Laying of Above Ground Fire Hydrant Water pipelines of steel including pipes supplied by IOCL on pedestals/sleepers/overhead pipe rack/structures upto 20 M height etc. Pipes in the scope of IOC shall be supplied anywhere within the terminal area and the contractor shall shift the same to the site of work at no extra cost with all leads and lifts. The pieline laying includes cutting, positioning, setting, fixing the pipe fittings such as elbows, bends tees, reducers etc., complete with supports as per drawings, hydro testing and painting of the pipelines as per specification. Note: a. Charges for welding of pipelines, Pipe Fittings inclduing edge preparation, DP Testing & radiography testing shall be paid seperately under respective item. b. The job includes Blast cleaning (using Slag/ Shots) & painting of the outer surfaces of above ground pipeline/ fittings/ specials all leads & lifts etc. complete as per enclosed specifications and instructions at site. c. The primer and paint shall be as per the list of paint manufacturers enclosed. The make and quality of paint shall be decided in consultation with IOC prior to use. d. Pipe length indicated against each size is tentaive as per drawing. Payment will be made for the actual quantity executed at site. e. Pipeline colour coding shall be carried out as per IOC specifications at no extra cost for product piping. f. Structural Pipe Rack / Pedestals are not part of this item. g. Rate is inclusive of water required for hydrotesting. Water used for hydro-testing to be disposed off in environmentally friendly way after treatment. Reuse of water used for hydro testing of piping or tanks to be avoided or is possible only after getting confirmation from site incharge. h. Item includes cleaning of Pipeline after hydrotesting with compressed air / Cardboard Blasting as directed by Site in-Charge for fully draining of water / debris from the Pipeline. Also, cleaning of Pipeline to be carried out before/ during commissioning with product at no extra cost as per direction of Site in-Charge. i. Rate is inclusive of U Clamps wherever required.

Fabrication & Edge preparation for butt weld as per ASME B 31.3, tack welding, and final welding (3 runs minimum) of Fire Hydrant Water pipelines including pipe fittings (i.e. Elbows, Tees, Reducers, Olets, Couplings etc. except Flanges) by welders qualified as per ASME Section IX with supply of approved electrodes/consumables, welding machine, tools & tackles etc. No extra payment will be made for conducting tests for establishibg welding procedure (PQR and WPS) as per ASME Section IX and Third Party Inspection. The rate also includes the branch connection of smaller diameter Pipe to run Pipe, Pipe to Pipe connection, with Reinforcement Pad (RF Pas)as per specifictaion. RF Pads shall be paid on the basis of one weld joint on main pipe on which RF pad is welded.

Note: 1) Re-taking of radiography due to defective welds/ defective films/ defective workmanship etc., will be in contractor's cost at no extra cost to IOCL. 2) The successful tenderer shall set up necessary dark room at the site for interpretation of the radiographic films. 3) Qualified personnel for carrying out radiographic inspection as per applicable codes shall also be part of the rates quoted.

Scaffolding/Fire Screen

Supplying, providing of safe tubular double (box type) scaffolding inside/outside the tank as per specification & satisfaction of location in charge. After use, the same shall be dismantled and taken away by the contractor. Payments shall be made for actual area of scaffolding provided based on requirement. Area of scaffolding will be measured on the basis of actual height of scaffolding provided multiplied by actual average length/circumference of tank shell plate provided- One/First Time Use

Recovery for Re-Use of Scaffolding:Recovery for multiple erection of scaffolding as per above- Second/Third/---/Multiple Time Use at Same Location- Rate for Each Re use

Erecting temporary mobile fire screen wall of upto 4 M around the place where hot works is carried out using GI sheets or non- flammable asbestos sheets/cloth. Payment will be made for total area of sheets provided. The screen needs to be moved from place to place at no extra cost. This item may be operated for providing fire screen on hand rail along tank circumference on roof top also, as per site requirement.

Designing, supplying, fabricating, welding, bolting, riveting, assembling and erecting in position temporary required local upto 8.0 M high fire screen wall aound the tank with GI sheets with cross supports etc as per alignment shown by site Engineer, maintaining same till the completion of entire work and dismantling the entire screen wall carting away the dismantled materials from site redoing the entire existing surface to the original condition etc complete.The upto 20.0 M high fire screen wall including the foundation is to be designed and approved by a '' licensed structural Engineer'' and should be suitable for local soil bearing capacity, wind speed etc. Providing temporary fire screen for executing welding/cutting works etc. in licensed area and other areas inside depot/terminal/AFS for providing safe working condition. Fire screen to be provided as per site requirement, space availability, and to be fixed on temporary supports/plates etc. Payment will be made per unit sheet area.

Erecting temporary mobile fire screen wall of upto 4 M around the place where hot works is carried out using GI sheets or non- flammable asbestos sheets/cloth. Payment will be made for total area of sheets provided. The screen needs to be moved from place to place at no extra cost. This item may be operated for providing fire screen on hand rail along tank circumference on roof top also, as per site requirement.

Designing, supplying, fabricating, welding, bolting, riveting, assembling and erecting in position temporary required local upto 8.0 M high fire screen wall aound the tank with GI sheets with cross supports etc as per alignment shown by site Engineer, maintaining same till the completion of entire work and dismantling the entire screen wall carting away the dismantled materials from site redoing the entire existing surface to the original condition etc complete.The upto 20.0 M high fire screen wall including the foundation is to be designed and approved by a '' licensed structural Engineer'' and should be suitable for local soil bearing capacity, wind speed etc. Providing temporary fire screen for executing welding/cutting works etc. in licensed area and other areas inside depot/terminal/AFS for providing safe working condition. PART (B): FABRICATION / ERECTION / INSTALLATION WORKS

Laying of Above Ground Fire Hydrant Water pipelines of steel including pipes supplied by IOCL on pedestals/sleepers/overhead pipe rack/structures upto 20 M height etc. Pipes in the scope of IOC shall be supplied anywhere within the terminal area and the contractor shall shift the same to the site of work at no extra cost with all leads and lifts. The pieline laying includes cutting, positioning, setting, fixing the pipe fittings such as elbows, bends tees, reducers etc., complete with supports as per drawings, hydro testing and painting of the pipelines as per specification. Note: a. Charges for welding of pipelines, Pipe Fittings inclduing edge preparation, DP Testing & radiography testing shall be paid seperately under respective item. b. The job includes Blast cleaning (using Slag/ Shots) & painting of the outer surfaces of above ground pipeline/ fittings/ specials all leads & lifts etc. complete as per enclosed specifications and instructions at site. c. The primer and paint shall be as per the list of paint manufacturers enclosed. The make and quality of paint shall be decided in consultation with IOC prior to use. d. Pipe length indicated against each size is tentaive as per drawing. Payment will be made for the actual quantity executed at site. e. Pipeline colour coding shall be carried out as per IOC specifications at no extra cost for product piping. f. Structural Pipe Rack / Pedestals are not part of this item. g. Rate is inclusive of water required for hydrotesting. Water used for hydro-testing to be disposed off in environmentally friendly way after treatment. Reuse of water used for hydro testing of piping or tanks to be avoided or is possible only after getting confirmation from site incharge. h. Item includes cleaning of Pipeline after hydrotesting with compressed air / Cardboard Blasting as directed by Site in-Charge for fully draining of water / debris from the Pipeline. Also, cleaning of Pipeline to be carried out before/ during commissioning with product at no extra cost as per direction of Site in-Charge. i. Rate is inclusive of U Clamps wherever required.

Fabrication & Edge preparation for butt weld as per ASME B 31.3, tack welding, and final welding (3 runs minimum) of Fire Hydrant Water pipelines including pipe fittings (i.e. Elbows, Tees, Reducers, Olets, Couplings etc. except Flanges) by welders qualified as per ASME Section IX with supply of approved electrodes/consumables, welding machine, tools & tackles etc. No extra payment will be made for conducting tests for establishibg welding procedure (PQR and WPS) as per ASME Section IX and Third Party Inspection. The rate also includes the branch connection of smaller diameter Pipe to run Pipe, Pipe to Pipe connection, with Reinforcement Pad (RF Pas)as per specifictaion. RF Pads shall be paid on the basis of one weld joint on main pipe on which RF pad is welded.

Radiography inspection on product pipe joints & hydrant system pipe joints of all types and thickness of the following sizes including providing all necessary testing equipment required to perform the work as per detailed specification and instruction of IOC site engineer. The radiographs shall be submitted to the the Site in-Charge/ Consultant/ third party inspecting agency. Note: 1) Re-taking of radiography due to defective welds/ defective films/ defective workmanship etc., will be in contractor's cost at no extra cost to IOCL. 2) The successful tenderer shall set up necessary dark room at the site for interpretation of the radiographic films. 3) Qualified personnel for carrying out radiographic inspection as per applicable codes shall also be part of the rates quoted.

Making flanged joints (both for flanges & blind flanges & Spectacle Blind) of the following sizes including supplying and fixing 3 mm thk Non Asbestos gaskets, nuts, stud bolts, washers of approved make, all leads & lifts etc., complete as per specifications and instructions at site for Fire Hydrant, Sprinkler & Foam Solution Pipe joints.

Fixing supplied Carbon steel/ Stainless steel MOVs/ GATE VALVE/ GLOBE VALVE/ NRV/ ROSOV/ DBBV/ BALL VALVES/ ARC VALVE/ DELUGE VALVE/ BUTTERFLY VALVE/ PUPPET VALVES/ AIR RELEASE VALVE/ TRV/ STRAINER including valves supplied by IOCL of the following sizes on the pipeline including supplying and fixing 3 mm thk gaskets, nuts, stud bolts, washers of approved make, all leads & lifts etc., complete as per specifications and instructions at site. Note: a) Painting with approved make, colour, shade including colour coding as per specifications. b) The valves shall be supplied anywhere within the premises and the contractor shall undertake to lead the same to the foundations at no extra cost. c. Item includes supply & providing 8 SWG bare Cu wire for bonding between flanges for sizes up to & including 100 mm dia. for Product pipelines & 32mm - 50mm width Copper Strip (Thickness 3mm) for bonding between flanges for sizes above 100 mm dia.The job includes drilling of holes in the Cu strips for bolting purposes as per drawing, all leads & lifts etc., complete as per specifications and instructions at site.

With Non Asbestos gaskets, studs, nuts washers of approved make, all leads & lifts etc., complete as per specifications and instructions at site for Fire Hydrant, Sprinkler & Foam Solution Pipe joints.

Providing hot dip galvanizing (both inside and outside surfaces) for the following items with minimum 600 gm/sqm as per IS 4759. Item should be operated only for pipes/flanges/fittings forming part of sprinkler header, riser & rings inside the tank dyke.

Scaffolding/Fire Screen

Supplying, providing of safe tubular double (box type) scaffolding inside/outside the tank as per specification & satisfaction of location in charge. After use, the same shall be dismantled and taken away by the contractor. Payments shall be made for actual area of scaffolding provided based on requirement. Area of scaffolding will be measured on the basis of actual height of scaffolding provided multiplied by actual average length/circumference of tank shell plate provided- One/First Time Use

Recovery for Re-Use of Scaffolding:Recovery for multiple erection of scaffolding as per above- Second/Third/---/Multiple Time Use at Same Location- Rate for Each Re use

Erecting temporary mobile fire screen wall of upto 4 M around the place where hot works is carried out using GI sheets or non- flammable asbestos sheets/cloth. Payment will be made for total area of sheets provided. The screen needs to be moved from place to place at no extra cost. This item may be operated for providing fire screen on hand rail along tank circumference on roof top also, as per site requirement.

Designing, supplying, fabricating, welding, bolting, riveting, assembling and erecting in position temporary required local upto 8.0 M high fire screen wall aound the tank with GI sheets with cross supports etc as per alignment shown by site Engineer, maintaining same till the completion of entire work and dismantling the entire screen wall carting away the dismantled materials from site redoing the entire existing surface to the original condition etc complete.The upto 20.0 M high fire screen wall including the foundation is to be designed and approved by a '' licensed structural Engineer'' and should be suitable for local soil bearing capacity, wind speed etc. Providing temporary fire screen for executing welding/cutting works etc. in licensed area and other areas inside depot/terminal/AFS for providing safe working condition. Fire screen to be provided as per site requirement, space availability, and to be fixed on temporary supports/plates etc. Payment will be made per unit sheet area.
