REPAIRS / REPLACEMENT OF UG CABLES AND ITS CONNECTED WORKS AT ZAKHAMA MILITARY STATION UNDER AGE(I) ZAKHAMA

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for laying cables, foundation for pole, etc and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming of soil in layers n. exc 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil to distance n. exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and labour for sand filling around the cable with approved quality coarse sand for sand cushioning of Under ground cable including spreading and punning down to requirred thickness complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Thickness of sand cushioning after punning down shall be measured for payment purpose.

Materials and labour for brick protection cover to underground cables with sub class ‘B’ over burnt brick of size 23 X 11.5 X 7.5 cm, (locally available best quality), laid dry and flat abutting each other with gaps not exceeding 10mm complete all as specified and as directed.

M& L for Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 100mm height, 65mm dia for 1100 volts grade, including taking down of old ones complete all as specified and as directed.

M& L for Loop type insulator, vitreous porcelain, white, brown or green Large size, with overall dimensions 90mmx140mm, clearance of hole 25.5mm for 1100 volts grade with suitable size of insulator bolts,washers and nuts etc, including taking down of old ones complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surface of 9/11 metre long steel pole with cross arms and brackets and two applying two coats of aluminium paint and writing pole nos with synthetic enamel black japan paint at a height of 1.5 mtr above ground level and black and yellow strips of 30cm each 3 nos complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps, eye hook and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including pole clamps, stay clamps, D clamps nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed including painting with one coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including taking down the old unserviceable cross arms, clamps etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for ACSR conductors (weasel type) for LT OH lines on poles including stringing, binding with aluminium wire 14 SWG or aluminium tape including jumpers complete connecting of disconnected cable, service cable and street light connection including taking down the old unserviceable ACSR conductor of any type complete all as specified and as directed.
