Internal Civil, finishing & Plumbing work.

Brick Work- Providing, hoisting, laying and setting in position 150mm/230mm/300 mm thick AAC blocks in super structure above plinth level up to floor V level with RCC band at sill level and lintel level with approved block laying polymer modified adhesive mortar all complete as per direction of Architect / Engineer-in-Charge.

Doors and Windows.

Taking out existing wooden door shutter, repair by cutting, painting etc. and refixing of repaired door shutters to existing door frames, including replacement of hinges with screws, aldrops, door lock, etc. as required, all complete as per the direction of the Architect / Engineer-in-Charge. a) All Hardware should be as per samples approved by Architect. Providing and fixing following hardware items in brass finish (unless otherwise stated) including, fixing with appropriate screws and fasteners in brass/ stainless steel metal screws (Nettle fold or equivalent) wherever specified etc of approved make type and thickness : b) Providing and fixing the hardware complete in all respects with necessary pins, plates, screws etc (All fittings & fixtures shall be of Heavy duty brass of first quality) c) All hardware and hinges shall be of palladium or approved equivalent brand, all other hardware shall be of Hemco/Hardwyn or approved equivalent brand. d) Hinges : Railway type heavy duty hinges in brass Antique finish with stainless steel pins of diameter not less than 3mm and leaf thickness not less than 4mm (100mm x 35mm x 3mm ) Basic rate Rs. 125/- per No. e) All joints between civil work and aluminum frames shall be sealed and made air tight by applying Silicone sealant or equivalent as approved at Contractor's cost. f) all material shall be as per makes mentioned in NIT g) Tower bolts having bolt dia of 10mm in brass, in brass body 250mm long etc complete. Basic rate Rs. 300/- per No. h) Providing and fixing and repair rates will also be inclusive aldrops Basic rate Rs. 800/- per No., tadi Basic rate Rs. 500/- per No., handles Basic rate Rs. 300/- per No., stopper Basic rate Rs. 75/- per No., etc. all complete.

Flooring, Dado, Skirting, Coving.

Providing and laying 25 mm thick Kota stone slab flooring in patch work over 20 mm (average) thick base laid over and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab, including rubbing and polishing complete with base of cement mortar 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)

Mirror polishing on marble work / Granite work / stone work where ever required to give high gloss finish complete.

Providing and laying matt finished vitrified floor tiles in different sizes with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS: 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/ sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete.

Size of Tile 600x600x10 mm. (for flooring & dado / skirting)

Providing and laying combination of commercial marble and Baroda green marble slab 16 - 18 mm thick as per drawing, in one piece stone slabs max. upto 2.25 M. long for window jambs / door frame, in two pieces to form rebate for shutter with 50 mm over lap, with rounded / chamfer exposed edge, with providing backing plaster of 1:4 cement mortar, including cement float with minimum cement paste about 2 kg/sqm on bedding, filling joints with neat cement slurry, providing and fixing Fisher or equivalent anchor fastener wherever required, curing, polishing exposed edges and cleaning, at all leads, lifts, etc., complete. ( measurement will be taken plain width without considering overlap ). ( basic rate of Baroda green marble Rs. 120/- per Sft. )

a) On 150 mm. thick wall with both side plaster.

Providing and laying Baroda Green marble slab 16 - 18 mm thick skirting fixed flush to plaster, 100 mm. high in rooms and passages, with providing backing plaster of 1:4 cement mortar, including cement float with minimum cement paste about 2 kg/sqm on bedding, filling joints with neat cement slurry, curing, at all leads, lifts, etc., complete. ( basic rate Rs. 120/- per Sft. )

Providing and laying machine cut, machine polished, 16 to 18 mm thick Telephone black Granite for top and facia patties to hand wash trough, 450 mm wide and 350 mm. deep, fixed with a bed of cement mortar 1:4 mix, including making zaries and filling the same with cement mortar, cleaning, curing, providing moulding, polishing exposed edges and moulding, making hole for bottle trap including grouting the joints with white cement mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, etc., complete. ( Basic rate Rs. 200/- per Sft. )

Finishing.

PLASTERING AND POINTING Notes : 1) Scaffolding for plastering shall be of self supporting type. Holes will not be allowed, to be made in the masonry or RCC work for anchoring the scaffolding. 2) Only River Sand should be used. However washing of sand in rotary screw type washing machines is a must. 3) Mortar for plastering work shall be machine mixed in a mortar mixer or concrete mixer. Hand mixing of mortar will not be allowed. 4) The rate for plastering shall also include providing and mixing/ applying an approved bonding agent as per direction of Architect / Architect / Engineer-in-Charge, and also applying approved hack-aid on surface receiving plaster. 5) Only 53 grade cement shall be used. 6) Rate should be inclusive of scaffolding and curing shall be started as soon as the plaster has hardened sufficiently not to be damaged when watered. 7) Rate should be inclusive of making grooves, pattas, wattas, rounding of corners, at all leads and lifts.

(CEMENT PLASTER (IN COARSE SAND).

Providing and laying 6mm thick cement plaster to ceiling of Cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement 3 fine sand), curing etc complete.

18 mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12 mm thick cement plaster 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) finished with a top layer 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand). 18 mm cement plaster of mix to walls.

18 mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12 mm thick cement plaster 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) finished with a top layer 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand). 18 mm cement plaster of mix for jud plaster above skirting upto 150 mm. wide.

Providing and applying putty of 1mm thickness over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth including providing & applying Plaster of Paris (POP) rendering over any surface upto 15mm thickness for walls beams at all heights including scaffolding staging etc, complete.

Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface complete

Finishing ceiling and walls with 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives. New work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm. Over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture

Demolition Work.

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Architect / Engineer-in-charge.

Transporting Debris outside premises as per direction of Architect / Engineer-in-charge including loading unloading, obtaining necessary permission from authority, cleaning of site, etc complete

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Architect / Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs, including existing Treads and Risers, laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 metres lead.

Demolishing brick bat coba in toilet sunken, terracing and disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Architect/Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing existing PVC, G.I. & C.I. Pipe lines of different diameters along with fittings and fixtures, plugging the pipe lines, handing over to owners, etc., complete. ( Rate includes - all tools & tackles, loading & unloading, transport, scaffolding - single / double, sorting & stacking at any lead & lift as instructed by Architect/Engineer-in-Charge)

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead as per direction of Architect/Engineer-in-Charge

Removing existing electrical fittings and fixtures, along with wiring and switch boxes of pump house and booth, handing over to owners, complete. ( Rate includes - all tools & tackles, loading & unloading, transport, scaffolding - single / double, sorting & stacking at any lead & lift as instructed by Architect/Engineer-in-Charge)

Sanitary and Plumbing Work.

Internal Drainage Work.

Providing and fixing P.V.C. Soil / Waste water Pipes and having wall thickness of 3.2 to 3.8 mm conforming to I.S. 13592-1992 including P.V.C. plug bend, necessary fittings such as bend, tees, single junction, double junction, slotted vent offsets on walls or in the ground including fixing the pipe on wall using approved wooden cleats projecting 25 mm to 40 mm from face of wall and fixing with clips of approved quality and number, filling the joints using rubber gasket with solvent cement including necessary scaffolding. All the PVC pipes, fittings, clips, etc shall be got approved from Architect/Engineer-in-Charge etc. complete.

Providing and fixing P.V.C. Rain Water Pipes 100 mm. dia and having wall thickness of 2.2 to 2.7 mm conforming to I.S. 13592-1992 including proper rain water receiving recess with P.V.C. plug bend, necessary fittings such as offsets, shoes including fixing the pipe on wall using approved wooden cleats projecting 25 mm to 40 mm from face of wall & fixing with clips of approved quality & number, filling the joints using rubber gasket with solvent cement and properly resting the shoe of pipes on C.C. or masonry blocks, including necessary scaffolding. All the PVC fittings and additional two piece socket clips shall be got approved from Engineer in charge etc. complete.

Providing and fixing heavy quality P.V.C. nahani trap 100 mm. dia. inlet and 100 mm. dia. outlet of self cleansing design without anti-siphonage horn, including making joints air and water-tight, providing and fixing P.V.C. grating, making necessary connections to waste water pipe, scaffolding, etc., complete.

Providing and fixing approved make White Vitreous China European type Wall Hung W.C. Pan with necessary brackets, of makes as per NIT, including providing and fixing flush valve, CPVC flush pipe of required diameter from flush valve to W.C. pan, Brass C.P. hinge, Rubber buffer, black plastic seat and cover, making chases in wall, floor wherever required and making good the same, etc., complete.

Providing and fixing 40 mm dia. Flexible P.V.C. waste pipe for sink or wash basin including P.V.C. waste fittings complete.

Water Supply :

Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement, trenching, refilling & testing of joints complete as per direction of Architect/Engineer-in-Charge. External Drainage. Providing, laying and jointing glazed stoneware pipes class SP-1 with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:1 (1 cement : 1 fine sand) including bends, T and connection with pipes, testing of joints etc. complete. The rate should include excavation, removal of existing pipes & encasing etc.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) all-round S.W. pipes including bed concrete as per standard design.

Waterproofing Work.

Waterproofing work for WCs, bathroom etc., by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying : (a) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/ sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours. (b) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.126 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours. (The rate includes preparation of surface, treatment and sealing of all joints, corners, junctions of pipes and masonry with polymer mixed slurry.)

Providing & fixing light weight non woven geo textile membrane sheet of 45-50 gsm for waterproof coating for toilet sunken portion as per the manufacturer's specification as directed and covering the whole treatment with 10 years Guarantee on requisite Stamp Paper, etc., complete.

Providing and filling light weight ( siporex ) coba in sunk portion of W.C.'s and bath with waterproof cement mortar 1:3 mix with waterproofing compound @ 1 Kg / bag, including all lead and lift, etc., complete.

Structure Repairs

Chipping / removing loose concrete upto reinforcement bars, without damaging the reinforcement removing all the loose materials and to make all the exposed surfaces free from oil, dust and all impurities etc complete.

Providing and applying Polymer modified cement mortar of average thickness 20 mm using Polymer in one or more layers in proportion 1:5:15 of Polymer : Cement : Quartz Sand, as manufacturer's specifications in specific layers, curing the surface after 72 hours of application with wet gunny bags, etc. and by finishing the surface with 12mm thick, 1:3 mix Cement sand plaster, including cleaning reinforcement bars with Rustiside, etc., Complete as directed.

Providing and laying M15 grade concrete for New Lintel over Bathroom Door inlcuding shuttering, reinforcement, curring, etc. complete as per instructions of Architect/Engineer-in-Charge

Providing & Using Microconcrete for hollow areaof Concrete, including cleaning the the surface applying bond coat, also including shuttering, finishing etc complete.

Electrical Work.

Light fittings and fans

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 12 watt LED light fixture complete with thermal management, electrical connections with 3C-1.5 sq.mm. flexible copper cable, earthing, fixing and mounting accessories etc. The driver shall be constant current /constant voltage output, power factor more than 0.95, THD less than 10%, 2.5/3kV over voltage protection and radio frequency noise suppression circuit. Driver safety requirement standards : IS 15885-2-13. Certification: LM 79 for LED luminaire and LM 80 for LED source. The CRI shall be greater than 80%. Test certificates to be submitted. Each light fitting shall have minimum system output of 100 lumens/ watt and system wattage to be reduced without compromises.
