WATER PROOFING "Providing and laying water proofing treatment on roofs of slabs by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying: " a) after surface preparation, first layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/sqm. (b) laying second layer of Fibre glass cloth when the first layer is still green. Overlaps of joints of fibre cloth should not be less than 10 cm. (c) third layer of 1.5 mm thickness consisting of slurry of cement @ 1.289 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.670 kg/sqm and coarse sand @ 1.289 kg/sqm. This will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed by water curing for 48 hours. The entire treatment will be taken upto 30 cm on parapet wall and tucked into groove in parapet all around. Supply,Installation,Testing and Commissioning for 100 KLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION Quantity of total discharge waste water = 100 KLD Discharge of Flow = 5.55 cum. /hr. (18 Hr.) Required Outlet Parameters: pH = 6.5—9.0. BOD = 30 mg/liter. COD = 250 mg/liter. TSS = 100 mg/liter. Oil & Grease = 10 mg/liter. Methodology: MBBR Technology. Screen chamber: Screening (Coarse Screen Chamber) removes large objects to prevent damage and clogging of downstream equipment. Equalization Tank: Equalization Tanks are designed to provide consistent influent flow to downstream processes by retaining high flow fluctuations. Due to the additional retention time,aeration and mixing is required in equalization tank to prevent the raw wastewater from becoming septic and to maintain solids in suspension. The waste water will be equalized here and some portion of BOD will be reduced. Primary Settling Tank: The Settling or sedimentation tanks are designed to reduce the velocity of the wastewater flow, allowing heavier organic solids (called raw sludge) to settle. They are the first stage of treatment after the removal of rags and grit in the inlet works. Aeration Tank (MBBR): The sewage after being treated in the pre-existing primary treatment, it will flow into this tank for the secondary treatment. The wastewater is aerated in this tank in the presence of bio pack media. The BOD and COD levels are highly reduced in this chamber due to the biological action of micro organisms that develop on the media provided within the tank. Secondary Settling Tank: From the aeration tank the water will flow to Clarifier tank where biological sludge will be settled. Clarifiers are settling tanks built with mechanical means for continuous removal of solids being deposited by sedimentation. A Settling Tank is generally used to remove solid particulates or suspended solids from liquid for clarification and (or) thickening. The excess sludge will be pumped to the Filter Press and dry sludge will be disposed off by way of land filling. And filtrate will recycle to Equalization Tank. Clear Water Tank: The overflowed wastewater from the settling tank is introduced in this tank. Chlorine dosing is done in this tank to disinfect it before it is pumped through the multi-grade and activated carbon filter. Multi-grade Filter: This is the first stage of tertiary treatment where the partially treated wastewater is passed through multiple layers of sand and gravel. Activated Carbon Filter: This is the second stage of tertiary treatment where the partially treated wastewater is passed through multiple layers of sand, gravel and activated carbon. Sludge Drying Beds: From the Sludge Sump Excess Sludge will be pumped out to Sludge Drying beds. From SDB dry sludge will be transferred to landfill. Sludge Sump: Excess Sludge will be deposited here for Aeration Tank MLSS maintain.
