Part A : Expense towards wages and leveries

Payment towards salary of 02 unskilled labour Horticulture Services at BKPL Kanpur (Total no. of unskilled workers to be engaged every year = 02 ). It includes Minimum basic wages (including additional payment), PF, ESI and Bonus.

Providing 2 sets of uniform (as decided by EIC) & 1 pair of good quality safety shoe and two pair of socks to each enganged worker every year. The contractor has to submit original bill, upon verification of which by EIC, payment will be reimbursed. (Total no. of unskilled workers to be engaged every year = 02 )

Overhead profit of contractor towards item number 1.1 and 1.2 of Part A

Part B: Horticulture works

Supplying and filling good earth for lawns & in plantation area, in layers not exceeding 20 cm depth in one operation including removal of debris/un-wanted material, consolidation, dressing, levelling and watering etc. complete as per dirction of Site Engineer / Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Volume of earth to be calculated for the payment shall be the volume of stacked earth after reduction by 20%.

Supply, stacking and mixing sludge manure with earth in required proportion and spreading sludge manure in lawn inclusive of charges of all duties, royalty, cost of carriage etc. upto any distance (sludge / manure to be measured in stacks and will be reduced by 8% for payment).

Supply, stacking and mixing cow dung/neem oil cake/Agro meal with earth in required proportion and spreading the mixture in lawn and or filling in specified areas inclusive of charges of all duties, royalty, cost of carriage etc. upto any distance cow dung/neem oil cake/Agro meal / manure to be measured in stacks and will be reduced by 8% for payment).

Grassing with approved quality doob grass in rows of 7.5 cm apart in either direction, in lawns etc. including watering and maintenance of the lawn for 30 days or more till grass forms a thick free from weeds and fit for mowing including supply and filling good earth, if required, during maintenance period (the good earth shall be paid separately under relevant item).

Digging holes and refilling the earth mixed with manure or sludge in the ratio of 2:1 by volume (2 part earth : 1 part manure) including flooding with water, removal of rubbish and surplus earth (if any), spraying with insecticides complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all materials, labour, tools, tackles etc. as per specifications and direction of Site Engineer. (cost of manure, sludge or extra good earth, if needed to be paid separately under relevant item).

a) Holes 0.6 metre deep and 0.6 metre diameter.

b) Holes 1.2 metre deep and 1.2 metre diameter.

Preparation of beds for hedging and shrubbery by excavating 60cm deep and trenching the excavated base to a further depth of 30cm, refilling the excavated earth after breaking clods and mixing with sludge or manure in the ratio of 8:1 (8 parts of stacked volume of earth after reduction by 20% : one part of stacked volume of sludge or manure after reduction by 8%), flooding with water, filling with earth if necessary, watering and finally fine dressing, levelling etc. including stacking and disposal of materials declared unserviceable and surplus earth by spreading and levelling as directed, within a lead of 50m lift upto 1.5m complete (cost of sludge, manure or extra earth to be paid for seperately),

Supply and planting sapling (not less than 45 cm in height and 60 cm c/c) of Casurina, Labrum, Gulmohar, Ashokas, Bottle Palm, Bougenvilla, Hibiscus, Roses, or other approved type of variety of plants, watering & maintenance for 30 days minimum complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all materials, labour, tools, tackles etc. as per specifications and direction of Site Engineer.

Felling trees of girth (measured at height of 1.0m above ground level), including cutting of trunks & branches, removing the roots up to 1.0m below ground level, filling approved earth, watering, ramming, stacking the serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material as directed by the Site Engineer with all labour, supervision, tools, tackles, equipment, etc. complete in all respects. Beyond 30 cm girth up to and including 60 cm girth

Felling trees of girth (measured at height of 1.0m above ground level), including cutting of trunks & branches, removing the roots up to 1.0m below ground level, filling approved earth, watering, ramming, stacking the serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material as directed by the Site Engineer with all labour, supervision, tools, tackles, equipment, etc. complete in all respects. Beyond 60 cm girth upto and including 120 cm girth

Cutting ,Trimming of branches of Trees,Big plants, Bushes etc. as per direction of Engineer in Charge
