REPAIR REPLACEMENT TO CERTAIN MISC E/M WORK IN MD ACCN IN DOMESTIC AREA AND REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF SWIMMING POOL FILTERATION PLANT CHLORINATION IONIZATION PLANT AND CONNECTED WORKS AT AFS JAMMU UNDER GE AF JAMMu

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60×60cm.× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level,earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15mm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in altemate layers Including refilling with good earth specified and electrode connections by using GI wire of 4sqmm size by means of bolts,nuts,checknuts and washers made of GI and provision of GI pipe medium grade 15 mmdia for protection of earthing lead and 20mm dia for watering arrangement Including funnel,wire mesh, CI pit cover and PCC chamber pit with PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 Including Taking out old unserviceable earthpit necessary excavation and earth work disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50mtr all as specified and shown on plate No 3 of MES Part-I.

Note : (a) Copper strip /GI strip/GI wire beyond test point shall be measured and paid separately however earth strip upto test point shall be deemed to be inclusive in quoted rates.

Supply and fix Earth contnuty conductor or main earthing lead GI strip 32 x 6 mm with porcelain /PVC insulator, saddled not exeeding 400mm spacing for roof conductor/down conductor with fixing screws or buried in ground or drawn in conduit /pipe/duct or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. conductor conneting and jointing completly with Brazing/Welding the overlap portion of any size copper Strip together copper plate/ rod/GI strip etc. as per site requirment Including Taking down old rusted/broken earth continuity strip all as per specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per Item No: 3 above but GI/steel wire of size 4mm dia all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for chart/ poster/ diagram / name plate etc made out of perpex sheet 2 mm thick, cut to size and shape with colour background and diagram and letters including fixing arrangement with screws / adhesives as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.Note: The content and size of chart/ poster /diagram / name plate etc shall be as per standard engineering practice given by the Engr in charge during execution of work.

Spray Painting of Pump & Motor any type, capacity upto 25 HP of various pump houses as per colour code (Shade) of MES specification after cleaning the dust particle of existing motor & Pump as directed by Engr-in-Charge

M & L for Preparation of old painted surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enammel paints on external surfaces of over head reserviour of any height and any size of CI/GI/DI suction / delivery pipes and ladder etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking down carefully unserviceable copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power)complete including fixture and fitting such as switches, ceiling rose lamp holder, regulators, sockets, light fittings, wooden terminal boxes, plastic laminated sheet cover, including taking down of DB’s, meter board any type all as specified and as directed.

Point wiring concealed/cassing capping with 1.5 Sqmm copper conductor cable (multistrand) PVC insulated FRLS (unsheathed), drawing in and including PVC conduit 20 mm dia, having wall thickness not less than 2 mm with sunk cast iron/pressed steel terminal boxes made out of 1.2 mm thick sheet including one coat red oxide primer on internal and external surface covered with 3 mm thick hylam brand IS-2036 marked laminated modular sheet cover (for mounting switches, sockets, regulators etc), including 1.5 Sqmm PVC insulated (multistranded) FRLS copper conductor continuous earth wire for one light /fan point/bell point/5Amp Socket controlled by one, one way switch on independent board complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No-9 above but for one 3 pin socket out let, 6 Amps on Independent board with the cable 2.5 Sqmm size.
