Excavation in trenches n. exc 1.5mm wide and n.exc 1.5m deep for foundation of poles/stays/cable etc and getting out in soft /loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches exc 1.5mm wide and exc 1.5m deep for foundation of poles/stays/cable etc and getting out in soft /loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning , filling in and incl spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layers each n.exc 25cm thick in soft/loose soils complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point etc complete all as specified and directed.

M& L for Sand cushioning to under ground cable in trenches/existing cable trenches/ducts in layers of 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm deep after laying and stretching the cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Supply and laying well burnt, sub class 'B' brick old size for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concreted (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of poles filling and mass concreting complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concreted (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in foundation of pole/ stay assembly/feeder pillar box/LT panel,etc, incl necessary form work and fair finsh to exposed surfaces without using extra cement etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Cement concreted (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of electric poles/struts/ etc including necessary form work, fair finished surfaces without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling & taking out old damaged PCC/Steel pole of any size and removing from site of work complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling & taking out old damaged stay assembly complete with stay wire, loop type insulator,worntout clamps etc of any size and removing from site of work complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down old wornt out ACSR conductor of any type and size complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling & taking down old wornt out MS clamps/cross arms/channels complete with nuts & bolts etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing LT Pre-stressed concrete pole 9.0 metres long of cross section 102 mm x 172 mm at top and 102 mm x 279 mm at bottom class 10 complying with requirement of IS 1678-1978 incl painting of poles with two coats of synthetic enamel paint/over a coat of primer in black and white strips upto 1.5 mtr height from top of PCC as directed (PCC and earth work shall be measured and paid separately). complete all as specified and directed

Supplying and fixing stay assembly comprising of galvanised stay bow 40 cm long, 14 mm dia complete with 20 mm dia stay rod of 215 cm long with threaded ends and GI nut, two numbers thimbles, MS clamps made out of 40 x 6mm flat iron including nuts, bolts & washers, 300 x 300 x 6 mm stay plate , including painting of exposed MS work with two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as shown in electrial plate No 1 of SSR Part-I. Note: Necessary earth work , loop type insulator and stay strand shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of schedule/BOQ complete all as specified and directed

S & F in replacement of galvanised stay strand 7/4 mm size complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Aluminium conductor, steel reinforced (ACSR) of different sizes incl jointing and stritching for over head lines on LT poles including binding, jumpers, line taps etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing in Repair of loop type insulator, porcelain, vitreous white brown of green of size 90mm x 140 mm and clearance of hole 25.5 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing in Repair of pin type, porcelain, viterous, white brown or green insulator including mild steel spindle & nut, two galvanised iron washers, one galvanised iron nuts 100 mm height , 65 mm dia for 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing in Repair of shackle type porcelain viterous white brown or green insulator for working pressure 1100 V of 90 mm dia and 75 mm height etc incl galvanised mild steel straps made out of flat iron 31 mm incl 12 mm dia bolts, nuts, washers etc complete all as specified and directed.

Stritching only of loosened existing ACSR conductor (Per Span consisting of any number and size of wire) any size, by opening the binding wire from insulator and re-fixining after streching with proper sag incl strenghtening of ACSR conductor and re-binding the same on insulators and binding complete all as directed by EIC. NOTE :- The unit rate includes attending the complaints of snapping of conductors as and when occured and as intimated.

S&F in replacement LT line poly proplain composite phase separators moulded type suitable for horizontal/vertical 4 lines LT overhead lines complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

M&L for Pruning of tree branches of any size /dia from LT/HT overhead line up to a minimum clearance of 2.5 mtr from over head conductor incl T &P and transportation for disposal complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

M/L for Clearing of bushes/small plants upto root level around and surroundings areas E/M installations (i.e.Two Pole/ Four structures, outdoor-substation yards, pump house & E/M installations etc) including surface dressing n.exc 15 cm deep and removing debris to a distance n.exc 50m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of LT Panel complete with two coats of synthetic Enamel paints over a coat of red oxide and other necessary fabrication work like replacement of hinges ,locking Knobs, bending and welding work required for hinges etc as per required at site complete all as Specified and directed by Engr -in- Charge Note :- The cost of item rate includes removal of old unservicable MCCBs of any type and capacity New MCCBs,Voltmeter, Ammeter and Aluminium bus bar will be measured and paid separately under relevent item of BOQ.

M&L Painting of old LT PCC pole upto 1.5 mtr height from PCC, of synthetic enamel paint with black and white strips and including wiriting pole No all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling and taking down old UNSV LT UG cable of any type and size complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying and connecting XLPE insulated and sheathed armoured 1100 volts grade heavy duty electric cable with multistranded aluminium conductor laid in trenches/duct through pipe, in floor on poles in and including aluminium thimble or aluminium line tape of size 25 sq mm 4 core nominal cross section area complete all as specified and directed. Make - Polycab, Finolex and KEI.

Supplying and fixing in replacement of 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated with aluminium solid conductor served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and over all PVC sheathed in service connection suspended by insulating hangers not more than 1 metre apart including 4 mm suspension wire,one twin core cable flat or circular of size 10 sq mm, complete all as specified and directed. Make - Polycab, Finolex and KEI.

All as per item No 44 above but size 16 sq mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing in repair of Earthing complete with galvanized mild steel earth plate electrode size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (Preferably in vertical position) earth pit not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less 1.5 metre (BGL) connected to galvanized iron earth strip 32 x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nut and washer of galvanized iron including PCC pit in RCC 1:2:4 type B-1, precast RCC cover with suitable handle, excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20mm bore “medium grade” galvanized iron water tubing fixed with cast iron funnel and wire mesh and 50 mm bore “light grade” galvanized iron protection pipe for earth strip 32 x6 mm upto 5m length, charcoal, common salt, complete all as shown in EP No 1 of SSR 2009 Part-I, connected to test point complete, all as specified and testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing in repair of Earthing complete, all as shown on electrical plate No 3 of MES schedule part-I , as specified including the following :- (i) Galvanised steel earth plate of size 60cmsx60cmsx6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.50 metre below normal ground level. (ii) Earth plate surrounded by and packed with char-coal and common salt in alternative layers (n.exc 15cms each layer). (iii) 4 mm dia (8 SWG) G.I earth wire from earth plate to main switch board including necessary GI bolts, nuts check nuts, washers, thimbles etc. (iv) 15 mm bore light grade, GI pipe for protection to earth-wire. (v) 20mm bore, medium grade, GI pipe for watering including GI funnel and wire mesh. Pipe shall be provided vertically upto top level of earth pit and then taken horizontally to the earth pit. (vi) 50mm thick pre-cast cover of cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, Chamber in PCC(1:3:6), type-C2 (to be constructed 1 m away from edge of earth pit) and MS angle iron 50x50x6mm frame including two coats of painting over a coat of red oxide to exposed steel surfaces.(vii) Excavation in soft/loose soil, returning filling & removal of surplus soil to a distance upto 50 metre as directed including testing etc all as specified.
