MS Tube Details:The space frame used complies of MS Circular tube sections of nominal bore NB 200, NB 100 of thickness 10T, 8T, 6T, 4.8T as evolved in approved design. The Mild steel circular tubes used in space frame should be painted using epoxy rich primer of 2 coats and PU paint of 2 coats as colour approved by the Executive Engineer.

Elastomeric Bearing Pads (Neoprene Rubber pads) of thickness 25mm have to be sandwiched between two sets of base plates have to be anchored to the concrete ring beam u sing J-bolts of dia 20 YST (Yield strength in Tension) and height 750mm(including base plate).
Connections:All the individual structural members of the space frame have to be connected using arc weld and shall confirm to norms specified in IS 816 (1969) – Code for practice for use of metal arc welding for General construction in mild steel. The entire scaffolding shall be errected to the required height in specified areas to facilitate different agencies' workmen to work on the ceiling and wall area. | 9.00 | Providing safety nets in work place where height of the work environment is more than 25 feet. Nets shall extend 8 feet beyond the edge of the work environment where workers are exposed. Nets shall be hung with sufficient clearance to prevent users contact with the hard surface or structure beneath. Such clearance shall be determined by impact load testing. The mesh size of nets shall not exceed 6" x 6". Safety nets used in site should confirm to the standards as per IS code Specification for Industrial Safety Nets (IS:11057-1984) where the sag in longer direction should not exceed one-fifth of its length and sag in shorter direction should not exceed one-fourth of its length. The mesh cord, border cord and tie cord used in site should be flexible, uniform and free from defects. Periodic testing should be done throughout the safety nets to ensure no cord breakage, wear and tear occurs in the safety net. Supplying and fixing in position temporary partition arrangements using reusable plywoods or composite wood or particle board of minimum 6mm thick exterior grade in order to prevent construction debries or particulate matter entering into hospital environment. Vertical and Horizontal mullion supports shall be provided using country wood reepers of standard size 50mm x 25mm and 50mm x 12 mm at required place of adequate length. The rate includes dismantling, making holes in RCC columns and RCC beams, masonry wherever necessary with power drill to the extent required and make good to the original condition after finishing as directed by departmental officers. All materials should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before fixing in position.
Providing Stone seating bench made up of Granite Stone or Equivalent with sculpture works made with skilled stone sthapathis. The individual pieces shall be fixed to each other with adequate bonding adhesives like Aralddite or Equivalent. Stone varnish shall be applied to the stone bench to provide appealing look. The pattern and design of Stone Bench shall be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works.
Providing and fixing of Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP) 4 sided having 50 x 25 x 1.50mm frame work vertical and horizontals out of specially designed extruded sections withstand wind pressure of 180 Kg/sq.m and fabricated fixed at all level elevation and heights. The extruded section cutting and fixing required space extruded section shall be of 6063 and alloy of BSH 9 confirming T is – 63400 rate shall included to fix the main frame with necessary clamps, fasteners, bolt nuts etc. The main frame of extruded section shall be of 22843 & 22739 (H9) grade conforming to BS 4174 (or) IS 8147. Rate shall included 4mm thick ACP sheet (0.25 + 3.5 + 0.25) alstrong or equivalent fixing with spacer tape and the ACP sheet bounded with special type structural sealant of dow corning 789 or equivalent in dust free conditions the gaps between ACP sheet to be filed with whether sealant and backer rod or 12mm foam sheet to ensure water and air tightness in all complete complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officer
Supply and fixing Ornamental Electrically operated two stage ring Fountain made up of granite stone finish/equivalent. The outer diameter of the granite stone fountain should not be less than 2.40m diameter. The granite stone work for fountain have to be duly sculptured for desired pattern using skilled sthapathi stone mason. The fountain arrangements shall be made with 5 Hp motor (Kirloskar high pressure pump/eq) along with suitable starter, water proof wires, brass gasscades including all PVC specials and pipeline arrangements. The Ornamental Fountain shall be provided with suitable decorative light arrangements with model approved by Executive Engineer before use. The rate shall include supply, transportation, electrical arrangements, labour for fixing, all plumbing requirements, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by departmental officers.
Removal and Re-Fixing of Tensile Fabric Roofing Provision for careful dismantling, safe storage and re-fixing of existing tensile fabric roof provided over low terrace during main construction activities. The work includes manual removal of tensile membrane, edge clamps, cables, turnbuckles, anchorage fittings, etc., without damage to fabric or supports. Fabric to be cleaned, rolled (not folded) and stored in dry, shaded and protected condition till refixing. After completion of construction works, re-fixing of tensile fabric in original position including inspection and cleaning of supports, replacement of damaged fasteners, if any. Fabric to be uniformly stretched and tensioned to required design tension using suitable tensioning devices, ensuring proper slope, no sagging, no water pockets, smooth profile and free drainage. All edges, joints and terminations to be properly sealed to ensure water tightness and zero seepage. Water test to be conducted and defects rectified to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Work to be carried out with necessary safety precautions, without affecting hospital functioning.
