Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep as in soft/ loose soil and getting out, trimming sides and bottom to required level/ slope, watering and well ramming for foundation etc. not exceeding 10sqm on plan complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes of 150mm internal dia (salt glazed stone were/ AC or reinforced concrete), set in cement mortar, including demolition of haunching & concrete bed and removal of debries outside MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes of 200mm internal dia (salt glazed stone were/ AC or reinforced concrete), set in cement mortar, including demolition of haunching & concrete bed and removal of debries outside MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in bed to 150mm dia SGSW pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of after they are laid and tested in trenches, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in bed to 200mm dia RCC pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of after they are laid and tested in trenches, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for salt glazed stone ware (SGSW) drain pipe 150mm dia, grade 'A', laid in trenches on concrete bed, jointed in cement mortar (1:1) and tested complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 200mm bore reinforced concrete pipes, class NP3, laid and jointed complete with collars, laid in trenches on concrete bed, jointed in cement mortar (1:1) and tested, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 300mm bore reinforced concrete pipes, class NP3, laid and jointed complete with collars, laid in trenches on concrete bed, jointed in cement mortar (1:1) and tested, complete all as specified and directed. Note for item No. 14.00 to 16.00: Concrete bed shall be measured and paid separately.

Dismantling of brick work built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc. stacking of serviceable bricks for re-use and removal of brick bats/ unserviceable bricks for credit and the rubbish outside MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar(1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

All as per serial item No. 18.00 above but except bricks. Note: Old Serviceable bricks retrieved vide serial item No 17.00 shall be reused after proper cleaning and washing.

Demolition of cement concrete unreinforced n. exc. 15cm thickness of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for removal of debris outside MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in channels, benching, bed plate, coping and like, including use and waste necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate, laid in slope (1:20) as in plinth protection including making joints at 3.00 interval and at each corner and filling the joints with mastic filling (to full depth) comprising of one part heated hot blown bitumen 85/25 and two parts heated sand (by volume), finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note: The concrete shall be laid at a stretch not exceeding 3 metre in length and width of joint shall not be more than 12mm.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls or concrete surfaces etc. any description including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water and removal of rubbish outside MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar( 1:4), on new/ old brick or concrete surfaces of walls finished even and fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4), on new/old brick or concrete surfaces of walls, finished even and smooth with using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete (1:1½:3) type A-1 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in precast cover slab for manhole including necessary form work and set in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed. Note: Steel reinforcement bars shall be measured and paid separately.

S&F mild steel TMT bars 8mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending for hooping of columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips as in reinforcement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for mild steel plates/ flats Fe-290 grade E-165 quality as in frames to edges for strengthening of manhole covers, cut or notched forming holes (ordinary or countersunk) as in hold fasts complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling cast iron work of any description and in any position complete all as directed

M&L for 100mm dia cast iron (sand cast) soil, waste and vent pipes, in any length with or without ears, including cement jointing, laid in trenches or under floors complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of solid/ liquid mud deposited in underground sewage lines 100mm/ 150mm bore of any type at any depth between consecutive manholes, by manual roding through connecting manholes, getting out all foreign matter such as solid/ liquid mud etc. complete including removal & refixing of covers and removal of waste outside MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of solid/ liquid mud deposited in underground sewage lines 200mm/ 300mm bore of any type at any depth between consecutive manholes, by manual roding through connecting manholes, getting out all foreign matter such as solid/ liquid mud etc. complete including removal & refixing of covers and removal of waste outside MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning and desilting of septic tanks upto 20 users of any size & depth from solid liquid/ liquid mud etc, and removing sludge outside of defence land, complete including pumping out liquid and liquid sludge with pumping arrangements, labour and machine as required, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning, desilting of septic tanks upto 21 to 50 users, of any size & depth from solid liquid/ liquid mud etc, and removing sludge outside of defence land, complete including pumping out liquid and liquid sludge with pumping arrangements, labour and machine as required, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning, desilting of manholes of dia 1.5metre to 2.0metre and depth exceeding 4.5metre but not exceeding 6.0metre from solid liquid/ liquid mud etc. and removing sludge outside of defence land complete including pumping out liquid and liquid sludge with pumping arrangements, labour and machine as required, complete all as specified and directed. Note for serial item Nos 42 to 49: Contractor shall arrange the sewage suction machine or sewage pump of minimum 5HP along with the equipments to clean the sewage line, MH, septic tank & soakage well etc. and cost in this respect shall be deemed included in the quoted rates of respective items and no extra payment on this account shall be made.

Cleaning solid/ liquid mud deposited in underground sewage lines upto and including 200mm bore of any type between consecutive manholes by hydraulic jet pressure machine through connecting manholes complete including men, machine and water as required including removal and refixing of manhole covers complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning solid /liquid mud deposited in underground sewage lines upto and including 300mm dia bore of any type between consecutive manholes by super suction machine through connecting manholes complete including men, machine and water as required including removal and refixing of manhole covers complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing PTMT/ SS grating for removal of blockage from floor/ Nahani traps including removal of white cement, complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (a) the work will be carried out on complaint basic, day to day as recorded by the users in complaints register. The contractor/ rep of the contractor will collect the complaint slips from B&R complaint cell located near GE (AF) Chandigarh office by 9.00 AM and submit the compliance reports of the same each day by 1730 hrs after rectification failing which penal recovery @ Rs. 50.00 per complaint will be recovered from contractor's dues. (b) Urgent manpower for removal of blockage of any type may be required to be provided by the contractor in day or night (including on Sundays or holidays) on a short notice. If the contractor fails to provide manpower for the specific work, manpower for the same work will be hired from any other source for that urgent job by the department & shall be paid in full by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

Removing blockage from water closet (Indian or European type), urinal, WHB, Floor/ Nahani trap, gully trap etc. including getting out solid/ liquid/ foreign matter/ mud and removing the same in the hygienic manner outside MoD land to make the sewage waste/ sludge waste flow free upto first manhole complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (a) The work will be carried out on complaint basic, day to day as recorded by the users in complaints register. The contractor/ rep of the contractor will collect the complaint slips from B&R complaint cell located near GE (AF) Chandigarh office by 9.00 AM and submit the compliance reports of the same each day by 1730 hrs after rectification, failing which penal recovery @ Rs. 100.00 per complaint will be recovered from contractor's dues. (b) Urgent manpower for removal of blockage of any type may be required to be provided by the contractor in day or night (including on Sundays or holidays) on a short notice. M&L for cleaning of rain water harvesting pits by removing of broken bricks bats/ coarse aggregate of any shape and size from it and filling the same after cleaning of rain water harvesting pits complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair 125mm dia PTMT grating doom (Minimum weight 40gms) with waste hole complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling or paver blocks, chequered tiles etc. including cement mortar bedding and removing rubbish off the premises of MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 7mm to 8mm thick non-skid coloured ceramic tiles (square or rectangular) area of each tile exc. 0.11Sqm but n. exc. 0.18Sqm laid in floor etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry @ 3Kg/Sqm and pointed in white or coloured cement to match laid over and including 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for first quality glazed designer pattern coloured ceramic tiles of size 450mm x 350mm x 7mm or 450mm x 300mm x 7mm thick fixed in pattern to wall (combination of dark and light colour with border) as in skirting, dado laid over and including 10mm thick backing coat in cement mortar (1:3) and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles complete all as specified and directed.
