Operation & maintenance of AC Plant with DG set comprising of below mentioned items in note, round the clock in SUMMER , MONSOON and WINTER season including on Sundays & holidays for cooling/Heating to achieve desired temperature and other conditions thorough out the period at following installations:- (Total 03 shifts with one Refrigeration Mech in each shift) (a) AC Plant 275 SU (b) DG Set 82.5 KVA -01

Note for Serial item No 1.00 to 6.00 :- Rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be inclusive of following :- (a) AC plant comprising of compressor, motors, condenser, AHU, refrigerant piping, electrical panel board, pipe lines, ducts, cables, cooling tower, strip heaters, DG set etc & other connected parts installed for smooth & efficient performance of AC plant to achieve desired ambient temperature conditions throughout the period. (b) DG set shall comprise of complete set including alternator, motors AMF panel etc and other connected items for smooth & efficient performance of DG set throughout the period. (c) Maintenance shall be as per periodical maintenance schedule ( i.e daily, weekly, monthly & seasonal) (d) The attendance register of all the operators will be submitted by the contractor on weekly basis to GE with signature of Engineer-in-charge and JE concerned (e) Log sheet of AC plants/DG sets duly maintened as per prescribed format will be submitted to E/M sub division on daily basis duly signed by the concerned users. (f) Qualification of refrigiration mech/electrician should have ITI or above including three years experience in refrigiration/electrician works.

Note for Serial item No 1.00 to 6.00 Contd/.... (f ) The contractor will ensure daily cleaning of plant Room and surrounding area of the installation ie. upto 05 metre around bldg and for all fenced installations within the installation fence. Dusting/sweeping & mopping shall be done daily. Stores/expendables as deemed fit shall be responsibility of contractor. Disinfactarent (toilet cleaner/floor cleaner) shall be used during mopping as a daily practice. (g) The opration and maintenance includes replacement/fixing of minor spare parts required for smooth functioning of plant spare part issued by department, if not available to be arranged by the contractor for smooth running of equipment (h) Contactor will provide reliver for weekly rest at all installation by providing one reliever of same trade. (j) It is the responsibilities of Contractor to maintain the required humidity and temperature at all times. (k) It is the responsibilities of Contractor to rectify the damage/repair occurred due to negelegincy of the plant being operated by the operator.

Note for Serial item No 1.00 to 6.00 Contd/.... (l) Proper uniform, label containing name plate of the operator and safety shoes as approved by Engineer-in-Charge shall be worn by operator on duty. If any operator found in improper uniform and or found without proper name plates contractor shall be liable to pay penalty at the rate of Rs 150.00 per shift of 8 hours per person. (m) Proper facilities for sitting/ rest area shall be the responsibility of contractor. (n) Operator on duty shall not be allowed to leave the installation without reliever. Any operator found absent from duty a recovery of Rs. 150/- per hour per installation for the period of absent will be made from the contractor. (o) First aid box kit with required medicines will be properly maintained by the contractor at all installations.

Note for Serial item No 1.00 to 6.00 Contd/.... (p) Generator set will be operated on the failure of electricity supply or as directed by Engineer in Charge. Contractor shall be responsible for removal of minor faults such as air lock in fuel supply, leakage of fuel, cleaning of fuel tank, tightening of connections of batteries, dynamo and self starter etc. (q) All the installations will be maintained neat and clean with removal of grass/ bushes on daily basis. (r) Contractor will submit details of deployed manpower along with qualification certificate such as ITI certificate (Refrigeration/Electric) for qualified personnel and and alongwith experience certificate for three years for skilled personnel, within fifteen days from the date of commencement of work to GE duly verified by Engineer-in-Charge. A minimum ratio of one is to three be maintained for ITI qualified personnel to skilled tradesmen. Contractor shall be liable to pay penalty at the rate of Rs 100.00 per person per day if required qualification certificates of deployed manpower not submitted after fifteen days from the date of commencement of work.

Note for Serial item No 1.00 to 6.00 Contd/.... (s) Duty roaster for deployment of manpower installation wise will be prepared by the contractor and submitted to Engineer-in-Charge for verification. (t) The payment of contractor’s employees will be made through Nationalized bank account of individual only. Contractor will submit the payment proof i.e. passbook of bank account (showing the payment entry of every month from the date of commencement onwards till completion of work) at the time of submission of RAR and final bill. Contractor’s shall ensure minimum fare wage as applicable of his employees and proof of payment duly verified by Engineer-in-Charge shall be submitted at the time of submission of RAR and final bill. No RAR/Final bill will be paid without submission of proof of payment.

Note for Serial item No 1.00 to 6.00 Contd/.... (u) Contractor shall upload copy of registration certificate of his firm with Employee Provident Fund organization while uploading of tender documents. It is a mandatory requirement and tender will be rejected in case of non submission of EPF registration certificate. Contractor will maintain all necessary documents regarding deposit of Provident Fund of employees during currency of contract period. It will be the responsibility of contractor to follow the rules and regulations of Employee Provident Fund organization strictly. (v) Daily inspection report as per prescribed format will be submitted to GE by contrctor duly signed by user, Engr-in-charge and JE concerned. (w) Operating staff shall wear uniform of white colour or as approved by GE (x) Contractor will be responsible for collection and consumption of fuel. for running of DG Set in AC Plants while Break Down of electricity supply. Transportation of fuel shall be the responsibility of contractor. Proper record/ log book of running of DG set shall be maintained by the contractor duly singed by JE and Engineer-in-Charge. Any consumption without run of DG Set will be recovered at double the market rate from contractor’s dues. Fuel shall be issued through issue vouchers duly signed by contractor and concerned staff at the time of collection of POL. (y) Switch on/off the security lights are in the surrounding area of the AC plants and DG sets as per time schedule fixed by the Engineer-in-Charge (z) Constractor shall arrange mobile set for inter commucication with all and mobile bill shall be born by the contractor.

(aa) Requirement of T&P for day to day maintanence of refrigeration mech like piler, screw driver, test lamp, tong tester, temperature meter, humidity meter, first aid box etc are arrange by contractor for each plant. (ab) Bidders shall note that, while quoting the rate in BOQ and requirements specified in tender documents and particular specification, the quoted rate shall not be less than minimum fair wages as per Govt order strictly. If the quoted rate found less than minimum fair wages, the bidder has to submit his consent in writing on Rs 100/- bond paper to fulfill the requirements before acceptance of bid.

Disconnecting, dismantling the defective three phase induction motor 415 Volts 50 Hz 1440 RPM for following capacities and re-winding with super enamelled copper wire of best quality of existing size/gauge and weight including replacement of insulation material, varnish, bearing, connection plate and all other petty items required to make motor functional and re-assembling the motor including installation commission and testing on full load all as specified and directed.
