SCHEDULE A BOQ

Note for all items of this BOQ :-

SITE FOR EXECUTION OF WORK :- Tenderer shall note that entire work shall be executed at Runway / taxi track/ Tarmac & around of airfield area.

Due to continuous Flying commitment at Sulur Station, site for execution of work will be available only on Saturday, Sunday, Holiday and non flying days as decided by the ATS authorities.

The tenderer has to arrange his working programme accordingly.

The tenderer has to liaise with the ATS authorities two days prior of his planned works and schedule accordingly.

No claim on account of not giving the entire site after award of work or giving the site in piecemeal manner will not be entertained by the department at any stage.

The quoted rates shall be deemed to be inclusive of above mentioned aspects.

M&L Carrying out skid resistance test (SRT) on flexible and rigid pavement by using british pendulum SRT device and the test shall be carried out in grid pattern of 5m x 5m. The reading shall be taken on dry surface and wet surface condition at each point of surface, five reading shall be taken on each point and average shall be considered. Approximate area is 150000 sqm. Frequency of test shall be decided by air force authorities. Test standard and test procedure are mentioned in airport service manual, to find out the coeffcient of friction of runway before and after the treatment. The report shall be prepared and to be submitted duly recommendation with remedial measures in five copies alongwith photographs.

Note for item No 9:- The T&P like british pendulum SRT device and manpower required to execute above job shall be arranged by the contractor and no extra cost will be paid for the same.

'RUNPHALT' bitumen tubing/ rope for filling of cracks on the runway width of crack 5mm to 7mm with the help of screw driver pushing it inside the crack then apply direct flame 20-30 second through torch method complete all as per manufacturers instruction and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make:- M/s Srijan System PVT Ltd or equivalent as approved by GE

RUNPHALT' bitumen tubing/ rope for filling of cracks on the runway width of crack 8mm to 10mm with the help of screw driver pushing it inside the crack then apply direct flame 20-30 second through torch method complete all as per manufacturers instruction and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge Make:- M/s Srijan System PVT Ltd or equivalent as approved by GE

M & L remove the existing damaged filled sealing compound including polyethylene rod by raking end using blow lamp and cleaning of expansion/construction/dummy joints of concrete pavement free from dust and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces to give a neat finish to the sealant,provision of polyethethylene backup, rod 15-20mm dia in expansion joint and sealed with 10-12 mm thick polyurethane based sealing compund confirming to BS 5212-1990 or equivalent of approved colour after application of suitable primer and removing the masking tape after the sealant filling etc complete all as specified and as per manufacturers instructions. Note :- The size of the joint is 12 to 18 mm wide for expansion joint.

Note for item No 13 :- (a) The existing sealant compound shall be taken out completely using blow lamp and joint shall be cleaned with wire brush and loose particles dust etc shall be removed by using hand pump before applying primer.

(b) Any spillage of material during filling over the slab shall be removed and cleaned by contractor and any damage accrued to the concrete slab will be made good by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

M & L Preparing of old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces using air blowers to remove all loose dirt etc complete and applying cold Polymer Modified bitumen Emulsion (PME) Rejuvenator by spraying with machine of total liquid PME 1.00 Ltr per sqm (undiluted) for two coats with mineral filler as recommended by manufacturer of PME (after diluting with water), each coat diluted in the ratio 1:1 (PME : Water) and ensure uniform finish of PME on Runway surface.PME shall be applied using mechanically operated pump with compressor and nozzle arrangement at uniform pressure and rate, all as per manufacturer instruction and all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Note for item No 16 :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting rate for above item:-

(a) Due care shall be taken for friction parameters during application of PME as per ICAO standard and friction test shall be carried out on newly PME applied surface by using continous friction testing machine.

(b) Friction parameters shall be between 0.3-0.6 after application of PME. It will be the responsibility of the tenderer to arrange portable skid resistance Tester (PSTR) and carry out necessary testing as directed without any extra cost to Govt

(c) Material shall be procured from the authorised manufacturer only.

(d) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the manufacturer only in presence of departmental and user representative.

(e) Two year warranty of material performance and application performance shall be obtained by the tenderer from the authorized manufacturer of PME and the same shall be submitted to GE on completion of work as specified . Warranty includes the fact that the structure will remain water tight and no further cracks will be formed, excluding damage caused by natural calamities. Permeability test (ASTM D 2434) to be conducted on the surface prior and after to application of treatment.

(f) A sum of 2% of the quoted amount shall be retained out of the final bill amount as security deposit and the same shall be released to the contractor after satisfactory expiry of two years performance guarantee period. A performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the tenderer to GE on completion of work as specified.

(g) care shall be taken to fill gaps/cracks up-to 3mm size with mineral filler as per manufacturer's instructions.

(h) Mineral filler (fibrous cum quartz powder) shall be added as per manufacturers instruction.

(j) Electric supply shall be arranged by the tenderer at its own arrangements and rate is deemed to be inclusive.

(k) The tenderer shall adhere to time frame as per the user's requirement and as per demand. The demand and the location of work will be intimated to the tenderer either by rep of User/ MES rep well in advance. In case of failure to attend the demand in in time, penalty will be levied for each day @ Rs. 1000/-per day for non completing the requirement till completion of work. This penalty is exclusively other than condition 56 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract.

(l) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

(m) The nature of work is related to Flight safety. Hence no delay is acceptable.

(n) minus price adjustment shall be applicable if quantity of PME using less than specified and the rate shall be worked out based on paid voucher and market enquiry.

(o) plus price adjustment shall be not applicable if quantity of PME Applied more than specified as per surface conditon is required.

Applying one coat of water based road marking paint such as lines, dashes, arrows, letters, boxes etc on roads, pavements and the like including complete removal of existing surfaces by brushes/ mechanical grinder/sand papers, making surface rough to hold paint exceeding 10 cm wide all as specified and as directed using mechanical pavement marking machine including necessary DG Set required to operate the machine. Complete scraping / removal of existing paint deemed to be inclusive in the above quoted rate.

Note for item No 33 :- (i) During weekdays site will be available for approximate 4 to 5 hours due to aircraft movements such as landing/takeoff.

(ii) During weekend days site will be available for 5 to 6 hours. Contractor shall consider the above points while quoting the rate and no extra payment shall be claim by the contractor on account of this.

M & L Applying Epoxy primer @ 0.45Kg/Sqm over old epoxy surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Filling the cracks in flexible pavement surface of any size by applying bitumen emulsion @ 0.50 litre per running metre and filled with paste by mixing quartz sand, sand, cement and emulsion in the ratio of 1:10:0.50 and shall be applied in one or two coats to ensure complete filling of the cracks in line with existing pavement structures complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L repairs to airfield cracks using Single component 'Aspha-Flo' coal tar free signature grade Gilsonite modified Asphalt emulsion, special polymers and additives streaming crack, joint stuffer to prevent cracks from forming into pot holes and filling of cracks and joints on asphaltic surface of the runway and capable to be applied directly on damp pavement also all as per manufacturer's instructions as specified and directed.

Note for item No 38 :- The coverage for different size of cracks shall be as given below:- (i) 24.20 meter/Ltr for 6mm (width) x 6mm (Depth) crack (ii) 6.05 meter/ L for 13mm x 13mm crack (iii) 2.10 meter/ L for 25mm x 25mm crack . (iv) Back-up rod to be used in case depth is more than 25mm.

M&L Chipping out neatly and cutting of existing loose concrete of crack at Runway/taxi track/Pavement by using saw cutter, Cutting of crack portion shall not be less than 100 mm wide and 25 mm deep and clearing of all loose material with air blower/sand blaster and the portion applying proprietory primer on surface to obtain tack and finally filled by Elastomeric concrete mix shall be prepared as per manufacturer instruction to obtain true surface and finally set the surface with hand tools complete all as specified and directed. Make:-M /s Fosroc Chemicals - Patchroc Chemicals, M/s STP Limited- ShaliPatch.and M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt Ltd. -Flex 0 patch.

Note for item No 40 :- The tenderer shall take into consideration the following points while quoting rate for above item:-

(a) Providing masking tape at joints/ on edge of cut portion and necessary formwork required if any at spalled joints edge to prevent accidental spillage of concrete on top surfaces to give a neat finish. The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of this provision.

(b) The rate is deemed to be included for making good the distrubed portion of joint filling around the area where material are applied.

(c) Material shall be procured from the authorised manufacturer only.

(d) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the manufacturer only in presence of departmental and user representative.

M&L Cleaning of existing cover drain / open drain of any width and depth upto 15 cm by using jet water pressure mechanical pump,suction pump and removing mud/silt, vegetation growth, plants/small trees etc to a distance 50m , including repairing cracks in cement mortar (1:3) where noticed in surface of drain all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 46 :- (a) The work to be executed in highly restricted area.

(b) The unit rate is deemed to be included for removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 1m from both side of the drain to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.

(c) The unit rate deemed to be considered for First Aid and necessary safety arrangements equipment’s to be provided by the tenderer for workman.

(d) The tenderer shall adhere to time frame as per the user’s requirement and as per demand. The demand and the location of work will be intimated either by the rep of user/ MES rep well in advance. In case of failure to attend the demand in time penalty will be levied for each day @ Rs 500/ for non-completing the requirement till completion of work. The nature of the work related to Airfield maintenance, hence the delay is not acceptable.

M&L Applying one coat of white wash on walls /concrete pavement surface including preparation of old surfaces all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 51 :- White wash shall be carried out two or more times at an interval as required by air force authorities at ORA 05 & 23 END only. Payment of each coat shall be measured and paid seperately.

M & L Preparing of old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface using air blowers to remove all loose dirt etc complete and applying of slurry seal containing cold Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME), fine aggregate, mineral fillers, water and spraying the material (slurry seal) having average thickness of 6 mm as per site condition, should be designed such that the initial setting time should be of 2-3 hours but not more than 4 hours and ensure uniform finish of area complete all as per manufacturer’s instructions and all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The mixing of PME and specially designed filler should be mixed in the ratio 2.5 : 1 (filler : PME) to form slurry and should be done mechanically by high power agitator 90 RPM.

Note for item No 53 :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting rate for above item:-

Warranty includes the fact that the structure will remain water tight and no further cracks will be formed, excluding damage caused by natural calamities. Permeability test (ASTM D 2434) to be conducted on the surface prior and after to application of treatment.

(k) The contractor shall adhere to time frame as per the user's requirement and as per demand. The demand and the location of work will be intimated to the contractor either by rep of User/ MES rep well in advance. Incase of failure to attend the demand in in time, penalty will be levied for each day @ Rs. 1000/- for non completing the requirement till completion of work. Note that this penalty is exclusively other than condition 56 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract.

(l) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

(j) The nature of work is related to Flight safety. Hence no delay is acceptable.

Note for item No 69 :- (i) During week days site will be available for approximate 4 to 5 hours only due to aircraft movements such as landing/takeoff .

(ii) During weekend days site will be available for 5 to 6 hours. Tenderer shall consider the above points while quoting the rate and no extra payment shall be claimed by the tenderer on account of this.

M & L applying two coat of water based paint of black colour on runway/taxiway/apron or other airfield markings of any size and length on runway/taxiway/apron or other airfield markings of any size and length including letters and numeral markings with suitable mechanical pavement marking machine, including removal of existing complete painted area and cleaning of the area by means of wire brushes/ mechanically complete and removal and surfaces exceeding 10 cm wide where directed and all as specified and as directed.

M & L applying one coat of water based paint of yellow/orange/red colour on runway/taxiway/apron or other airfield markings of any size and length including letters and numeral markings with suitable spray machine , including removal of existing complete luminious paint area and cleaning of the area by means of wire brushes/ mechanically complete and removal where directed and all as specified and as directed.

M&L 100 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, as in flooring/paths/paving etc laid in panels , surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement including making 10mm joints with 40mm depth of PCC at every 3 metres and at every change of direction and filling the same with & including bitumen and sand 1:2 sealing compound by weight complete including demolishing existing concrete and disposal to outside MD land all as specified and as directed. Note:- The concrete shall be laid at a stretch not exceeding 3 meter in length and width of joint shall not be more than 12 mm.

M & L remove the existing damaged filled sealing compound including polyethylene rod by raking end using blow lamp and cleaning of expansion/construction/dummy joints of concrete pavement free from dust and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces to give a neat finish to the sealant,provision of polyethethylene backup, rod 25-35mm dia in expansion joint and sealed with 10-12 mm thick polyurethane based sealing compund confirming to BS 5212-1990 or equivalent of approved colour after application of suitable primer and removing the masking tape after the sealant filling etc complete all as specified and as per manufacturers instructions. Note :- The size of the joint is 20 to 30 mm wide for expansion joint.

Note for item No 75 :- (a) The existing sealant compound shall be taken out completely using blow lamp and joint shall be cleaned with wire brush and loose particles dust etc shall be removed by using hand pump before applying primer.

(b) Any spillage of material during filling over the slab shall be removed and cleaned by contractor and any damage accrued to the concrete slab will be made good by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

M&L in repairs of mooring rings Making circular hole of dia 200 mm and depth 50 mm in to M40 concrete, cut to shape using concrete by DCH 300 of HILTI DD 200 machine (water cooled), making holes 2 Nos of dia 24 mm and depth 200 mm using TE 70 combi hammer, grouting the holes with HILTI HY 150 injection chemical for 2 holes (Approx 100 ml per hole) & fixing of inverted U shaped 20 mm dia round bars (Mooring Ring) with a minimum of 200 mm anchorage in to concrete and filling up the circular portion of 200 mm dia after grouting the re-bar using solid grout with high flow non-shrink cementious grout "conbextra" after applying a bonding coat using 'Nito Bond EP' as per manufacturer's instructions including 80 mm outer dia ring made out of 16 mm MS round bar fixed into U shaped 20 mm dia bars and painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer to exposed surfaces of round bars etc complete all as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of FOD TRAP / Grating of any description not other wise provided for and refixing after getting in good position by tighting/ welding complete all as specified and directed.

Note for Item No 79 :- Additional required mild steel shall be measured and paid separately as supply only. However, labour element for fabrication, erection,fixing and welding, with ends of bars shouldered and/ or riveted all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. is deemed to be included in this item.

Supply only framed work such as gratings, angles or tees, beam, channel with web and flanges etc for FOD TRAP complete all as specified and directed.

M & L PCC 1:1½:3 type A-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling, posts, bed blocks and similar works including dismantling and form work complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing not exc 15 cm deep in soft/loose soil all as specified and as directed.

M & L levelling of runway shoulders with grader mechanical machine and rolling of surface with road roller of capacity 8-10 tonne, including removal of boulders and other materials obtained from area and all as specified and directed.

Note for Item No 84 :- (a) The contractor shall adhere to time frame as per the user's requirment and as per demand. The demand and the location of work will be intimated either by rep of User/ MES rep well in advance.

(b) Incase of failure to attend the demand in time penalty will be levied for each day @ Rs 1000/- for non completing the requirment till completion of work. Note that this penalty is exclusively other than condition 56 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract.

(c) The decision of Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final & binding.

(d) The nature of work is related to Air Field maintenance. Hence delay is not acceptable.

M & L rolIing and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting/ filling to the required gradient and camber including filling in depression and hollow, watering, leveling etc., complete using tandem vibratory/ power roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne capacity all as specified and as directed.

Note for Item No 89 :- Rolling and consolidation the formation surfaces to the required gradient and camber under optimum moisture conditions to achieve at least 98% of maximum dry density determined using modified proctor density determination method as per relevant IS code.

M & L moorum/red bajri filling including spreading and levelling in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed Including watering and rolled to true surfaces with 8 to 12 Ton capacity power roller to achieve compaction of 98% modified proctor density complete all as specified.

Note for Item No 91:- (i) Moorum/red bajri required shall be brought from outside MD land

(ii) Compaction of moorum filling shall be carried out under optimum moisture conditions up to the standard proctor density not less than 98 percent.

(iii) Measurements shall be taken after consolidation earth and 5% deduction shall be made for payments.

M & L for repair to existing construction joints of flexible pavement of size 10 to 20 mm wide and 25 cm depth (average) consisting of following activities

Raking out old decayed/damaged existing sealings compound and cleaning the joints thoroughly by removing dust, dirt foreign material by appropriate electric cutter / diamond cutter and Air Compressor. After cleaning the joints thoroughly, it shall got approved by GE before progressing further.

Removing the existing sealing composing from the edges, bottom and sides of the joints by cutting edges, bottom and sides of the joints 1 mm of the existing construction joints (upto full depth of existing joints) by mechanical tool (diamond cutter) to make the cross section of joint truly rectangular. Note :- Cleaning the edges/sides/bottom of joints by using diamond cutter only and clean surfaces shall got approved by GE. When the cleaning process approved by GE, primer and joint filling done in presence of Engr-in-Charge.

Once again cleaning the joints with compressed air and applying two primer coats upto the 10 to 15mm or above bake up rod depth & width of the existing joints after an interval of 30 minutes to complete prepred surface the joints.

Sealing the joints with polyurethane joints sealant/ X-Seal traffic loop resin type component flexible polyester loop lighting (upto 10 to 15mm or above bake up rod of existing joint) all as per manufacturers instruction including applying masking tap on edges of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealent on top surface and removing the tap after sealent is applied complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 96 to 100 :- (i) Material shall confirm to BS (manufacturer : FOSROC (COLPOR-200 gray) or Chemtallraj India Pvt Ltd. (RALLITHANE) OR STP Ltd (Shalifax PU) OR CICO OR Cippy ply seal. And CALIBUR Construction chemistey- X-seal traffic loop-power component.

Electric supply shall be arranged by the contractor at its own arrangements and rate deemed to be inclusive.

S & F SS Sign board pattern (SS to SS-7), fully retro reflective sign board made of 3mm thick ACP (Aluminum composit panel) sheet framed with 40mm round SS pipe having front/back (both) side entire surface fully bonded with retro reflective sheeting of HIP (High Intensive Prismatic) grade having pressure sensitive adhisive. boarders and message as indicated cut out. Back ground in Blue and matter in white colour tape having two posts of 50mm round SS pipe 3.0mtr long including excavating post holes of 30 x 30 x 30 cm and embedded in PCC 1:3:6 and including taking down and removing rubbish material to outside MD land complete and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

M & L Providing 75mm thick plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub base to tiles complete including demolition of concrete and removing rubish material to out side MD land all as specified and directed .

M & L Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63 mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface including demolition of existing undulated hardcore surface and removing the same complete all as specified and directed.

M&L taking down the cover slab/ welded wire mesh/ steel channels etc of existing covered Rain water pit of size 6 meter dia, cleaning up to depth 7.5 meter removing mud/silt, vegetation growth, plants/small trees etc to ouside MD land, and refix the cover slab after cleaning of pit including repairing of cracks in cement mortar (1:3) where noticed in surface and making good complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 106 :- (a) The work to be executed in highly restricted area.

(b) The unit rate is deemed to be included for removing of the mud/silt obtained from the rain water pit and accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 1m from the outer wall of the rain water pit to outside MD land. The periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs

(c) The unit rate deemed to be considered for First Aid and necessary safety arrangements equipment’s to be provided by the tenderer for workman.

(d) The tenderer shall adhere to time frame as per the user’s requirement and as per demand. The demand and the location of work will be intimated either by the rep of user/ MES rep well in advance. M&L in repairs welded steel wire fabric cut to length,bent to shape required and tying with and including annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or fixing with galvanised steel staples supplied and fixed complete to wood or steel members not excceding 4Kg/Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L cutting, removing damage portion of concrete surface in square/ rectangular shape for depth of 20 to 30mm thick, cleaning the surface with wire brush or cloth and removing the dirt including the wetness and dampness by means of dryer and supply and laying geo polymer based "Geo Krete - of Make eco materials or equivalent in Fosroc chemicals/ Tiki Tar/ M/s STP Limited/sika india pvt ltd rapid setting curing free semi levelling structural mortar of single compound activated by water for quick construction & levelled the surface to match with existing surface all as per manufacturer’s instructions as specified & directed. The geopolymer based water impermeable concrete resurfacing mortar shall have compressive strength of 15 M Pa in 2 hours and 50 M Pa in 28 days without any water curing and curing compounds having a water penetration of less than 2 MM when tested as per DIN 1048 and RCPT valve of less than 800 coloumbs when tested as per ASTM C 1202.

Note for Item No 112 :- The tenderer shall take into consideration the following points while quoting rate for above item:-

(a) The rate deemed to be included for making good to disturbed portion around the area where material are applied.

(b) Material shall be procured from the authorised manufacturer only.

(c) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the manufactor only in presence of departmental rep.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C2 (40 mm graded stone aggregate) as concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested for pipes of size 150 mm bore of pipe, complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Reinforced concrete pipes class NP-2 with one collar per length of pipe laid fixed to trenches 150 mm bore including demolition of existing pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc., including removing debris material to out side MD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Brickwork with fly ash bricks using modular size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed

M & L Walling of random rubble, masonary (harder stones), uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only water proofing compound

M & L Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note : WPC shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item here-in above.

M & L remove the existing damaged filled sealing compound including polyethylene rod by raking end using suitable equipment and cleaning of joints of Bitumen pavement in full depth, 15-20cm deep and clean the joint properly to make free flow for water to drainout easly from the joint and free from dust and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces to give a neat finish to the sealant,provision of polyethylene backup rod 10 mm to 15 mm dia in joint and sealed with polyurethane seleant based or equivalent sealing compound, 10 mm-12mm thick above back up rod confirming to BS 5212-1990 or equivalent of approved colour after application of suitable primer and removing the masking tape after the sealant filling etc complete all as specified and as per manufacturers instructions. The size of the joint is 8mm to12mm wide for construction/dummy joint.

Note for item No 125 :- (a) The existing sealant compound shall be taken out completely using blow lamp and joint shall be cleaned with wire brush and loose particles dust etc shall be removed by using hand pump before applying primer.

(b) Any spillage of material during filling over the slab shall be removed and cleaned by contractor and any damage accrued to the concrete slab will be made good by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

M&L DTGM board black colour 4mm thick acrylic sheets 02 Nos each of size 1.50 x 1.20 m with 100 mm dia air pressure clearance circle 8 Nos on each board including acrylic polishing, fixing of retro reflective stickers (red colour) of length 1.00 m and width 0.15m on each board, fixing the boards to 3 nos of 63mm dia PVC pipe heavy duty (Class 5 -IS 4985) 10Kgf/Cm2 as vertical post of approx height 2.48 m each pipe covered at top with PVC caps on each pipes and inter connecting the vertical PVC pipes at top,middle, bottom portion with 25mm dia PVC pipes 15 Kgf/cm2 (IS 4985) fixed with PVC bushes and screws, erecting the frames in GI/MS pipes etc including taking down existing one complete and all as directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L Retro Reflective tape in any pattern, shape/number/letters on old existing boards after cleaning including removing of existing letters/tape complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Filling the pit holes in concrete surfaces of size n exc 15mm in dia and 20mm in deep by using a mixture of quartz sand No 9 -450 parts by weight, Hardner Hy 140-50 parts by weight and araldite GY 257-100 parts by weight to form a hard paste and filling the pit holes after cleaning the dust particles with blower and applying primer coat with epoxy resin of mix with formulation of 100 parts of araldite GYZ 57 and 50 parts of hardner Hy 840 by weight and ramming with hammer to make a uniform surface to match with the existing concrete surfaces all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 130 :- (a) Contractor shall provide 02 Nos of skilled manpower to execute the job on as required basis all as per directed by Engineer in charge.

(b) A pucca register shall be maintained by the contractor and signature of Engr -in-charge and air force authorities to be obtained daily to authenticate the presence of labourers. payment will be made on day basis. This register will form part of RAR/final bill for making the payment.

(c) The contractor shall adhere to time frame as per the user's requirement and as per demand. The demand and the location of work will be intimated either by rep of User/ MES rep well in advance. Incase of failure to attend the demand in time penalty will be levied @ Rs. 500/- per day for non completing the requirement till completion of work. Note that this penalty is exclusively other than condition 56 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract.

(d) The nature of work is related to Runway Maintenance. Hence no delay is acceptable.

(e) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regards shall be final and binding.
