Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation , grass brush wood , trees and sapling of girth up to 30 CM measured at 1.0 mtr above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 mtr out side the periphery of the area cleared complete all as specified and directed.
Cleaning the sand stone surfaces and removing dirt, dust, bird dropping , grease, oil, algae, monkey beats etc with the help of required scrubbers complete in all respect, including de-vegetation by removing bushes, trees of any girth from the monument wall & roof/ structure carefully to avoid further growth including disposal of rubbish within 50 mtr. Lead as per direction of Engineer -in Charge including necessary scaffolding upto requisite height and all safety equipments. including taking all precaution to safeguard ventillators, windows, doors etc by suitable covering so as to avoid any damage to the building / structure, all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) Fort wall is inaccessible for heavy machinery. Material and labour to be carried near site manually. (ii) Before quoting of rates, contractor may visit the site of Fort wall of Yamuna front extending from Qila Ghat to Saraswati Ghat (iii) Maximum height of the wall is 50mtr from normal river water level
Taking out cracked and decayed veenars stone very very carefully includding stacking of dismantled material away from site as directed by the Engineer -in Charge
Taking out decayed and buldged R.R masonry including stacking of serviceable items and removal of ruubbish material from site to a lead of 50 mtr.
Stone work ( Machine cut edge ) for wall lining etc ( veneer work) up to 10 mtr height , backing filled with grout of average 12 mm thick lime mortar 1:1:1 ( 1 Lime : 1 surkhi : 1 coarse sand ) including pointing in the lime mortar 1:1:1 ( 1 Lime : 1 surkhi : 1 coarse sand ) with an admixture of pigment matching the stone shade : ( to be secured to be backing and sides by means of cramps and pins which shall be paid for separately ) : stone ( matching with origional exposed face fine dressed with rough backing 40 mm thick including necessary scaffolding. NOTE: (i) Contractor shall procure stone in bulk only after approval of sample by GE/Engineer-in-charge in writing. (ii) Procured material shall be incorporated in the work after approval of material as per sample approved by Engineer-in-charge. (iii) Before quoting of rates, contractor may visit the site of Fort wall for stone work
Cleaning the sand stone surfaces and removing dirt, dust, bird dropping , grease ,oil , algae , monkey beats and any vegetation growth etc including providing ,applying and washing the surfaces with cleaning agent or sand pressure jet as approved by Archaeological Survey of India / Engineer -in - charge, with the help of required scrubbers and also cleaning with machine operated water jet mixed with desired quantity of fine silca where ever required, without causing any scratching/damage to the stone surfaces and finally washing the surfaces with clean water with the help of pressure jet machine, complete in all respect, including necessary scaffolding taking all precaution to safeguard ventillators, windows, doors etc by suitable covering so as to avoid any damage to the building / structure, all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Before quoting of rates, contractor may visit the site of outer fort wall extending Bade Hanuman Mandir to Qila ghat and certain areas inside Fort
STONE WORK
Consolidation of loose / damaged stone masonry with hard stone in super structure above plinth upto five floor level including carefully dismantling of stone , cleaning of mortar and reconsolidating using old re-usable stone for masonry with lime mortar 1:2 (1 lime : 2 Coarse sand) Random Rubble masonry.
Providing and fixing sloping chajja of stone 40 mm thick and 80 CM wide beyond the wall as mesured along the slope in lime mortar 1:1:1 ( 1Lime :1 surkhi:1 coarse sand ) with 12 mm diameter anchoring steel bar , 45 CM long fixed in each stone and supported on and including with bricks cove in lime mortar 1:1:1( 1Lime :1 surkhi:1 coarse sand ) , including pointing in lime mortar 1:2 ( 1 lime :2 Surkhi) with and admixture of pigments matching the stone shade : red sand stone , with common burnt clay F.P.S ( non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5
Providing and fixing adjustable stainless steel cramps of approved quality , required shape and size, adjustable with stainless steel nuts ,bolts and washer ( total weight not less than 260 grams ) for dry stone cladding fixed on frame work at suitable location , including making necessary recesses in stone slab , drilling , required holes etc complete as per direction of the Engineer -in Charge.
Providing and Fixing copper pins 7.5 cm long and 6 mm diameter for securing adjacent stones in stone well lining in 1:1:1( 1Lime :1 surkhi:1 coarse sand ) , including makking the necessary chases.
Providing and fixing red stone brackets 55x22.5x 45 cm sunk and moulded including providing and fixing with 04 Nos gun metal cramps 25x6 mm , 30 cm long and dowel bars 7.5 cm long ,6mm dia as per design.
Providing and fixing stone jali 40 mm thick throughout in lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 Lime :1 surkhi:1 coarse sand ) , including pointing in lime mortar 1:2 ( 1 Lime : 1 Surkhi : 1 Corase sand) with admixture of pigments , amtching the stone shade , jali slab without any chamfers etc Red sand stone
Finishing walls with textured exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.28 ltr/10 sqm) over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20kg/10 sqm
Raking out to joints /pointing of lime mortar squared rubble masonry, coursed or uncoursed raking or including cutting out joints and decayed mortar etc, not less than 12mm deep, washing the joints, removing rubbish off the premises, and keeping the surface to be pointed wet for 2 days prior to re-pointing. complete all as specified
M&L for 12 mm deep flush pointing to random rubble masonry, uncoursed or brought upto courses using lime mortar 1:3 complete all as specified
Taking down lime plaster on brick or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc.

S & F 40 mm thick Dholpur sand stone slabs as in flooring, dressed close picked on exposed faces, set and jointed in cement and stone dust mortar 1:3 and pointed in cement mixed with approved pigment to match including 20 mm thick screed bed cement mortor 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.
M & L for 25 mm thick cement concrete type type B-0, 1:2:4 (12.5mm graded aggregate) as in sub base complete all as specified and directed.
