Point wiring with multi-stranded copper conductor, single core, FRLSH PVC insulated and unsheathed cable, including FRLSH PVC insulated unsheathed stranded copper conductor single core cable as earth continuity conductor to common earth and connected to earth dolly, with and including GI terminal boxes with 3 mm thick plastic laminated sheet cover having necessary cutting for fixing switches/ sockets comprising the following: -

One light point controlled by one switch or one fan point controlled by one switch & fan regulator etc. or for bell/buzzer with 1.5 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable & 1.5 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable as earth continuity conductor, in and including rigid non metallic PVC medium duty concealed conduit all as specified.

One light point controlled by two nos. 2-way switches with 1.5 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable & 1.5 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable as earth continuity conductor, in and including rigid non metallic PVC medium duty concealed conduit all as specified.

One socket outlet three pin, 6/16 Amp, independent, with 2.5 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable & 2.5 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable as earth continuity conductor, in and including rigid non metallic PVC medium duty concealed conduit all as specified.

One socket outlet three pin, 6/16 Amp, independent, with 4 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable & 4 Sq. mm (nominal area) cable as earth continuity conductor, in and including rigid non metallic PVC medium duty concealed conduit all as specified.

NOTES: (a) Switch(es) & socket(s) shall be measured & paid for separately under respective item of Schedule 'A'. (b) GI boxes shall be fixed flush to walls in position with cement mortar (1:4) complete all as directed. (c) Conduit shall be laid on surface in case of RCC ceiling surfaces.

Sub main wiring (with approved colour coding as per IS) with single core FRLSH PVC insulated flexible stranded copper conductor 1.1 KV grade (main cable: number of runs as indicated below along with single core FRLSH PVC insulated flexible stranded copper conductor 1.1 KV grade for earthing in conduits, complete all as specified for the following: -

2 runs of 2.5 Sq. mm main cable + 1 run of 2.5 Sq. mm earth cable

2 runs of 4 Sq. mm main cable + 1 run of 4 Sq. mm earth cable

Rigid non metallic, PVC concealed conduit, 20 mm bore, medium grade, ISI marked, inclusive of all fitings (such as junction boxes, bends, elbows, tees, reducers, bell mouth tube ends) and all fixing acessories such as couplers, lock nuts, saddles, pipe hook etc. for sub main wiring complete all as specified.

Sheet metal enclosure for DB for fixing MCB’s, isolators etc., having IP-43 protection, suitable for surface and flush mounting, complete all as specified comprising the following: -

Collecton of items like ceiling fans, exhaust fans, wall mounted fans, cabin/table fans, flame proof ceiling fans from EM store yard for repair, transporting to workshop, opening and reassembling after including necessary cleaning greasing oiling etc, testing and depositing back to EM store yard of GE (AF) Adampur including necessary loading unloading and transporting etc. complete. NOTE: Supply only spares & rewinding of fan(s) shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of BoQ.

Rewinding fan of any description with super enamelled copper winding wire of size, gauge & weight as per original specifications providing insulating material and varnishing with synthetic varnish, oiling, greasing including replacement of bush/bearing, condenser, 'U' clamp with reel to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including taking out burnt winding wire after opening the ceiling fan and other unserviceable parts, of size: -

NOTE: Collecton of fan items from EM store yard, transporting to workshop and back including loading unloading shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of BoQ.

Taking down carefully copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete with batten, casing caping of MS or and PVC conduit on surface or concealed, including switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, mild steel terminal boxes etc., removing materials and making good disturbed surfaces due to taking down etc. to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge, complete all as specified.

Taking down carefully copper/aluminium sub main wiring complete, including existing batten/conduit consealed/surface etc., removing materials and making good disturbed surfaces due to taking down etc. to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge, complete all as specified.

Dismantling of unservisible existing DBs of any description with all accessories and MCBs, isolators etc. and making good surface as per existing, complete all as specified.

Taking down carefully light fitting of any description, complete all as specified.

Taking down carefully electric bell/buzzer of any description, complete all as specified.

NOTE : (i) Contractor shall make arrangment with AGE E/M, to repair & wiring on required / dally basis. The cost of the same will be included in the quoted rates & nothing extra will be paid to contractor on this account. (ii) To maintain utmost security at AF Station, contractor will arrange his workmen along with T&P in a manner that nonfunctional complaints is made functional swiftly within 24 hour of receiving of complaint from the MES, during entire contract period.. (iii) Not withstanding with the provision of "Compensation for Delay' envisaged under condition 50 of IAFW-2249, General Conditions of Contracts, additional compensation @ Rs. 500/- day will be charged from contractor in case he fails to make the repairs / wiring functional to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge within 24 hour of receiving of complaint from the MES regarding non working repairs / wiring.
