SPECIAL REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT TO STANDBY DG SET AGAINST BER AND ALLIED WORKS AT INS MANDOVI UNDER GE (P) NAVY MANDOVI

Supplying, install, testing and commissioning, 200 KVA/160 kw stand by DG set at a power factor 0.8 lagging, 3 phase 4 wire, 415 volts 50 Hz ± 1% supply, 1500 RPM, confirming to CPCB IV+ (or CPCB 4) as per latest policy issued , factory assembled silent Diesel Engine driven generator set, fully wired alternator AC directly coupled with diesel engine liquid cooled mounted on common base frame complete with floor mounting fuel tank CO (service tank) of adequate capacity with fuel line & accessories, PCC foundation work as per manufacturer's instructions, vibration damper pads, control panel & other accessories etc and comprising of following. (a) Diesel Engine: Liquid cooled turbo charged with after cooler to deliver suitable BMP at 1500 RPM under NTP conditions of BS 5514 and conforming to IS 10002, DIN 6271 & ISO 3046 with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in any 12 hours continuous operation with the following accessories: Diesel engine of rated speed at full load electric start developing with system with radiator and including electronic governor control of class A1, engine control panel, lub oil pump, water pump, in built fuel tank, exhaust pipe with silencer and suitable for electric start with batteries of adequate capacity and suitable for alternator of specified capacity complete with fly wheel direct/flexible coupling and coupling guard complete. with following specification Make of engine : Kirloskar / Ashok leyland / Cummins / Greaves, Make of Alternator : Kirloskar /Stamford / Crompton / Jyoti

Inbuilt microprocessor-based Automated Mains Failure (AMF) relays and generator controllers designed to seamlessly transition power between the mains and a standby generator having micro-controller based unit. It integrates engine start/stop, alternator supervision, and fault protections, and features a wide auxiliary supply range (7V to 35V DC) and alphanumeric LCD screen., include measurement and display of Voltage , Frequncy , RPM . Fuel level , Load current and Instantaneous load in kW Make: C& S / L & T / ABB/Schneider/Make provided by OEM of DG set.

(a) Radiator with blower fan or heat exchanger with guard. (n) Exhaust piping made out of STIC C class, MS pipe inclusive of all accessories and hardware, necessary supports scaffolding as per manufacturer's recommendations to sustain back pressure with rain cap. (0) Mineral wool insulation 2 inch thick suitable for 400 degree Celsius termperature cladded with aluminium sheet o 30 gauge for the entire length of exhaust pipe. (p) First fill of oil, coolant and diesel during commissioning and 12 hours testing. (q) Interconnecting copper cabling of adequate capacity batteries control. (v) Base frame: Sturdy, fabricated welded construction, channel iron base frame (duly painted) for mounting engine and alternator as per manufacturer's design alonwith AVM pads. (w) External Fuel tank : 10 hrs. full load diesel storage capacity fuel tank other than internal fuel tank of Dg set shall be provided with mounting brackets factory made of 5mm thick HR/MS sheet with level indicator fuel inlet, fuel outlet, air vent, drain plug, in let arrangement for diesel filling fro exterior canopy (without opening its panel) etc complete all as specified and directed. (b) Alternator: Suitable rated 200 KVA or higher, 0.8 pf, 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz at 1500 RPM, self excited and self regulated with AVR brushles, screen protected, drip proof, insulation class-H, IP -23, voltage regulation grade - VG 3 self ventilated and conforming to BS: 5000/IS: 4722 suitable for engine as mentioned here-in before, conformig to IS: 13364(part-1)

(c) Acoustic Enclosure:- M & L for acoustic enclosure for the 200 KVA DG set to reduce noise level to 75 dB measured at 1.0 meter distance for audible frequencies as per guide of Central Pollution Control Board of suitable size and manufacturer's specification and comprising of following from authorised GOEMs of Gen Set manufacturer's specified :- (1) Sound Insulation: 100mm thick Rock wool (Density 64 Kg/Cum). (ii) Outer body: 1.6mm thick CRCA (i) Door: 1.6mm thick CRCA (iv) Base frame: ISMC 300 (v) Inside illumination 1 No.- 1 x 9/10 watt LED lamp

(d) AMF panel : Supply,install,test and commissioning of out door type double door AMF panel made out of 3.0 mm thick CRCA sheet , factory made totally enclosed weather dust and vermin proof as per IS with front opening suitable locking arrangement having aluminium bus bar of 400 Amp capacity for outgoing RYB and neutral and insulated with insulators, including connecting incoming and outgoing cables, with necessary PCC 1:3:6 in foundation and made out of 40 X 40 X 5.0 mm angle iron grouted at ground and 30 cm above from ground level Comprising the following all as specified and as directed by the engineer - in-charge with following :- Note: Cost includes necessary internal wiring for meters , CT's as required for operation of AMF panel , indication lamps,etc and Rigid copper bus bar connections from bus bar to MCCB terminals and suitable size copper wire connection Bus to MCB connections complete all as directed.

MCCB 250 Amp,25 KA - 03 Nos (02 I/C and one for O/G) Power contactor 315 Amp -02 Nos / ATS 315 -01 Nos with necessary necessary Auxillary contactors as required site for smooth operation of AMF panel - 01 Nos Indicating lamp , RYB for Main and DG set Supply - 01 Set and Indicating lamp for Load on DG or Load on Main - 01 Set Note: (i) Contractor has to submit the schmatic diagram of DG set and AMP panel and get it approved from GE before commencemnt of work.The Minor variation of Specifications as listed above , recommended by OEM with out deviating the scope of work should be approved from GE before commencement of work. Note: (ii) Unit rate include the Necessary earth work , PCC foundation for DG set , Battery and Charging system as per OEM Specification . The Diesel required for IEM Inspection /testing by rep of Accepting Officer for the Dg set shall be issued by department to contractor , Contractor has to make necessary arrangement for collection of fuel from MES store to site . (iii) Contractor has to make an MOU with Authorised service centre/Agent of OEM for one year AMC during DLP period for complete maintenance and servicing of Dg set and AMF panel /attending the break down service as per OEM specification and submit the same to GE before completion of Work.

M & L earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below the normal ground level connected with Copper strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts & washers of galvanished iron steel including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, removing surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 m, with and including PCC chamber in PCC (1:2:4) , type B1, using (20 mm graded stone aggregate), mild steel angle iron frame made out of MS angle iron of size 40x40x6 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer hinged with and including 6mm thick CI cover with handle, watering arrangement with funnel internally secured with wire mesh with 20 mm dia medium grade pipe for watering ,40 mm dia light grade GI pipe for lead protection in & including copper - sulphate e all as shown in electrical plate No 5 and connected to earthing test point all as specified and indicated including testing on completion and marking of description of earthing on GI plate grouted on the earth chamber complete all as specified and directed Note : ( i) The Value of Earthing Should be not less than Five Ohm. .
