Repair/resurfacing of internal roads, interlocking path/ hardstanding, berms and road furniture in OD Complex AGE B/R-II of under GE (E) Mathura

M&L for repairs to pot holes, not exc 1 square metre each, including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, on existing road surfaces, and making good applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 sqm of paving bitumen (VG-30), blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping, depth of pot holes exc 30mm, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Job mix formula of premix bituminous macadam shall be approved by GE.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud and bushes near road side etc including sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaning surface free from dust and mud, sunken surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt existing road surfaces, and making good applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, over paving bituminous macadam or black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing, laying, spreading 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) of premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on Job mix formula with 5.0% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled drum type hot mixing plant, laying, spreading uniformly by means of Mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller and Vibromax roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) The work shall be executed as per design mix approved by GE. (ii) Paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 for semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be used and shall be procured by the contractor under his own arrangement and at his own cost. (iii) Cost of all the materials, T&P, labour etc. required for preparation of surfaces, providing and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete including procurement of bitumen as specified here-in-before, stone aggregates & sand etc., rolling and all other elements required for entire completion of the job shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item. (iv) Bituminous concrete shall be mixed in drum type hot mix plant, transported from plant to work at site and laid/spread by means of mechanical paver finisher. (v) Filler for bitumen concrete shall be OPC grade @ 2% of total mix. (vi) Contractor shall quote his rate on the basis of binder as mentioned in this item. If there is any minus variation in the actual binder content used as per design mix approved by GE, the rate shall be adjusted as per invoice submitted by contractor per Kg of binder used. However no price adjustment shall be made if the binder content works out to more than as specified in this item.

M&L for preparing bitumen surfaces of road and marking 1.5-2mm thick painting compound of white / yellow (lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on newly or previously treated road surfaces) not exc 10cm wide on bitumen road/pavement & on concrete surfaces using hot processor plant & managing traffic control with road safety spikeries glass beads including preparation of newly or previously treated road surfaces and applying paint by using special applicator machine with heating arrangement complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F metal tubular delineator with ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA (Polymethyl Methacrylate) and mounted on mild steel pipe of 50mm dia duly powder coated, anti rust & anti theft steel net, overall 600mm height, delineator shall be fixed in plain cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block of size 300x300x350mm deep, including necessary excavation & earthwork, complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable / broken delineator of any type.

Supply and fixing cat eye reflective type of metal body alloy of size 110mm x 120mm x 24mm with PAMA striplens reflector fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer’s instructions including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable / broken road stud / cat eye of any type complete all as specified and as directed.

Roughening / cleaning existing concrete surfaces by brushing with wire brushed for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in sub base, floors and pavings etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-30 grade locally available best quality as approved by GE confirming to IS 15658-2006 with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand, complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Shape of paver blocks shall be as approved by the GE.

M&L for removing existing interlocking paver block of any thickness and refixing over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand, complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete complete all as specified & as directed.
