8146-REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF HT CABLE AND ALLIED EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION WORKS AT AT AREA OF OTA CHENNAI UNDER GE STM

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m depth and not exceeding 1.5 m depth and getting out soft / loose soil for laying cables / pipes / erection of poles etc.

Removing excavated material (soil) not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point.

Returning filling in soil including spreading levelling watering well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm each.

Supply and lay in trenches river sand clean including spreading / levelling, cushioning for underground cables all as specified and directed. Note:- Punned thickness only shall be measured and paid.

Supplying and laying reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, Flat, size 300 mm x 180 mm x 40 mm complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and laying in trenches/poles/wall /culvert/Bridge etc HT UG Cable XLPE insulated with multistranded aluminium conductor armoured with galvanised steel wire / taps 11000 volts grade conforming to IS specifications and of size 120 Sq mm 3 Core.

Supply and install switch Air Break gang operated triple pole ,mechanically operated mounted on insulator and steel frame with operating mechanism worked from ground level complete with 9 insulators of rating upto 200 Amp 11000 volts including taking down complete all specified and directed .

S&L Pipes galvanized, “Medium grade”, supplied and laid complete including fittings of size 100 mm dia all specified and directed,pipes for protection of UG cable and require to lay throughout the Bridge with necessary climping arrangement and all as directed by Engr-in-charge .

Dismantling of LT and HT connections, neutral /body earthings from the U/S Transformer and keep in safe custody for reuse. Shifting the U/S Transformer from the site to the civil workshop for necessary repairs alongwith replacement of unserviceable parts. Opening the U/S transformer after removing the top cover and carry out thorough investigation/checking. Taking out the core from the Transformer and dismantling the discs of burnt core completely after deceasing of Transformer oil, disconnection the internal connection. Store the oil in suitable airtight containers. Deslugging and cleaning the internal portion of steel tank completely. Rewinding the burnt two Nos disc with suitable sizes of copper wire as required including insulated with insulation materials. Cleaning the other two limb completely and heating varnishing the core in heat chamber with varnish and heat treatment completely. Dehydration of transformer oil 415 Ltrs to achieve minimum dielectric strength of 50KV.Reassembling the core stampings, lowering the cores in steel tank of transformer and making necessary internal connection with replacement of parts as per requirement. Pouring the dehydrated Transformer oil in tank including supply and pouring of New Transformer oil 70 Ltrs of min 50KV dielectric strength for topping up. Making all the connection after refixing of top cover and testing the transformer in full load up to satisfactory performance and necessary painting of transformer outer body with synthetic enamel paint as per existing colour all as per directions of Engr-in-charge. Note: Transportation of repaired transform from civil workshop to LH Power house OTA included in coated rates.

Removing silica gel from the breather assembly of transformer of various transformer of 500 KVA and providing fresh Silica gel in the breather.

Dismantling and removing the following unserviceable parts/items from the transformer of various capacity including supply and fixing new parts/items :-

Terminal brass spindles, bush and check nuts with threads suitable for HT 11 KV primary terminals of transformer upto 500 KVA capacity.

Terminal brass spindles, bush and check nuts with threads suitable for LT 0 - 433 Volt secondary terminals of transformer upto 500 KVA capacity.

Earthling complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below normal ground level with the top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connected to GI earth strip 25X4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made out of GI and GI earth strip projected by 15 mm bore light grade GI pipe and connected to main control board all as shown in electrical plate No 5 of SSR Part I including necessary earth work and excavation in any type of soil and PCC 1 : 2 : 4 type B - 1 in chamber and 40 mm thick RCC 1 : 2 : 4 type B - 1 cover slab with 6 mm dia mild steel bars at 100 mm centre to centre both ways with 6 mm dia M S hooks complete all as specified.
