Construction of RCC canal (1.20m width) Earthwork in excavation in foundation of canal structures in all types of soils as per design and drawing including dressing the foundation, shoring etc. removing the surplus spoils by head load to safe distance from the working place and depositing the required spoils in uniform layers, dressing, watering, breaking clods to not more than 10 mm cube with compensation, complete as directed at site. (Including bailing out stagnant rain water where necessary). (A) All types of soil except soil mix with gravel & boulder

Soling in foundation at all levels including filling intersides, ramming etc complete as directed and of specified thickness with 9 cm brick on flat including sand packing.

lum concrete work in 40% plum hard boulder 15cm to 23cm size and filling the interstices with 60% of C.C. in prop. 1:3:6 of 13 mm to 38 mm aggregate including shuttering, curing etc. complete as directed. (Temporary arrangement for obtaining clear water should be made at site.) (Av. Quarry distance = 25 KM)

Cement Concrete work in proportion 1: 2: 4 with aggregate of size 13 mm to 38 mm free from dust and dirt and other foreign materials including roding (vibrating), bailing out wate where necessary and carrying with supplying all materials complete as directed. (Temporary arrangement for obtaining clear water should be made at site. A) River Singles. (ii) With shuttering & without dewatering.

Supplying, fitting, fixing and laying in position M.S. rod/ Torsteel/ TMT bars of all sizes as per design and drawing as required including cutting, bending, cranking with necessary lappage and tying with black wire complete as directed.

12mm thick cement plastering including clearing the surface and curing etc. complete as directed in prop. 1:3. Inner side of canal

Earth work in all soils in canal embankment and bed filling as per design section and grade by cart carriage for a minimum distance of 1 Km. including paying compensation of earth obtained from private land if any, loading, unloading and stacking in measurable stacks not more than 1m height, spreading the same in 15 cm thick including clearing light jungles, removing trees up to 15cm dia uprooting roots and stumps etc. from the seat of embankment, profiling with all lift complete as directed. (Payment will be made after 12.5% shrinkage allowances from the gross quantity.)
