PROVISION OF WATER PROOF EMULSION COATING APEX ULTIMA PAINT OF EQUIVALENT INLIEU OF SNOWCEM PAINT ON EXTERNAL SURFACE OF BUILDINGS PHASE 4 AT LRDE UNDER GE I R AND D WEST BANGALORE

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement base paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 18 mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12 mm thick cement plaster 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) and a top layer 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) including mixing of water proofing compound finished rough with sponge complete all as specified and as directed. Note: WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for 6 mm cement plaster of mix :1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only water proofing compound materials.

Cutting of small trees / plants at the stem and removal of the roots of plants by using acids, chemical / burning with blow lamp, cutting around the sport for removing the roots of any size and making good with cement mortar 1:3 including two coats of cement base paint / acrylic emulsion up to height 4 storey complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : (i) Rates are deemed to inclusive of all types of scaffholding / hanging arrangements as specified) (ii) Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to four story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.

M&L for Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm) with 1mm tk wall care putty complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Finishing walls with textured exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.28 ltr/10 sqm) over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20kg/10 sqm with 1mm tk wall care putty complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

M&L for Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness), including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement : 5.2.2 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for :Columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts and struts complete all as specified and as directed

Steel reinforcement TMT bar of grade Fe-500D or more for RCC work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all above plinth level complete all as specified and as directed
