Catheter Material a) Biocompatible thermoplastic polym er, polyurethane-based (PUR), exhibiting temperature- responsive softening at 37%B0C (%B1 2%B0C) to re duce vessel trauma during indwelling use.b) Plain PVC catheters, or catheters not meeting the kink-resistan ce criteria shall not be accepted.c) Manufacturer's material datasheet and independent biocompatibility tes t report (ISO 10993 series) must be submitted with the technical bid. 5. Kink resistant. a)The catheter shall withstand a 90%B0 bend at a radius of %u226410 mm without complete lumen occlusion. b) On release of the induced bend, flow shall be restored to %u226590% of nominal unobstructed flow rate. c) Compliance shall be demonstrated via test report per ASTM F2343 or an equivalent internationally recognised method, from an independent/accredited laboratory or the manufacturer's certified in-house lab with NABL/ISO 1702 5 accreditation ,6.
