RRS ACTIVITY AND JOINT FILLING REPAIR WORK AND RSS RELATED WORKS ACTIVITY AND RUNWAY, DISPERSALPAINTING, BAY MARKING WORKS IN AIRFIELD AT TECH AREA AF STN GWALIOR

M&L for execution of Runway Rehabilition Scheme(RRS) within the time schedule as specified in particular specification and all as directed by Engineer-in-charge/GE/Air Force authorities. Note:- (i) The T&P,materials and manpower involved in the execution of RRS shall be measured and paid seperately in the respective items. (ii) Contractor will arrange tools,plants.labour and machinery as per CA for Runway Rehabilition Scheme(RRS) on short notice of within 06 Hrs. (iii) Contractor shall be transport IMDM Machine from MT Section to RRS location and return back at MT section after completion of RRS (iv) Contractor shall be clean/clear IMDM Machine within two hours/satisfaction of Engr-in -charge after completion of RRS exercise with no claim of contractor whatsover shall be considered if deployed tools, plants, labour for cleaning is required. (v) Building material as per contract shall be stacked at designated place as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (vi) No Claim of contractor whatsoever shall be considered if deployed tools,plants,labour and machinery remain idle/static for three days at work due to any administrative reasons. (vii) Contractor will also arrange for testing equipments for carrying out field testing in accordance with relevant IS.

Supply and stacking of crushed stone aggregate of size 63 mm near Runway inside Tech Area all as specifeid and directed.

Supply and stacking of crushed stone aggregate of size 40 mm near Runway inside Tech Area all as specifeid and directed.

Supply and stacking of crushed stone aggregate of size 20 mm near Runway inside Tech Area all as specifeid and directed.

Supply and stacking of fine aggregate(river sand) sand near Runway inside Tech Area all as specifeid and directed.

Supply and stacking of Quarried rubble stone or broken boulders of size 150mm to 300mm at location (near runway) decided by air force authorities complete all as specified and directed

Supply and stacking approved moorum near Runway inside Tech Area all as specifeid and directed.

Supply only Polyethylene film 400 micron thick near Runway inside Tech Area all as specifeid and directed.

01 x JCB Machine with rock breaker Heavy Duty (with one driver & one helper) including Fuel inside Tech Area all as specifeid and directed.

01 x Road Roller Vibration type (with one driver & one helper) including Fuel inside Tech Area all as specifeid and directed.

01 x Front end Loader (with one driver & one helper) including Fuel (min load carrying capacity 2.5 Ton) inside Tech area all as specified and directed .

PROVISION OF MANPOWER

Providing the services of unskilled manpower for 8 Hrs for loading & unloading materials and to execute the RRS exercise all as specifed and directed .

Providing the services of Masons for 8 Hrs all as specifed and directed.

M&L for preparation of existing joints by manually/mechanically raking out to depth of 20 to 25mm and width of joints 5 to 10mm,cleaning the joints with coir brushes and removing all the fine particles, cleaning to concrete surfaces and joints with the help of air compressor and removing away the existing sealing compound and all other loose materials to a distance exc 200 meter but n.exc 250meter as directed and provided a back rod of width 3-5 mm more than width of joints / debonding strip of width equal to joint width , applying primer to joint with light pressure and filling the joints with polyurethane base sealing compound (pitch free) ISI marked compound to a depth 10 to 12 mm including fixing masking tape to prevent edges of joints becoming dirty due to spillage of sealant complete all as specified and directed . M&L for repair of concrete slab or pavement damaged/spoiled edges/surfaces cut to rectangular section, removing all loose and foreign material and disposing off the same to a distance exc 200M but n.exc 500M and cleaning the surface and filling with epoxy resin all as per manufacturer's instruction including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed

M&L for repair of concrete slab or pavement damaged/spoiled edges/surfaces cut to rectangular section, removing all loose and foreign material and desposing off the same to a distance exc 200M but n.exc 500M and cleaning the surface and filling FLEXOPATCH-ELASTOMERIC CONCRETE all as per manufacturer's instruction including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for scrapping of existing water base paint/ reflective paint on rigid/flexible pavement of runway by manually with wire brush, steel scraper or mechanically and brooming down the surface including removal of debris outside the runway etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L for two coat of water base paint for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on bituminous/concrete surfaces exceeding 10cm width with Machine (Air/ Airless spray applications). Colour of Water base paint will be white, yellow, black & red as per the requirement in Air field complete all as specified and directed . Paint shall be conforming to IS-164 of Berger "Guideline RM 164" , Asian paints "Apcotrak IS" or equivalent as approved by GE. Specification of the machine is as under :- Graco line lazer 5900 with 2 guns, Graco line lazer 200HS, Wagner company or equivalent with same specifications.

Description all as per item no 3 here-in-before but one coat of retro reflective paint to obtain WFT 300 microns including drop on glass beads @ 350 grams per Sqm (TTB 1325 type III and having refractive index 1.9) . Paint shall be of Berger "Guideline Airfield WBR paint/Sigmark WB Airfield Paint" , Asian paints "Apcotrak WBR" or equivalent as approved by GE.

Description all as per item No 6 here-in-before but, including Black Border complete all as specified and directed

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud/rubber tyre deposits etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen of Grade VG-10 @ 10 Kg/10Sqm using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for two layer of dense bituminous mecadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber(Consolidated thickness 75 mm) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 100 mm (consolidated thickness) dense asphaltic concrete of using PMB - 40 (Elastomeric thermoplastic) laid in two layers(each layer 50 mm thick ) rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with binder content min 6% weight of total mix and coarse aggregates(grading-II) including filler as specified complete all as specified and directed.
