REPAIRS TO SEEPAGE LEAKAGE IN TOILETS BLOCKS INCLUDING REPLACEMENT OF TILING AND CONNECTED BR ITEMS UNDER GE ARMY JAISALMER AT MIL STN JAISALMER

M& L plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type by using 20mm graded stone agregate (50mm thick) as in flooring with water proofing compound @ 2% dosage (1kgs) in 50kg cement including demolition of cement concrete un -reinforced in ground floors and pavings n.exc 15cm thickness complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply of SBR based waterproofing compound @ 2% dosage by weight of cement (1kgs) of 50kg cement used to be mixed in cement concrete as water proofing and hardening complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for applying of two component elastomeric acrylic polymer modified cementitious waterproofing coating. SmartCare Dampblock 2K or equivalent with a consumption of 1.5 Kg/Sqm in 2 coats. Methodology- TESTING & GROUTING: Masonry surface under treatment should be fully cured prior to application. Fill the slab with water and check the water tightness. Mark the leaking points and treat them with cement injection grout mixed with non-shrink croutine accitive CLEANING: Clean the surface thoroughly using a wire brush/hand grinder to ensure the surface is free from dust, mortar & loose particles PRE-WETTING: Pre wet the surface adequately to make it SSD. MIXING: Add powder to liquid (2 parts powder & 1 part liquid by wt.) slowly while stirring. For bulk volume use mechanical stirrer. Keep mixing until a smooth homogenous slurry without any lumps is formed. Set the slurry aside for 5-6 minutes to allow the entrapped air to escape.

APPLICATION: Apply 1st coat of SmartCare Professional Damp Block 2K slurry mixture by brush or roller over the horizontal surface and take it all over the parapet wall to form a complete envelope coat. Let the 1st coat dry for 4-6 hrs. Apply the 2nd coat perpendicular to the ist coat. CONSUMPTION: The consumption should be approx. 1.5 Kg/m? in 2 coats. If required, the coating can be reinforced by embedding glass/polyester mess. CURING: Cure the coating by sprinkling water for 3-5 days. POST PONDING TEST: Perform water ponding test post curing. PROTECTION AND SLOPE BUILT UP: The coating must be protected by Brick bat coba or screed concrete admixed with SC Vitalia Neo. Ensure proper slope is built for this brick bat coba or screed layer. If used on vertical walls the coating must be covered with cement plaster admixed with Vitalia. If the size of the terrace is more than 1500 sq. ft., a geo textile sheet (min. 80 GSM) should be loosely laid before the coba/screed concrete is placed.

CORE CUT OUT/BORE PACKING: All the core cut outs/bores must be treated with cementitious grouts/non-shrink grouts. The periphery of the PVC pipes/ rainwater pipes should be sealed with SmartCare Hybrid PU sealant after the grout is set. All kinds of cracks, damaged portions and honey combs should be repaired with cementitious repair mortar or polymer modified mortar (Polymer: Cement: Sand) complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L broken bricks filling of gauge n exc. 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Glazed ceramic glossy finish tiles coloured in vertical surface 450X300X7mm in any pattern of light & dark/ highlighters tiles etc as approved, on vertical surfaces such as in skirting/dado etc, set and jointed in cement slurry over & including 10 mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) and pointed in white cement with pigment to match the colour of tiles including Dismantling, floor, hearth or wall tiling including CM (bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store & rubbish off the premises complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Non Skid ceramic tiles colour tiles 7 to 8mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry with epoxy grouting only including screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 for laying floor finishes including Dismantling, floor, hearth or wall tiling including CM (bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store & rubbish off the premises complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Work will be in patches or in bulk

Taking down cement plaster of any description, any thickness from external surfaces of walls/soffits etc. incl raking out joints, hacking for keys, scrubbibg down with water etc complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick readymade plaster on inner/outer walls with approved make by adding 17-19% of potable water by weight of material. For thickness above 15 mm it is recommended to be applied in multiple layers. Ready-mix plaster shall complies with IS 1661-1972, IS 2250-1965, IS 2402-1963 and confirms the Compressive strength @ 28 Days- 10-12 Mpa/ Bulk density- 1500-1600 Kg/m3 complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :The rate quoted by contractor shall include cleaning of surface, application as per instruction and scaffolding upto 20mtr height.
