MAINT AND REPAIR OF EXT LT ES NETWORK IN AKHNOOR UNDER GE N AKHNOOR

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation, shafts, man holes, for under ground cable laying / erection of poles, stays, locating fault of LT cable and stay assembly etc not exceeding 10 square metre on plan and getting out in any type of soil including dressing/trimming of sides and leveling, grading and ramming of bottom of excavation complete all as specified & directed.

Returning, filling in, soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each layer complete all as specified & directed.

Removing excavated material/soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified & directed.

Sand cushioning to cable with a layer of sand 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cms deep after laying the cable (punned down to 18 cms depth after laying and stretching of cable) complete all as specified & directed.

Supplying and laying bricks, common burnt clay, sub class 'B', old size, laid in perpendicular direction to cable as cable protection complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for replacement of DWC HDPE pipe of size 90x75mm mm for cable protection cable passes along with cable laid alongwith wall, pole, cable in air, cable passes through complete all as specified & directed.

Boring of holes under road pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique or manual boring and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 50mm to 150 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure complete all as specified & directed.

Supplying and fixing in replacement of light grade galvanised mild steel pipe 80 mm bore with all fittings, laid under roads, drain, paths, fixed to poles/walls with suitable mild steel clamps, bolts, nuts and washers complete all as specified & directed. Note:- Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of this schedule.

All as per Item No 8 here-in-before but of size 50 mm bore.

Taking down unservicable cable and supply and laying connecting, testing in replacement of XLPE underground cable insulated, and overall sheathed with aluminium conductor heavy duty 1100 volts grade 10 sqmm 4.0 core laid in trenches/ on pole/road crossing or passing through existing/new pipe under road crossing clamping on wall incl aluminium thimbles/lugs also including taking out bricks etc complete all as specified & directed. Note: (i) Earth work, sand, bricks, returning filling will be paid separately. (ii) Cost of laying electrical cable through new/existing pipe under road, buildings, railway tracks, highways is incl in the quoted rates. (iii) All equipments, machinery or tool if required for laying electrical cable through new/existing pipes are provided by the contractor without any extra cost.
