M&L for repair to centrifugal pump capacity 150 / 125 HP by disconnecting from foundation, strip opening and replacement of unserviceable parts such as impeller, bushes, shaft sleeve, gland plate, gasket packing, studs bolts, nuts, washer etc. including repair to bearing seat and lathe work, turning, grinding, filling of material, finishing etc. on shaft and shaft key way as required including greasing/oiling and re-assembling the pump with proper alingnment with motor and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Major items like impeller, bearing, bush, gland plate, tyre coupling, coupling assembly shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ as “Supply only”. (ii) Cost for transportaion to workshop and carry back to site after repair is inlcuded in the unit rate of item nothing extra shall be paid on this acount.

M&L for taking out unserviceable submersible pump set of capacity 5 to 15 HP from borewell with electrical wiring carefully by chain pully block or other T&P as required on site and dismantling the pump and motor and replacement of defective parts such as iron stainer, bronze impeller, gun metal bushes, stainless steel sleeve, impeller key, thrust bearing, nut-bolts, washer, lugs, terminal plate and reassembling of the same and lowering in well in its original position with electrical wiring, making proper electrical connections and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : - (i) Rewinding of submersible motor, Iron stainer, bronze impeller, gun metal bushes stainless steel sleeve, impeller key and thrust bearing if required for replacement shall be paid separetly against respective items of BOQ as "Supply only". (ii) Lathe work and grinding of shaft if required is included in the unit rate of item quoted by the contractor and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (iii) Cost of new nuts, bolts, washers, lugs and terminal plate required to be replaced is included in the unit rate of item quoted by the contractor and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (iv) Cost for transportaion to workshop carry back to site after repair is inlcuded in the unit rate of item quoted by contractor and nothing extra shall be paid on this acount.
