REPAIR TO CERTAIN INTERNAL ROADS AND ROAD FURNITURE UNDER AGE B/R-II OF GE GWALIOR

Scarifying or picking graveled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm each and depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for WBM of 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) with coarse aggregate (granite or basalt stone) of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with power roller 8 to 12 ton complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing surfaces of un-surfaced WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc applying evenly a priming/tack coat with using paving bitumen VG-10, @ 10 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam with using paving bitumen VG-30, as 4 % by weight of total mix laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for preparing old black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying evenly a priming/tack coat with using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 sq metre complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for providing bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete (design mix) 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, with using paving bitumen VG-30 laid / spread uniformly by means of pavers over primed black top surfaces, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-charge. Note : Filling of any pot holes (coming in the area to be re-carpeted) in the item not exc 30mm depth by material of premix asphaltic semi dense concrete is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Repair to potholes any depth not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, with using paving bitumen VG-10, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder (paving bitumen VG-30) @ 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L moorum /red bajri filling in floors or paving laid in layers not exceeding 15cm thick spread levelled and rammed including watering complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for retro reflective thermo plastic road marking paint 2.00 mm thick, uniform finish yellow / white in colour, applied by machine, not exceeding 15 cm in width all as specified and conforming to BS 3262-1989 including cleaning of surface completed all as specified and as directed.

S&F CAT Eye (Road stud) of size 100mm x 100mm x 25mm (Model : DA 51) made by polycarbonate moulded body with electronically welded prismatic retro lange on both sides for max reflection in wet or dry condition to be fixed with bituminous adhesive as per MORTH specification complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. S & F in repairs for solar road stud LED based intelligent road studs of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (Model : DA110-DHRUV) made from aluminium alloy and construction. One high capacity Ni-Cd rechargeable battery with view distance approximate 1000m, LEDs 010mm, 3 pieces each side and total 6 pieces are used for high brightness of different colour back up 12 hours of continuous lighting at night including fixing with epoxy screed bed all as per manufacturer Instruction or directed by Engr-in-Charge.
