Material and Labour for premixed bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 75mm or less ) laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of grade VG-30, using mechanical paver and rolled with 8-12 tonne capacity power road roller rolled to uniform smooth surface ,complete all as specified and as directed. Note- (i) Bituminous macadam shall prepared in central computerised hot mix plant. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Design mix shall be got done by the contractor at his own expenses from laboratory as decided and approved by GE.
Material and labour for laying bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm (consolidated thickness) using with 5.5% of binder (grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using mechanical paver and rolled with 8-12 tonne capacity power road roller rolled to uniform smooth surface ,complete all as specified and as directed. Note- (i) Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete shall prepared in central computerised hot mix plant. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
