REPAIR TO VARIOUS JOINTS OF RUNWAY DISPERSAL AND CONNECTED AREA WITH POLYURETHENE JOINT SEALANT INCLUDING FILLING OF POT HOLES WITH EPOXY MORTAR AT AIRFIELD CHARBATIA

M&L for preparing pavement joints by removal of (taking out) the existing sealant bituminous or any other compound to a depth as directed, by chiseling from the joints, cleaning the joints portion throughly and grinding side of joint with grinding machine to make the surface free from dust faces of bitumen or any other sealing compound without distrubing the pavement, then finally cleaning the joint with high compressed air by air blower etc. Providing backup material (polyprophylene backup rod) of suitable width 20 to 25% more than width of joint as per available space in the pavement joints and also to maintain a depth (min 10mm ) to accommodate joint sealant as specified. Priming both sides of the joint surface upto the top level of back material with specified primer and apply polyurethene base joint sealant properly leaving 3 mm gap from top surface of concrete as per manufacturer's instruction using masking tape to avoid accidental spillage, size of joint 26 to 30 mm wide and 50 mm average depth complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Tender attention is invited to the depth of pavement joint required to to be cut. In case of extra cutting tenderer needs to make good with suitable filler as directed at his own cost. (ii) Fly wheel, spatula, trangular pallet knife etc to be used to maintain the recess and to give aesthetics. (Make: Choksey or Equilvalent) as approved by GE.

All as per item No 01 above but size of joint is 21 to 25 mm wide and 44 mm avg depth.

All as per item No 01 here-in-before but size of joint is 16 to 20 mm wide and 38 mm avg depth.

All as per item No 01 here-in-before but size of joint is 10 to 15 mm wide and 32 mm avg depth.

M&L for Raking out & cleaning of cracked or damaged portion of concrete pavement/ bitumenious surface of width not exc 0.10 mt and depth not exc 25 mm by using compressed air and filled compacting the same by premixed sand seal coating mixed with proportion of (0.06 cum of sand mixed with 6.87 kgs of 80/100 grade bitumen) after necessary priming coat @ 1.0Kg/Sqm the concrete/bituminous surface with 80/100 grade bitumen, making good flush with adjoining surface of old existing concrete/bitumenious by proper compaction and removing the debris upto distance not exc 100m complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to broken spalled edges of joints pot holes etc of existing concrete slabe by forming square/recangular grooves with diamond/Mach cutter wider towards bottom to from key with the existing quality concrete cleaning / dusting the grooves using compressed air to remove all dust and dirt by air blower and repairing with Nitomortor - 30 after applying epoxy primer Nito prime -25 and applying one coat of Nitocoate UR - 512 over epoxy mortor , finished all as manufacturer instruction and complete all as specified and directed. (Make : FOSROC or Equivalent ) as approved by GE

M&L for repair of concrete slab or pavement damaged /spoiled edges /pot holes surface making to rectangular section removing all those forign materials and deposing the same to a distance exc 50 mtr but n.exc 250 mtr and cleaning the surface using compressed air by air blower and repairing with priming and filling elastomeric concrete of choksey chemical Mumbai (Brand Name - Flexo o patch) or equivelent as approved by GE. All those work shall be carried out as per manufacture instruction, complete all as specified and directed.
