MISC. CIVIL & STRUCTURAL DEMOLISHIONG/DISMANTLING WORKS

Demolition of BRICK Work including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of un-serviceable materials at suitable locations within/outside the Refinery Area as advised by EIC.( Including above ground and foundation). Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structures comprising of brick/Block/Rubble masonry, including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lift and lead of 500 m outside exit gate (Brick works/ Rubble masonary made with Cement Mortar of all mix)

Demolition of PCC WORK including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of un-serviceable materials at suitable locations within/ouside the Refinery Area as advised by EIC ( Including above ground and foundation). Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls, drains, trenches, and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, including Tools and Machineries and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 500 m outside exit gate (By mechanical means) (Plain Cement Concrete of all Mix grades)

Demolition of RCC WORK including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of un-serviceable materials at suitable locations within/outside the Refinery Area as advised by EIC ( Including above ground and foundation). Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls, drains, trenches, and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, including Tools and Machineries and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 500 m outside exit gate (By mechanical means) (Reinforced Cement Concrete of all Mix grades)

Demolition of ROAD WORKS (average thickness of road crust=500mm) including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of un-serviceable materials at suitable locations within/outside the Refinery Area using suitable equipments/machinary, manpower as per directions and to the satisfaction of EIC.

EARTHWORK

EARTHWORK IN EXCAVATION: Earth work in excavation by mechanical means below ground level in all kind of Soil for all kind of works in foundation including pipe / cable trenches, pavements, manholes, footings, pipelines, pipe sleepers, drains, ug pits etc. including all labour, materials, dressing of sides, leveling, grading and ramming of bottom, pumping & bailing out water accumulated due to rain and / or subsoil water if required and including disposal or stacking, leveling and neatly dressing as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, Keeping of surplus excavated material within a lead of 500 M etc. including dismantling and providing temporary supports to existing service lines like water pipes, sewerage, electric cables, etc., including shoring/ strutting if required, all materials tools, tackles and labour all complete and as directed by Owner/Engineer-in-Charge for following depth

From grade level upto 1.5 m depth

From 1.5m depth to 3.0 m depth

DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS EARTH: Carting away ( transporting and disposing ) of surplus earth,lime,moorum,rubbish,debris including refractory /insulation debris,shrubs and vegetations from construction area beyond the initial lead of 500M to anywhere including re-excavating the deposited soil excavated earlier, transportation, loading, unloading, laying at all depths and heights, stacking, levelling and dressing both the area (viz. from where the earth is transported and where it is deposited) to required levels and slopes complete with all lifts as per the direction of the Owner/ Engineer-in- Charge. For carting on the basis of truck measurements (Volume of truck reduced by 30% for voids). Note : Outing gate of Refinery shall be decided by NRL / EIC as per the site condition . The arrangement of necessary land for disposal is in the scope of the contractor & The cost should be inclusive of same. Including necessary approval from the local authorities for the dumping area.

FILLING & BACKFILLING

BACKFILL WITH WMM

Backfilling in section excavations for foundation, Paving, plinth, trenches etc with W.M.M supplied by Contractor , loading, transporting the earth to site of work, unloading, breaking clods and laying at all depths and heights in layers of 200 mm loose thickness, watering and ramming to proper compaction to achieve 85% laboratory maximum dry density as per IS 2720 part XIV, before providing the above treatment the base of foundation pit shall be compacted to 95% max dry density as per IS 2720 part VII. all complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Price shall be including cost of backfill material along with all royalties. including Inspections and Tests

SAND FILLING

Supplying and filling clean, coarse sand of approved quality conforming to Zone II & III as per IS 383 under floors, pavements,sand blanket for foundations, in foundation and plinth, tank pads etc. including cost of sand, royalties, transportation to site for all leads & lifts, incuding loading & unloading, spreading in layers of loose thickness not exceeding 150 mm at all depths, watering, ramming, compacting with mechanical compactors and/or other equipment to the specified levels to achive 95% relative density as per IS:2720 Part XIV,including preparation of subgrade to the required slope,providing testing apparatus and testing the degree of consolidation all complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.The rates shall be inclusive of the cost of all labour,material,equipments etc. all complete.( Rate for compacted thickness shall be considered.)

CLEARING GRASS: Clearing the area of grass, rank vegetation, wild growth, bushes,shrubs, trees and plants upto 30 cm girth measured at a height of 1.0M above ground level from road side berms, under pipelines and structures, tank farms, drains, yards etc. by removal of grass ,plants etc. by uprooting/scrapping upto depth of 150 mm completely from ground and making good the area disturbed, collecting all uprooted vegetation etc. bundling into heaps and disposal outside owner’s battery area at earmarked places only within a lead of 4 km with contractor's own transport, all tools, tackles, labour etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

FELLING TREES: Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots, stacking of serviceable materials within owner’s battery area as directed and disposal of unserviceable materials etc. outside owner’s battery area ,all complete as per the direction of engineer-in-charge.

HIRE CHAGES FOR MACHINERIES

Note :- 1. Above hire - charges (from item code 0001 to 0083) include cost of services of operating staff, Cost of lubricating oil, diesel / Petrol/ Kerosene oil , other consumables for running the plant and machinery and excluding GST. 2. The hire charges of plant machinery on per day basis are for single shift of eight working hours.

Deployment & operation of Hydraulic Excavator (Crawler mounted) of bucket capacity of at least 0.65 cum including supply of necessary fuel & operator for the same, tools and tackles, PPEs etc. for collection of earth, debris / waste materials etc.,and loading in the Tipper (The job has to be carried out for minimum 8 hours in a day)

Deployment & operation of Hydraulic Excavator (Tyre mounted) including supply of necessary fuel & operator for the same,tools and tackles, PPEs etc. for collection of earth, debris / waste materials etc., and loading in the Tipper (The job has to be carried out for minimum 8 hours in a day)

Deployment & operation of Tipper / Dumper (capacity: 18 cum) including supply of necessary fuel & operator for the same,tools and tackles, PPEs etc. for loading of earth, debris / waste materials etc., and unloading for disposal to the designated disposal area inside the Refinery boundary as per instruction of Engineer-In-Charge. (The job has to be carried out for minimum 8 hours in a day)

Deployment & operation of Motor Grader 3.35 metre blade including supply of necessary fuel & operator for the same, tools and tackles, PPEs etc. for collection of earth, debris / waste materials etc, (The job has to be carried out for minimum 8 hours in a day)

Deployment & operation of TATA 407 or equivalent for local shifting inside the Refinery boundary including supply of necessary fuel & operator for the same,tools and tackles, PPEs etc., as per instruction of Engineer-In-Charge. (The job has to be carried out for minimum 8 hours in a day)

Hire charges of Pump set of capacity 4000 litres/hour.

CONCRETE - P.C.C

Providing, mixing and laying blinding layer of PCC nominal mix using 40mm and downgraded coarse aggregate for any thickness below footings, plinth beams, G.F.slab, pilecaps, foundations, trenches, pits & sumps etc. as levelling course, filling material, using Ordinary Portland cement/ Portland Pozzolona Cement, curing including shuttering, tamping, ramming, vibrating, etc., complete, as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge. For details refer specification for Plain and Reinforced concrete (NR-0ZZZZ-CV-SPE-0002). Materials to be supplied as per approved vendor lists attached with special conditions of contract.

CONCRETE - R.C.C

Providing and laying REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE OF M-30 GRADE (Ready Mix Concrete with design mixes) with 20mm and down size graded crushed stone Aggregates / Gravel in SUB-STRUCTURE, using Ordinary Portland Cement/Portland Pozzolona Cement. E.g. Foundations, raft, beams, slabs, pile caps. retaining walls, dyke walls, jambs, counterforts, buttresses. pedestals, pipe sleepers, columns, suspended floors, staircases, landings, steps, brackets,trenches, culverts, manholes, pipe encasement, catchpits, drains, pits, underground tunnels and other similar UG items etc., including equipment/ machine foundations & pedestals viz. compressors, ID & FD fans, pumps, generators. crushers, mills, etc., (including single pour concreting as specified on the drawing), applying cement wash on concrete surface (wherever no other surface application is specified), providing pockets, openings, recesses, chamfering, etc., wherever required, vibrating. tamping, curing and rendering if require ed to give a smooth and even surface etc. (EXCLUDING THE COST OF REINFORCEMENT, SHUTTERING & SPECIFIED ADMIXTURES) for all depths below and upto plinth level in any shape, position and thickness etc. all complete as specified, shown and directed. For details refer specification for Plain and Reinforced concrete (NR-0ZZZZ-CV-SPE-0002). ALL MATERIALS INCLUDING CEMENT SUPPLIED BY THE CONTRACTOR

SHUTTERING

Providing and fixing CENTERING AND SHUTTERING in foundations, footings, raft, beams, slabs, pile caps, retaining walls, jambs, counter-forts, buttresses, trenches, equipment/machine foundations, pedestals, abutments, pipe sleepers, columns, plinth beams, lintels, suspended slabs, beams, staircases, landings, steps, non-circular tunnels / bunkers / silos / shafts / hoppers / liquid storage structures etc. for all depths below and upto & inclusive of plinth level including shuttering for single pour concreting, strutting. bracing, propping etc., keeping the same in position during Concreting and removal of the same after specific period etc. for Straight / Inclined Shuttering, keeping necessary provisions for Inserts, Projecting Dowels, Anchor Bolts or any other Fixture, tools, equipments and labour necessary for the work,etc., all complete and as specified and directed.

REINFORCEMENT

Supply and fixing in position TMT reinforcement bars Fe500D conforming to IS-1786 (FY=500 MPa) for RCC work including the cost of steel and cost of binding wire, carting the same to site of work, straightening, cleaning, cutting, binding with 18 SWG black soft annealed binding wire, and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, spacers, complete for all heights and depths complete as per drawing & specification. Materials to be supplied as per approved vendor lists attached with special conditions of contract. For payment reinforcement including authorized weight for spacer bars, laps, chairs etc shall be measured separately for diameter wise length actually used. Wastages & unauthorized laps shall not be considered for payment.

BRICK MASONRY

Providing and laying BRICK MASONRY WITH BRICKS OF CLASS 7.5 in cement mortar 1:6 (1 Cement : 6 Sand) in one or more brick thickness and in any shape (excluding circular/curved brick masonry) at all depths below plinth level including the cost of materials, labour, scaffolding / staging, sampling & testing, soaking of bricks, cutting and laying of bricks, providing recesses, making openings of any shape & size, finishing the joints flush below ground level and raking out the joints above ground level, sealing the gap between masonry and soffit of beam/slab, embedding the fittings & fixtures, curing, etc. all complete as per specifications. ALL MATERIALS INCLUDING CEMENT SUPPLIED BY THE CONTRACTOR Its include providing 12mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:6 on brick wall and / or concrete surfaces anywhere and at any elevation as required as per spec including cleaning, hacking surfaces, scaffolding, watering curing etc. complete for all heights.

12mm thick Cement Plaster

Providing and applying smooth cement plaster with waterproofing compound of given thickness conforming to IS-2645 (CICO/ approved equivalent as per master supplier list) at all heights and below plinth in CM 1:6 to walls, beams, column, drain, bends, moulds, grooves, pattas and drip course to all brick and RCC surfaces including raking joints, scaffolding, curing finishing smooth including cost of cement, cleaning, hacking concrete surfaces, scaffolding, providing drip moulds, POINTING if required, watering, curing etc. complete for all heights, providing grooves (for 20 mm thick plaster) in plaster 12 mm wide and 12mm deep where two different material like Concrete and Brickwork are in line all complete as specified in Drawings and specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.The plaster shall be rubbed with ""Iron Plate"" till the surface shows cement paste in line level complete as directed. 12mm thick Cement Plaster without water proofing Compound using 1:6 mix mortar". For Plastering and pointing refer specification TP-1ZZZA-CV-SPE-0005.

PIPE CULVERTS

Providing , Laying and jointing of RCC hume pipe of NP3 class with socket and spigot ends conforming to IS:458 of approved make, to proper grade slopes and alignment, including earthwork in excavation in all types of soil except soft and hard rock for pipe trenches, pits, manholes etc. including dewatering of surface / sub surface water as required to facilitate lowering of pipes, taking all safety precautions, supporting existing U/G services, shoring and shuttering if necessary, dressing of sides, levelling, grading and ramming of bottoms, cutting the R.C.C. pipes to required lengths, lowering the pipes, jointing including connecting the pipes to manholes and grouting the pipes body with manhole wall using cement mortar 1 : 2 (1Cement : 2Sand), testing, draining of water and cleaning of pipes after testing, PCC bed, sand cushion and haunch concrete, backfilling the trenches with serviceable available earth including re-excavating the deposited soil excavated earlier, breaking clods, laying in thickness not exceeding 15 Cms., watering, rolling and ramming by manual methods / mechanical compactors
