MAINT AND PAINTING OF ETSR STORES HELD AT OLD AIR FIELD SRINAGAR.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surface of any description over 10 cm in width or girth not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthethic enamel paint on various components of Bailey Bridge, Aluminium Bridge and BAFH . Necessary work will be carried out where the stores are stacked/kept. Paint (Olive Green/Smoke Grey/red/black/White) all as specified and as directed. Note : For shifting and restacking of respective store items will be paid separatly under item No. 2 of this BOQ.

Labour only for taking out and shifting of bridging stores as mentioned below and other components from existing stacking to open and hard surface, spreading for cleaning and painting distance not exceeding 50 mtr from the existing stack and for shifting back these stores to the stacking carefully without damaging the other structure from the respective site of stack/store shed if any damage penalty will be born by the contractor without any extra payment by the department as specified and as directed.

Necessary work will be carried out at the site where the stores are stacked/kept. Paint (Aluminium/ Smoke Grey/ red/ black/ White) in complete all as specified and as directed. Note : For shifting and restacking of respective store items will be paid separatly under item No. 2 of this BOQ.

M&L for applying Non skid carborundum grade – 24 directly 2.373 kg/sqm with use of hardener and softener Araldite on various components of Bridge BAFH & Aluminium Bridge as mentioned. Necessary work will be carried out at the site where the stores are stacked/kept. Paint (Olive Green/Smoke Grey/red/black/White) in complete all as specified and as directed. Note : For shifting and restacking of respective store items will be paid separatly under item No. 2 of this BOQ.

M&L for applying superior quality of creosote oil on wooedn surface of various components of Bailey Bridge/ Extra Wide Bailey Bridge by socking in all for not less then 60 minutes the items for dipping, maint/preservation of normal Bailey bridge & extra wide Bailey bridge. Necessary work will be carried out at the site where the stores are stacked/kept or in the sheds complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Srl Item No- 5 : Rates are including taking out/shifting the said wooden items for normal bailey bridge and extra wide bailey bridge carefully without damaging the other structure from the respective site of stack/store shed, layout them separately on the hard surface at proper distance between each items and distance of work area will not be exceeding 50 mtrs from the existing stack and then removing the fungus and other termites from the wooden items by using suitable emery paper, cotton waste and wire brush etc. After cleaning the wooden items it shall be dipped in the preservation tray for minimum 60 minutes with creosote oil for better soaking as per the preservation method. Restacking all the wooden items at proper place/dunnage after complete drying effect all under the supervision of BSO/SKT as per the direction of OIC 572 ESP. All labour charge and complete reqd materials/machinery tools including dipping vessel as per reqd length will be provided by the contractor.Items reqd for carrying out the job like emery paper, cotton waste, wire brush, rope & gloves etc items will be supplied by the contractor.

M & L for demolition of old unserviceable precast cement concrete blocks of any description in any position complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for precast cement concrete hollow block masonry type (1:3:6) using 16 mm graded crushed stone aggregate exceeding 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortor 1:4 , complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cutting, removing and dispose off the unwanted bushes and vegetation with roots including levelling the area by using man power and machinery like JCB at the induction yard, office area and inside the stacking of bridging eqpt. Including trimming/pruning of trees along the channel track fencing of perimeter and one mtr outside the perimeter including removing the waste from the induction yard complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for applying two coats of French Chalk Powder on Float heavy for Bridge Assault Floating Heavy including taking out from wooden box packing for cleaning and applying French Chowk Powder carried out for other area not more then 20 mtrs distance from the existing stack and restaking the same after application of French Chalk Powder, Folding and Packing in wooden boxes as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying Oil and Greasing of parts of ETSR stores kept in 572 Engr Sub Park and stacking back to designated places not exceeding 20 Mtr, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Aluminium welding in repairs exc 2.5 cm but not exc 5 cm in length on various components of ETSR Stores held with 572 Engr Sub Park, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : For shifting and restacking of respective store items will be paid separatly under item No. 2 of this BOQ.

M&L for Iron/Steel welding in repairs exc 2.5 cm but not exc 5 cm in length on various components of ETSR Stores held with 572 Engr Sub Park, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : For shifting and restacking of respective store items will be paid separatly under item No. 2 of this BOQ.
