Section -I: DG SET :
Supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 3 phase 415 volts 50 cycle per second 1500 RPM radiator cooled by water with fan etc. Diesel Generator Sets of rating as below. The engine shall be 4 stroke and shall include flywheel to suit rigid coupling with guard, stainless steel bellow, air cleaner, fuel pump, electronic variable speed governor complete with all accessories fuel filter, lub oil filter & pump, dynamo, Lead acid type battery of capacity as suggested by manufacturer , battery stand, battery cable,engine controller along with fuel tank hand pump and complete as required comprising of switch with key, 990 ltrs day oil tank (as per Item No. 1.3 of this Section ), fuel piping from day tank to DG Set, residential silencer etc. as required. The alternator shall be seperately excited / AREP principle, self regulated and continuously rated as below suitable for 3 phase 415 volts 50 cycles, 0.8 pf,4 wire system suitable for operation at 50 degree C ambient , accordingly derating shall be considered and shall be provided with brushless excitation unit, Alternator insulation shall be class 'H' suitable to withstand tropical conditions and shall generally comply with BS 5000 and IS 4722 and suitable for working on Synchronisation Panels complete with Droop CT's etc. as required. The overload capacity shall not be less than 110% of rated capacity for 1 hour in every 12 hours. The terminal box shall be suitable for termination of sandwich type bus duct along with bellow. The DG set shall be mounted on a fabricated rigid common base frame with resilient anti-vibration mountings to provide 70% vibration isolation or better. The DG set shall include all accessories, fittings and instrument complete as per specifications and as required. The entire D.G. Set shall be housed in Sound & Weatherproof accoustic enclosure, suitable for indoor duty, as per Central Pollution Control Board latest norms and as per details given in Technical Specifications. An additional hot air duct shall be provided on the top of enclosure at radiator end for directional dissipation of radiator exhaust outside DG room. (Please refer additional notes sheet).

Exhaust Piping: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of following MS exhaust piping, heavy duty class-B complete with all accessories such as bends flanges, flexible connections at a suitable distance etc. and insulated with 75 mm thick layer of LRB rock wool having 96 kg/m3 density, cladding with 24 gauge aluminium sheet all-round the exhaust pipe complete as required at site indoor and outdoor, exhaust piping shall be extended above S/S building height as per as per MoEF/CPCB norm including MS supports properly painted, fixing of residential grade silencers, flexible bellows complete as per technical specifications & instructions of EIC. Note: 1) The outdoor exhaust piping shall be supported by free standing MS structure grouted in concrete foundation & shall got approved by EIC before execution. 2) Free standing MS structure consisting of MS angle iron / channel/sheet complete with two coats of enamel paint shall be measured seperately under item no. 704 of Section-VII. 3) The RCC foundation for free standing MS exhaust structure shall be measured seperately under respective items of Section-VIII.

Buffer & Day Fuel Tank: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 990 liters capacity buffer & Day Fuel Tanks, fabricated from 3 mm thick M.S. sheets including the cost of removable cover with locking arrangement, painting and also providing all the required appurtenances like inlet and outlet connections, float valves, drain connection, overflow connection to oil sump, Prismatic oil level indicator and including the cost of support arrangement etc. complete as required.
Supply & installation of Electronic level controller cum sensor with high and low level limits in buffer tank suitable for automatic operation of solenoid valve & main fuel transfer pump.
HSD storage tank : Supply and fabrication of Underground Bulk Oil (HSD) Storage Tank, with dished ends, of 20,000 ltrs nominal capacity conforming to IS 10987 - 1992. The tank shall be fabricated from MS plates as per IS 2062, 6 mm thick for tanks and 8 mm thick for ends, provided with all standard appurtenances/ mountings like manholes with hinged cover , access ladders, lifting lugs, earthing bosses, appurtenances for fill, suction and sump overflow connections, dip stick, vent pipe, 2 coats of Black bituminous paint on outside surface of the tank etc. complete as per specifications and as required. The scope also includes installation, testing and commissioning of the Bulk Oil Storage Tanks as above below ground level including the cost of providing asphalt doping after surface preparation , sand filling, compaction, levelling, dressing etc. complete as required. Note: 1) The successful Tenderer shall submit all the drawings for approval as per the norms required by the statutory authorities such as PESO, Fire service Department & local PCB etc. The necessary approval and obtaining safety certificate/NOC/license for HSD tank with connected works as required at site is included in the scope of work. 2) The cost of excavation, providing concrete bed and RCC saddle for the tanks, PCC works shall be measured under respective items of Section -VIII.
Fuel Transfer Pumps: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 110 lpm at 20m head Fuel Transfer Pump sets with rotary gear pumps and flameproof motors suitable for transferring HSD oil from the Underground Bulk Storage Tank to the 990litre Buffer Oil Tanks in DG room. (One No. Pump shall be standby). Note: a) All pumps shall be flame proof /explosion proof. Squirrel cage induction motor suitable for Zone 1 & Gas group IIA & IIB and as per IS:2148 or equivalent std. b) Motors shall be induction type, squirrel cage with sealed bearing & suitable for 415V AC, 50Hz, 3 phase power supply. c) The RCC foundation for pump shall be measured seperately in relevant item of Section-VIII
Fuel piping : Supply, laying testing and commissioning of Oil piping with heavy duty MS pipes as per IS 1239, laid directly buried in ground including the cost of bends, supports, clamps etc. and including the cost of earth works (excavation and back filling) and including the cost of surface preparation of pipes, application of corrosion protection tape similar to Pypekote' and including the cost of hydraulic testing before wrapping of rust preventing tape complete as per specification, as required and as below. Note: The excavation of earth for laying fuel piping underground shall be measured seperately under item no. 801 of Section-VIII.

Supply, Erection, Testing and commissioning of Weather & Flame Proof Local ON/OFF Push Button Station suitable for outdoor mounting with suitable MS angle iron frame work etc, including internal wiring etc. complete as required and instructions of EIC.
Section -II: LT PANELS:
Design, manufacture, shop testing at works, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of floor mounting front operated front/ rear access, extensible type, complete design verified LT Switchgear Panel as per IEC 61439 with IP-42 protection, IK 10 rating and form 3b separation. suitable for use at 415 V, 3 phase 4 wire 50 Hz system, and to withstand a fault level as specified in SOQ. All switchboards shall have provision for entry of cables from the top/bottom as required. Control transformer of 415/240/110V, 1 kVA shall be provided, for suppling control AC power to Panel equipments and indications. The Panels shall have 2 nos. 110V AC/DC Control bus. The powder coating colour shade for LT Panels shall be as follows:- 1. Panels fed from normal power supply - RAL 7035 2. Panels fed from DG power supply - (Emergency) other shade as per instructions of EIC. (Please refer additional notes sheet).
Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Panel :(Substation building) 2 nos. of 2500A, 50 kA 4P ACB as per description at Sr. no. 14 of Notes, with automatic changeover controller, suitable electrical interlocking & Mechanical interlocking using cables/connecting rods, bus bars etc. as required, specifications and instructions of EIC.
Section -III: BUS DUCT :
Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of readymade 415 V, 50Hz, triple pole & neutral totally enclosed, min. IP 54 for indoor mounting, 1.5 mm GI sheet steel clad, duly powder coated bus duct with compact sandwiched type insulated Aluminium bus bars having following configuration: a) Bus bar current rating : 2500/1250A b) Bus bar configuration : 3 Phase + neutral Al bus bar. Neutral shall have 100% capacity. c) Symetrical short circuit rating : 50 kA at 415 V d) External earthing : 2 nos 50 x 6 mm tinned copper strip to be measured under item 'Maintenance Free Earting' of Electrical Section respectively. The bus duct shall be complete with following components / accessories inclusive of joint covers as required, wall crossing unit with fire barrier, transposition units etc. as required & as per instructions of EIC & as per technical Specification. Any components/features etc not specifically mentioned but which are required functionally & for safety of system shall be inlcuded in scope of work without extra financial implication. The cost of supporting arrangement by MS angle, hangers, vertical supports etc. shall be included in the scope of work. Section -V : MAINTENANCE FREE EARTHING SYSTEM :
Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free earthing system & associated works, etc. complete as per specifications & instructions of E-I-C. NOTE: 1) Measurement of resistance of earthing grid must be carried out as per instructions of EIC.
Providing and making earth station comprising of 17 mm dia 3m long earthing electrode of high tensile low carbon steel rod molecularly bonded 250 micron copper coating on the outer surface, UL listed, filling bore with suitable earth enhancement compound as per IEC 62561-7 & manufacturer's standard, surrounding the earth electrode complete with all required materials & instructions of EIC. Note: The scope includes :- 1) Installation of earth rods including making pit/ drilling 150 mm dia, 3m deep bore holes in normal soil/ hard rock as per manufacturer's recommendations & design. 2) Exothermic welding of joints between earth electrode & GI / tinned Cu strip and between GI / tinned Cu strips, used for interconnection of earth electrodes. 3) Each earth electrode shall be provided with poly plastic inspection chamber with cover as per OEM standard.
Supply & installation of 50 x 6mm & 150 mm long tinned Cu equipotential bar inside existing concrete chamber (600 x 600 x 600 mm) as per instructions of EIC. (For housing Substation equipment Earthing Equipotential bar and individual DG neutral earthing equipotential bar) Note: 1) The date of testing and earth resistance value shall be written on the cover with black base with yellow paint. 2) The concrete chamber shall be measured under relevant items of Section-VIII & MS hinged cover under item no. 704 of Section-VII.

Nominal Reinforcement if provided shall be measured & paid under relevent item.

Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) : Notes: i) Cement for structural works shall be OPC/PPC ISI marked and duly approved by the Engineer-in-charge ii) PPC/blended cement of ISI marked shall only be used for finishing works on prior approval of Engineer-in-charge iii) All RCC work shall be controlled concrete unless otherwise specified and shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the drawings and specifications. iv)The rates for RCC works shall be exclusive of cost of reinforcement and form work unless otherwise mentioned. v) All coarse aggregate to be of 20mm. maximum size & uniformly graded unless otherwise mentioned. vi) For all RCC items, the rates quoted shall include the following without any extra cost to the Department. a)Spacers to maintain clear cover for reinforcement. b)Fixing at correct level and in proper alignment the inserts, pipe sleeves, pipe bends, hooks, other pipe specials etc. supplied by / through the dept. c) Making cutout whereever required including cutting the form works etc. d)Test for Concrete shall be done as per IS 456-2000. And the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor.
Reinforced Cement Concrete of grade M-30 in foundation and plinth in all geometrical shapes at all levels and locations conformining to I.S. 456-2000 and 13920 latest edition, using 20mm. maximum size down graded stone aggregate including machine mixing, conveying, placing in position, mechanical consolidation, finishing the exposed surfaces with 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:4 with neat coat of cement mortar, curing, including centring shuttering etc. all complete as per specifications drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge
Extra for providing RMC (Ready Mixed Concrete) conforming to IS : 4926(latest) in lieu of conventional RCC and PCC items supplied by approved RMC manufactures for all type of structural elements/ RCC / PCC elements including transporting, pumping etc. complete as per instruction of the Engineer in charge. Notes: i) The contractor shall obtain prior approval for RMC manufacturer from Engineer in Charge. ii) The rate shall apply for all levels and locations including all type of structure etc. iii) Extra for RMC in lieu of conventional RCC and PCC of any grade mentioned elsewhere in shall be measured and paid under this item for substructure works.
Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying, delivering, storing of various diameters as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position at all locations & levels and binding with 18 gauge, soft drawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge.
a) Thermo Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 D. Note: The cost of binding wire shall be borne by the contractor and binding wire shall not be measured for payment.
Brick masonry work in foundation and plinth,cable pits, trench, steps etc. using well burnt bricks from approved lot, of class designation 3.5 (classification as per IS 1077-1992 and min. average compression strength not less than 3.50 N/mm2 ) in C.M 1: 6 to correct line, level and plumb including raking out joints/simultaneous flush pointing with cement mortar 1:4, curing etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer in charge. Notes: i)One brick wall thickness shall be considered as 230 mm & lesser wall thickness if any shall be made up accordingly by the contractor by applying cement mortar of mix 1:4 in proper line, level & plumb without any extra cost to the department. ii) The rate shall include cost of making the brick masonry to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department. (iii)The contractor shall get approved the samples of bricks from the Engineer-In- Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work iv) Necessary Openings/nitches/cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-In-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost.
15mm thick cement plaster 1:4 in single coat at all locations to correct line, level, plane and plumb for cable pits trenches, chambers,steps etc., finished smooth with neat cement finish, including preparing the surface, scaffolding, curing etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Supply & installation of 250 mm dia heavy duty RCC Hume pipe of class 'NP3' to be laid in ground/from concrete cable trench to ground, for passing of cables with necessary joints, concrete supports. Scope includes escavation below ground level in all types of soil/concrete road cutting/foot path cutting, nallah cutting /any RCC wall/floor cutting including back filling, dewatering, consolidation, reinstatement of excess earth within the radius of 500 m and original,disposal making good to the original finish etc. spare space of hume pipes after cable laying and spares hume pipes shall be sealed properly with fireproof materials.
