed by the Engineer in charge and the agency authorised representative )

Vermi compost: Vermicast (also called worm castings, worm humus, worm manure, or worm faeces) is the end-product of the breakdown of organic matter by earthworms. Vermicompost contains water-soluable nutrients and is an excellent, nutrient-rich organic fertilizer and soil conditioner.

Neem cake: Organic manure protects plant roots from nematodes, soil grubs and white ants probably due to its residual limonoid content. It also acts as a natural fertilizer with pesticidal properties.

Dithane M-45 is a broad spectrum fungicide and is registered for the control of many fungal diseases (blight, leafspot, rust, downy mildew, scab, leaf blight, anthracnose) in field crops, fruits and vegetables etc.
