SCHEDULE A BOQ

Complete removal of existing water proofing treatment and expose of top surface of RCC slabof any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris to out side the MoD land and providing following :- (a) Dismantling existing cement concrete/roof tiles on roof including removing debris to out side MD land as directed. (b) Bring upto the slope by providing filling of light weight materials sch as cinder, light weight concrete etc as required, and then providing PCC 1:2:4 type B1 of average thickness of 50mm. (c) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement. (d) Apply a coat of bituminous primer confirming to IS-3384@ 0.4 ltr/Sqm on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and dried. (e) After the primed surface has dried, apply a coat of hot blown bitumen(85/25 penetration) confirming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm of the surface. (f) Providing APP modified water proofing as approved by GE weighing not less than 4kg per sqm unrolled over the bituminous coated surgace with 100mm over laps, the overlap shall be sealed by flame as per manufacture instructions complete. (g) Over the APP membrane, apply evenly a tack coat of hot air blown bitumen of grade 85/25 at the rate of 1.20 kg per sqm including cleaning of surface. (h) Applying a coat of aluminium paint at the rate of 100 gm per sqm as per manufacture instruuction over bituminous layer complete all as directed. Note : (i) Care shall be taken to avoid wrinkle and air gaps while sticking membrane to the bitumen applied surface.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises, removal and depositing serviceable materials where directed and leaving the work clear of any plastering and M&L for rendering 10mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 3 :- Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately.

The unit rate quoted is deemed to included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.

Plain cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregate) as in roof kerbs,benching rounded or chamfered on edge all as specified complete all as directed.

Repair of leakage/seepage from the Nahani trap/ floor trap of kitchen/ bathroom/ washbasin of the upper Qtr, in any position at any height, complete including change of floor trap, PVC horinzontal pipe embeded in floor in bathroom or kitchen making good to the damage portion of flooring, laying and matching of tiles in the existing flooring, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Repair of leakage/seepage from the wall/ door bend /door tee/ 'Y' junction/ 'T' Junction of soil pipe / waste pipe/ vent pipe of kitchen/ bathroom/WC of the upper Qtr or at the ground floor Qtr including change of any damage soil waste pipes or fittings of any shape, specification and size, making good to the damage portion of wall with brick work in cement mortar 1:6 or cement concrete 1:2:4 and plastering to wall in CM 1:4 and matching to existing wall complete to avoid the leakage/ seepage at the site of work as directed and specifie by the Engineer -in- charge

Note for item No 7 & 8 (a) Find out main cause of leakage and take necessary steps to resolve / rectify. (b) Replace existing tiles in case lakage through NT/FT. (c) The rate also include provision of new NT/FT. (d) The unit rate is also deemed to be included for reqd bonding chemicals to arrest the leakage/seepage as direct by the manufacturere specification. Cleaning of air/dust blokages in the internal water supply lines concealed or fixed on the wall or floor surfaces by taking down carefully the fitting such as taps, valves, unions etc to facilitate/stimulate clearance of blockages/airlocks and re fixing the taking down carefully items after clearance of blockage/airlocks including fiiitngs etc complete all as specified and as directed

Complete removal of existing treatment of any type/description such as distempering work, internal emulsion etc from internal surfaces of walls & ceiling with mechanical means/ grinder, then applying wall care putty of minimum thickness 1mm on internal surfaces of walls/ceilings as required for desired smoothness and levelling of surfaces in two by using ready made wall care putty including sand papering after filling the putty to make surface smooth and ready for receiving apply Two coats of plastic emulsion all specificed and as directed. Notes : (i) The prepared surface after wall putty, the contractor will inform to the Engineer-in-Charge for site inspection before applying further surface finishes. Please note that the further surface finishes work will start only after approval of the prepared surface from the Engineer-in-Charge .

Preparation of old plastered surfaces of wall by using pressure washer, removal all dirt and dust and applying one coat of exterior emulsion weater proof paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Note:-(i) Cost of scaffolding required deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (ii) Work will be carried out through authorised applicator/ agency of approved manufacturer by GE.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

Providing and laying acrylic elastomeric exterior waterproofing coating. The coating to be applied on wall shall be liquid applied highly durable waterproof coating system for wall, based on high quality acrylic emulsion, functional filler, sunlight stable pigment and quality fungicides. It shall have properties that provide features like crack bridging ability, breathability, flexibility & exterior durability and resists micro-organism growth.It shall cover hairline cracks up to 0.5 mm effectively. It shall have excellent crack bridging ability and shall bridge cracks up to 2 mm width. The elongation at break is approx. 200 %. The tensile strength is 0.72 Mpa. It has a hardness shore ‘A’ scale of 72, with an adhesion strength of 1.5 Mpa. The coating is UV resistant, algae and fungus resistant, and a crack bridging ability of 1-2 mm. The coating must be applied with temperature above 5°C and below 45°C. The coating shall be applied in two coats of by roller or brush application at the interval of 4-6 hours.Allow applied coating to dry or cure for 7 days. Applying epoxy bonding agent for proper bonding between old surface with micro-concrete/new surface and fixing shuttering around the structural members to be retrofitted. The bonding agent shall be a two component solvent free epoxy supplied as ready to use at site. The product shall have a minimum pot life of 30 Min at 35°C and an open time of atleast 30 Min @ 30°C up to which new concrete can be poured. It shall develop a minimum compressive strength of 65 N/mm2 and a bond Strength of 3 MPa. (b) The unit rate quoted for item 31 to 43 of BOQ is deemed to included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.

(c) The defect liability period for the work shall be 05 (Five) years from the certified date of completion of work.

(d) Quoted rate shall be inclusive of material all labors tools and plants scaffolding and working upto approx 7.5 mtr height from natural ground level.

(e) Adoption of necessary safety arrangement like safety belts. ropes. helmets, netting etc. which are required for safety of working at height etc. which are required for safety of working at height exceeding 3 to 25 mtr height shall be mandatary and deemed to be inclusive on quoted rates.
