Provision of DG Set 50 KVA capacity against BER DG Set 50 KVA held at ICGS Mandapam under GE (I) (CG) Chennai

Supply,install ,test and commission Diesel Engine Driven Outdoor Type Generating set of 50 KVA capacity ,415 Volts, 3 phase, 4 wire engine ,Prime Power ,1500 RPM ,radiator cooled as per IS-10001/10002 and alternator ,50 KVA/40 KW as per IS-13364 complete with Relay Panel and switch gears for automatic starting on Main Failure Control panel including provision of AMF panel having meter and sound proof canopy as per CPCB norms with the following specifications : (i)Diesel Engine – The engine shall be vertical multi cylinder 1500 RPM radiator cooled with water pump assembly battery charging alternator of suitable instrument panel, electronic governor starting battery heavy duty with leads (as recommended by the manufacturer) suitable size and length of exhaust pipe with necessary cladding materials, exhaust coupling inside acoustic enclosure/canopy, silencer and exhaust pipe above canopy all as specified by OEM and all other standard fitting fixtures all as per OEM specification complete as per BS 5514 & suitable BHP for generator. (ii)AC Alternator :- The AC alternator (Generator) shall be designed for an out put of 50 KVA /40 KW, 50Hz Brushless at full load for continuous rating & 10 % for over load for one hour at 0.8 (lag) PF conforming to BS-5000 part 99/IS 4722 including self excited and self regulating screen protected, standard panel with all accessories cable terminal box suitable size of glands earth terminal etc complete all as per OEM specifications .

(iii)Fuel (Services) Tank :- The fuel tank shall be built in type and shall include fuel level indicator fuel piping internally with the necessary piping as recommended by manufacturer from tank to engine and for over flow etc, and supplying semi rotary pump hand driven manually operated suitable to pump diesel up to 10 feet height ft comp[ete. (iv)Unit rate quoted shall deemed include the Control cable of suitable rating/capacity from DG set to AMF panel, DIESEL OIL, LUB OIL, COOLANT FOR RADIATOR ctc for smooth functioning of DG SET and testing at fy premises and at site during PH I & PH II complete testing including cost of filling of fuel in phase test testing, topping of LUB OIL, COOLANT FOR RADIATOR etc required for commissioning and testing of DG set. Inverter 100 W capacity of reputed make and Two lights as recommended by the manufacturer with all accessories with necessary connections and wiring from DG set Battery inside the acoustic enclosure. (v)Provn of CPCB approved Acoustic enclosure composites type for Generator set. (vi)Rubber mat of size 1 mtr x 2mtr 16mm thick. (vii)Training to department staff shall be given. (viii)Operation and Maintenance manual and test certificate for Engine, alternator andacoustic proof enclosure. Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation for foundation of DG set n.exc 10 sqm on plan and getting out in soft/Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate ) as in mass concrete for foundation filling of base for DG set including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate ) for coping work over DG set foundation including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling the old unserviceable LT Panel board and taken as credit and Supply,Fabricate ,Test and Commission outdoor Type ,weather,dust ,water and Vermin Proof LT Electrical Panel Board ,totally enclosed with front opening hinged doors with plain top projected manufactured by CPRI approved manufacturer ,1100 Volts Grade ,50 HZ , AC supply fully compartmentalised for cable chamber and bus bar chambers with adequate space made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet for load bearing viz : all over body, front and back cover with aldrop with DC locks and one number seven lever Navtal lock etc complete with 1 mm thick FRP coat all over the external surfaces and 2.0 mm thick CRCA Sheet for non load bearing portions and applying two coats of powder coating weather proof synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on all exposed steel surface including with suitable MS angle iron / flat iron frame /Bottom support MS channel of size 50 mmx50mmx6 mm as base and chamber for metering equipment complete suitable for mounting following switch gears items internally connected with suitable capacity Aluminium strip/Rods insulated and FRLS copper conductor complete mounted on PCC Pillar foundation ,cable connection using new lugs and Danger Board comprising with the following items : (a) LED/Neon indicator Bulb in RYB colour -01 set, Make: Philips/CG/Surya, (b) 4 No LT Aluminium Bus Bar for 3 phase,415 Volts of capacity 400 amps with chamber .

Material and labour for Earthing with Galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 6.0mm thick buried directly in ground vertically ( not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level , earth plate surronded from all sides by 15cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connections by using Galvanised strip 25x 4 mm as earthing lead(upto the body of existing panel) by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made up of galvanised iron and thimbles and protected by medium 15mm dia GI pipe connected to main switch board or main control board or equipment and GI pipe medium grade 20mm bore for watering and including funnel,wire mesh,RCC pit cover and PCC chamber pit with PCC(1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate,including excavation and earth work in any type of soil,returning,filling in approved soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m all as specified and shown in Electric Plate No 3 of SSR 2009(Part-I)complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay cable XLPE Insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with Stranded aluminium conductor of size 3.5 core 70 Sqmm including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed. Make: GLOSTER/CCI/ASIAN/UNIVERSAL Note: Excavation, earth work and cable protection shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and lay cable XLPE Insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with Stranded aluminium conductor of size 3.5 core 95 Sqmm including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed. Make: GLOSTER/CCI/ASIAN/UNIVERSAL Note: Excavation, earth work and cable protection shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and lay cable XLPE Insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with Stranded aluminium conductor of size 3.5 core 150 Sqmm including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed. Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation for taking out/ laying of cables etc n.exc 10 sqm on plan and getting out in soft/Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning,filling in trenches including spreading,levelling ,watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in Soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil n exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc.1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and spread clean river sand in trenches including levelling, punning for cushioning of cables 08 cm below and 15 cm above the UG cable complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Punned thickness of M sand cushioning shall be measured and paid.

Supply and lay fly ash bricks size 230mmx115mmx75mm laid on sand cushioning for protection of cable keeping width of the brick parallel to the length of the cable flat in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Galvanised iron pipe of 80 mm dia bore , medium grade with all fittings laid in road crossings/Path and in pole up to junction box including necessary fixing with MS Clamp etc complete all as specified and as directed.. Make:Tata/Jindal/Prakash Surya

Material and labour for cutting the existing bituminous road / cement concrete surface , 150 mm thick to the required width and depth for laying GI Pipe and making good the disturbed area with PCC 1:2:4 using 20 mm graded aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.
