Flow table for Self compacting concrete, (As per Specifications of IS:9103) Apparatus used to determine the flow of fresh mixed super plasticized concrete to high working. The top shall have a plan area of 700 mm x 700 mm and a flatness of within 1.5 mm, The centre of the table shall be scribed with a cross, the lines of which run parallel to and out to the edges of the plate, and with a central circle 200 mm in diameter. The flow table top shall be hinged to a base frame using externally mounted hinges in such a way that no aggregate can become trapped easily between the hinges or hinged surfaces. The front of the base frame shall extend a minimum 120 mm beyond the flow table top in order to provide a top board. An upper stop shall be provided on each side of the table so that the lower front edge of the table can only be lifted 40 ± 1 mm. The equipment consist of following replaceable parts made of a metal, readily not attacked by cement paste or liable to rust and of minimum thickness 1.5mm. a) Flow table b) Slump Cone (130mm X 200mm X 300mm ) c) Tamping bar. Consistometer, (As per Specifications of IS:7320, IS 10510, IS: 1199) Apparatus used to determine the workability of concrete, The apparatus shall consist mainly of the following: a) Slump cone without foot rests, (The slump cone shall be as per IS : 7320 – 1974 except for foot rests.) b) Mould, (The mould shall be made of galvanized iron sheet or such other material which does not get corroded by cement. The thickness of the mould shall not be less than 2 mm. The internal and bottom surfaces of the mould shall be smooth and free from dents, projections, etc.) c) Vibrating table resting on elastic supports, (The table top shall be either of cast iron or fabricated by welding a mild steel plate to a suitable steel frame. The table along with the vibrating unit shall be supported on rubber shock absorbers. The table shall be mounted on a base resting on three rubber feet. The table top shall be fitted with electrically operated vibrator mounted under it with clamp. The motor shall be 0.75kW 3-phase motor. The vibrator shall operate at a frequency of 3000 vibrations per minute at an amplitude of 0.5 mm. d) Swivel arm with hopper, (The swivel arm with hopper shall be telescoped into swivel arm holder welded to the base of the table. It shall be of rigid construction and shall be able to easily sit and get removed from the top of the slump cone.) e) Contact plastic disc with graduated rod. The whole assembly shall be attached to the swivel arm. The accessories Tamping Bar conforming to IS 7320 and Stop watch etc. Equipment should be Suitable for operating on 415 V, 3 phase, 50 Hz Ac supply, confirming fully to standards IS 10510, IS: 1199 etc. Equipment must be of superior make/manufacture and finish, COMPLETE IN ALL RESPECT.

Flow Table, Motorised (As per Specifications of IS:1199, IS:9103) Apparatus consists of Flow Table Top 76.2 Cm finely machined With complete iron assembly, The ground and hardened steel cam is designed to drop the table by 12.5mm with an electric geared motor. Complete with Flow mould 250mm base dia, 170mm top dia and 120mm high, suitable for operation with 220 Volts, 50 Hz, Single phase AC Supply. Air Entrainment Meter Apparaus (As per Specifications of IS:9799, IS 1199, IS 10079) Apparatus used to determine the check on air content, so that the same remains within permissible limits, when the admixture is used to increase the workability of the concrete. Apparatus consists of measuring bowl with a conical cover assembly and other accessories Measuring Bowl - It shall be a flanged cylindrical bowl of steel or cast iron 01 brass or any other hard metal not readily attacked by cement, The nominal capacity of the Bowl 0.005m3 Conical Cover Assembly - The cover shall be flanged, preferably made of steel or cast iron or brass or other hard metal and on-corrodible and shall have interior surfaces inclined not less than 30o. Calibration cylinder shall consist of a cylindrical measure having an internal volume equal to 3 to 6 percent of the volume of the measuring bowl. Pressure tight flanged cylindrical measuring bowl, fitted with a removable flanged and conical cover assembly with a seal in between. the conical cover has a air value and a pet cock for bleeding off the water. A cylindrical stand pipe which is graduated in percent air content, is fixed on the conical cover assembly. The assembly is mounted on a flat base, apparatus consisting of Calibrating cylinder, pressure gauge, funnel, trowel and tamping bar capacity of, suitable upto 38mm aggregate size. Coil Spring - A coil spring for holding the calibration cylinder in place shall be provided. Pressure Gauge - The pressure gauge for the measurement of pressure shall be of 75 mm diameter. The gauge shall have a range of twice the normal working pressure and shall be suitably graduated, it shall be provided with other accessories Trowel-, Tamping Rod, Mallet, Strike Off Bar, Funnel, Pump. Cylindrical Specimen Capping equipment: (As per Specifications of IS:516, BS 1881, etc) The apparatus consists of a base with an upright, which serves as a guide for positioning the capping plate and a cylinder, precisely machined capping plate, to be supplied complete with a cylinder caarier and a laddle. a) Capping Set vertical for capping 150mm dia concrete cylinders. b) Capping set vertical for capping 100mm dia concrete cylinders c) Capping set vertical for capping 70mm dia concrete cylinderical core specimen. Permeability Tester Equipment (As per Specifications of IS:3085) To access the durability of concrete mix, its ability to resist the flow of water through, is one of the important durability characteristics. The permeability is determined on cement, mortaor and concrete specimen, either cast in laboratory or obtained by cutting out cores from existing structures, the reference standard being IS 3085. Apparatus:The apparatus consists of High Pressure permeability test on using diffrent cells. Each cell made os steel and provided with a top plate and funnel at the bottom having gasket seals held in position through bolts and nuts. The concrete specimen are sealed in the cells to prevent any leakage along the side walls. the permeated water is collected in glass bottles atached at the bottom. Separate control value for each unit, mounted on structural stand, and provided with end pressure gauges. The pressure to be applied through compressor the equipment to hold 150mm cube, a set of three. 3 Cell model for 100mm cube Equipment must be of superior make/manufacture and finish, COMPLETE IN ALL RESPECT.

Blain Air permeability Apparatus, (As per Specifications of IS:5516) The variable flow type air-permeability apparatus (Blane type) shall consist essentially of a means for drawing a definite quantity of air under a falling pressure head through a prepared bed of powder of a definite,porosity. The equipment shall consist of following replaceable part Permeability cell shall consist of a rigid right cylinder 12.7± 0.1 mm inside diameter, constructed of austenitic stainless steel or other abrasion-resisting, non-corroding metal. The U-tube manometer shall be constructed with One arm of the manometer shall be provided at the top with’s conical socket to form an airtight fit with the conical surface of the cell. The manometer shah be mounted firmly on the vertical board of the manometer stand in such a manner that the arms are vertical. mounted on Stand, Perforated Metal Disc, Plunger, Rubber Stopper, Rubber Tube, 20 cm long, Filter paper Discs, Dibutylphthalate liquid (100ml bottle), punch, non perforated Disc, suction Bulb. Perforated Disc The disc shall be constructed of non-corrodiblemetal, preferably brass or austenitic stainless steel and shall be 0.9 to 0.1 mm in thickness, perforated with 30 to 40 circular holes, each one millimetre in diameter equally distributed over its area and finished smooth. Plunger The plunger shall be of the same material as the cell ax&hall fit into the cell with a clearance of not more than 0.1 mm. The bottom of the plunger shall sharply meet the lateral surfaces and shall be at right angles to the axis. Accessories The filter paper disc cutter and air evacuating rubber bulb may be supplied as accessories, the equipment shall be confirming to the lastest provisions of IS 5516. Le-chatelier Apparatus for determining soundness of cement, (As per Specifications of IS:5514, IS 1727, IS 2645, IS 4031, IS 6932-9) The apparatus shall consist of a small split cylinder of spring brass or other suitable non-corrodible metal of0.5 mm thickness forming a mould 30 mm internal diameter and 30 mm high. On either side of the split, two indicators shall be brazed suitably with pointed ends made of 2 mm diameter brass wire such that the distance of these ends from the centre of the cylinder is 16.5 mm. The split cylinder shall be kept between two glass plates, A pair of plane glass base and cover plates shall be provided for each mould. Each plate shall be larger than’ the mould, preferably of size 35 mm x 35 mm. Two loops of suitable material and strength soldered to the upper halfof the mould on each side of the central split shall be provided to facilitate demoulding of the hardened paste specimen after

Le chatelier flask for determining the specific gravity (As per Specifications of IS:4031-11 & relevant specifications) of hydraulic cement etc as specified in IS 4031-Part 11, The apparatus shall be as per the lastest provision of above IS standards. Soil Compaction Apparatus (Modified) Moulds (As per Specifications/ Ref. Standard of IS:10074 (Part VIII), IS:2720 (Part 8), IS:9198) Equipment must consist of following for performing tests to determine density moisture relations for soils. 1) Modified Compaction mould in mild steel (Heavy Compaction/Modified Proctor) consisting of 2250 ml volume mould, 150mm diameter and 127.3mm height. 3) Base plate & Collar. Cement Mortar Mixer (IS : 10890-1984, IS: 1727-1967, IS: 4031) Equipment must be provided for preparation of plastic mortar of cement and pozzolanic materials, for making different types of test specimens in the laboratory. Equipment must be in confirmation with IS : 10890-1984, IS: 1727-1967, IS: 4031 and must comprise of following Specifications: 1) A stainless steel mixing bowl of about 6 litre capacity, which can be held with the mixing apparatus and its height adjustable. 2) A stainless steel mixing paddle of standard/specified shape and dimensions which can be attached or removed easily. 3) A power/motor-driven mixer which simultaneously imparts two motions to the mixing paddle i.e. revolving and planetary, they being opposite to one another in direction. 4) A two speed gear box (low/high) to revolve paddle at approximately 140rpm ±5rpm and 285±10rpm rpm, with corresponding planetary motion of 62±5rpm and 125±10rpm, respectively. 5) Allied accessories like scraper, cleaning brush etc. (Equipment/Supply must be of superior make/manufacture and finish, COMPLETE IN ALL RESPECT).
