RENOVATION OF BASEMENT IN MULTISTOREY BUILDING AT GMSH SECTOR 16 CHANDIGARH.

Dismantling of kota/ terrazo chips from dado or flooring including removing of malba to 50 meters complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:4:8 or leaner mix (including equivalent design mix)

Dismantling of ceramic tiles or vitrified and plaster to making the surface clean for refixing the glazed tiles including removing of malba complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-Ill) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mmnominal size derived from natural sources)

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Providing and laying Polished Granite stone flooring in required design and patterns, in linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building all complete as per the architectural drawings with 15 to 18 mm thick stone slab over 20 mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) laid and jointed with cement slurry and pointing with white cement slurry admixed with pigment of matching shade including rubbing , curing and polishing etc. all complete as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Polished Granite stone slab of colour Black, Cherry/Ruby Red or equivalent (Based on DSR 11.56.1)

Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in floor in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS:15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) jointing with grey cement slurry @3.3 kg/sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc. The tiles must be cut with the zero chipping diamond cutter only . Laying of tiles will be done with the notch trowel, plier, wedge, clips of required thickness, leveling system and rubber mallet for placing the tiles gently and easily. Double charge vitrified tile polished finish of size Size of Tile 600x600 mm

Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed wall tiles (600 x 1200mm) with 3mm spacer conforming to IS: 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3(1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm. The groves are to be filled with cementitious grout mix with proportion of 0.90 kg grout and 0.10 kg of hardener for each kg of filling material complete as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand)
