Over hauling of Existing 5000 GPH pressure filter at Tawa-I Mine of Pathakhera Area

Item:01 Taking out of existing filter media from the esxisting pressure filter, including all lifts, including disposal of the filter media within a lead of 50 metres, as per directions of Engineer-in-charge

Item:02 Repair of the existing pressure filter including repairing of its walls, strainer plate, etc. by welding of cracks & bracing of weak portions, renoal of existing damaged strainers & their disposal within a lead of 50 metres; repair of all other inside fittings (except strainers); painting of inside of the pressure filter shell & inner fittings with 2 coats of water-Proof anticorrosive black bitumastic paint; Painting outer side of the pressure filter shell with 2 coats of water- proof aluminium Paint; etc. all complete

Item No.03 Providing & fixing HDPE strainers of approved type & quality, including cost of fixing them in the M.S.bed plate inside the pressure filter.

Item No.04 Supplying & laying approved quality support gravel (for filter media) consisting of the following layers(thickness of each layer shall be as directed by the Engineer -in- charge): i) Support gravels of size 25mm to 40mm, ii)Support gravels of size 12mm to 25mm iii)Support gravels of size 6mm to 12mm iv)Support gravels of size 4mm to 6mm Conforming to the following specifications/characteristics: Shape - rounded Silica content- minimum 96%

Item No.05 Supplying & laying of approved quality silica sand (for filter media) consisting of the folowing layers (thickness of each layer shall be as directed by the Engineer-in-charge) i) Sand of size 1.0 to 2.0 mm; ii) Sand of size 0.85 to 1.7 mm; iii) Sand of size 0.5 to 1.1 mm; Conform to the following specifications/ characteristics: Silica content -Minimum 97%

Item No. 6 Cleaning of water storage tanks including cleaning of floors, walls ,roofs,etc. and washing with bleaching powder/liquid chlorine solution, all complerte job.
